ZoomInfo - Best in Business Contact Information
What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo has full and complete information for nearly any contact type you can want. Searching for these contacts is made easy through the advanced search tool and also allows you to get as granular as you want. Perhaps the best feature, however, is that you can easily keep track of specific search types and contacts that you have already exported using the 'tag' feature. This allows you to prevent a situation where you are building out names that you have already started using. It is also a two-way street, so if there are certain organizations that you already have a relationship with or you don't want to gather contact info for, you can easily make a list of these accounts to exclude in a search.
Besides this easy, efficient searchability, ZoomInfo also allows you to upload account lists with little to no information and go off of that to create searches. My switch to ZoomInfo allowed me to save massive amounts of time in outbound prospecting.

What do you dislike about the product?
The search features may be difficult for some users to learn to use initially - many of my colleagues are unaware of features that they could be using to save them time. Additionally, the searches can load slowly at time and it is not super easy to search for a single account name - you must type it in and wait for results to show up, or you will get a list of contacts as opposed to the desired account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A minor issue that could be fixed is that when you create a tag for the first time and tag people you must go back and click 'tag' again. Contact information is generally accurate but there is a significant amount of wrong numbers on the mobile section. This is around 5% of exported mobile numbers in my experience.

90% of the time I have acess to a direct dial number and email.

The ease of access to contact information - unavailable elsewhere - for business professionals, making finding Decision Makers infinitely easier.

Some personal confusion about Lists and Exporting, but I'm just starting!

As a current user, I am getting access to Decision-Maker-level contact information for my prospective clients.

Other than normal little irritants you normally encounter in software programs, it is a fantastic tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have always been a diligent prospector in sales in over a 30 year career but I have never been given this level of prospecting tools and I am now able to find the right person in the company that I need to speak with and all of their contact info provided including email address, mobile number and direct line number. No longer at the mercy of the gatekeepers!

All the contacts are available, hierarchy is seen well, helps understand the accounts and target them well

Sometimes it does not contain the contacts, and still, your one view of that contact is lost. Double viewing the same contact, again one view of the contact is lost.

It's very easy to use and usually has all the companies I am looking to contact. It's easy to use and the competitors page is a great way to find additional prospects.

What do you dislike about the product?
The revenue numbers could be better or more accurate. Occasionally, the contacts are a bit outdated, but a quick LinkedIn search can usually validate their info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm looking to locate prospects in my company's "ideal customer profile". Zoominfo has a number of direct phone #s and almost always their email addresses.

Sometimes there are numbers that are not valid. But that is very minimal.

Very consistent, daily prospecting. Benefited from the amount of prospects I can reach daily.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo is great at providing accurate contact information which has been very helpful in my particular job position. Sometimes employees are interested in a product, so they fill out a form with their contact information for follow up contact, but the information provided will be off on a couple of numbers when submitting their forms, so this website is very useful in obtaining accurate information. On certain occasions, the propsect does not give any information outside of a personal e-mail address which can lead to your outreach hitting their spam box. In this case, Zoominfo will also provide a company e-mail address which is much more helpful in avoiding that issue, but also they will provide their workplace phone number which helps you get in direct contact with the prospective client; this is the most useful since you always want to try to get your propsective clients on the phone as opposed to e-mail, but either is great.
Also, since I work with specific territories and employee counts, this will give me an estimated idea of how large the company is which will effectively help me determine if I should be contacting them or not. It'll help me verify where the company is headquarted as well which is a major plus because as mentioned, I work with specific territories, and sometimes it's harder than not to determine HQ locations but Zoominfo provides a pretty seamless process at gathering these important company details.

Sometimes the employee count is outdated and very different than what linkedin is indicating, but I don't run into this issue often. It is only unfortunate when this number is severely off because I'll be reaching out to potential prospects that aren't apart of my territority which leads me to handing off my meetings to others.
One other thing that can be a bit of an inconvenience is that when the company information is not updated, neither are the employees within the system. If the propsective client did not provide contact information for their follow up request, it's really difficult to get a hold of their information at all whenever Zoominfo doesn't have them listed as an employee at all. Linkedin does not provide contact information the way zoominfo does, so if Zoominfo does not list the employee in the company, then it becomes much more challenging to find them at all.

Obtaining valid contact information is a huge benefit, and it helps me solve the problem of being able to reach out to high valued leads whenever they only include their e-mail addresses or nothing at all. Zoominfo gives you a very quicky, easy way/process to ensure that you're obtaining (mostly correct) information about the company you're getting ready to contact.

Take advantage of the information Zoominfo has to offer. It will really help you get in touch with propsective clients in a direct way which helps move the process along quicker rather than not. It will also then help you look for additional information elsewhere if zoominfo does not provide it in order to learn more about the company. It will also help you save a lot of time in the event that the company does not/no longer exists.

What do you like best about the product?
No other database lets you pinpoint the correct contact and engage must faster. There's no loss of Sales productivity because you can search easily with a list of filters that make it easy to find the right company, contact, and compare with competitors. Furthermore, you have access to contacts anywhere in the world, in any industry and in every level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the information is missing or needs to be updated, which sometimes requires a checkup on LinkedIn or any other tool. I'm uncertain that the Canadian data is as accurate as the US data: it seems like many companies report low revenues and have little contact information. Some positions in Franch have been strangely added, with french phrases instead of accurate titles. Someone with French knowledge should look into this, I have seen some strange records.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have accelerated Sales cycles and cut the time required to connect with decision-makers by 90%. It's challenging to obtain valid email addresses and phone numbers today, and I may add even more challenging during this pandemic where many are working remotely.

In conjunction with major CRM software, you can export contacts, making it much faster and without errors.
