Raised their prices because they "added new functionality", but key functionality is lacking.
What do you like best about the product?
-Good for doing mass exports, phone numbers and e-mails and generally accurate
-Some great customizable search features
-Company demographics and data is accurate

What do you dislike about the product?
-Prices were raised recently because of "all the new features and data added", but new features are half-baked and data is increasingly innacurate
-The technographics are complete garbage. DiscoverOrg and Datanyze used to have fairly accurate technology data, but they acquired a bunch of sales intelligence providers and merged into one massive entity where they essentially threw the kitchen sink of any data they could possibly find into company technographics and now it's complete garbage. If we try to target a company using a specific piece of technology, that information is 10% accurate at best. We'be had to pay extra money for lists from other vendors to fix this.
-The integration feature with vendors like SFDC and Outreach.io is half-baked. Essential fields like work number and direct numer can't be added properly without breaking. SFDC leads often fail to upload altogether.
-Prospect titles are often innacurate.
-Slow pace to catch up to updating prospects.
-Intent data we were sold on is useless.
-Your account manager and customer success manager will be switched several times a year, don't get used to any lasting relationships.
-After they acquired Datanyze, they removed key features like scraping for website technology and company job postings... rendering it completely inert. They basically just acquired it to burn it down so they wouldn't have to compete with them.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're getting more problems then we're actually solving. SDR organizations need a list provider and sales intelligence tool. Because ZoomInfo/DiscoverOrg gobbled up all their competitors, they now operate like a typical monopoly - acquiring vendors without linking them together holistically and throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what will stick in order to upsell to their existing customer base.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Vet the market for every other sales intelligence provier, hopefully a disruptor will emerge to build a similar product but one that actually works as advertised.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to research organizational charts.

I wish that the information regarding employee contacts and financials was more up to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use ZoomInfo to do research within organizations for sales purposes, specifically for IT and C Level purposes. There is a wealth of knowledge about how organizations function, especially with their financial breakdowns.
Eliminated my multiple prospecting resources into one
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to narrow my prospecting by my territorial zip code, filtering my search details, and having the inside scoop of the "Intent" of my prospects gives me the advantage and efficiency to perform my day to day prospecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Realtime updates, which is hard to accomplish and I completely understand. I've experienced contacts no longer active on the company profile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have access to top executive contact info, which has a major part in the decision making process, eliminates the hurdles for making your information viable.
Cutting out much of the hard work to get the person you need.

- Insights into the company's intent on related projects.
- Getting direct numbers to the right person.
- Company information - locations, numbers, revenue and employees.
- Search filters that allow me to find companies that would be good to prospect and exporting to my CRM.
This really does cut out much of the fruitless activity of searching for companies and battling with gate keepers to get in touch with the right person.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Unreliable information - about 80% of the information is correct (that may be a harsh estimate) so from time to time the numbers are fax lines, or the wrong number altogether, but that is true for much of the information on the internet.
- "help" and pop-ups can be annoying, however I am sure that there is an element of user error, so please take that into account.
Essentially like all resources, there will always be something to improve on, but there is no avoiding, that this is one of the more powerful sales tools in my arsenal, and I fear leaving my company and selling without this. I

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can search more effectively for companies that I can prospect - excluding companies that would be a waste of time.
Also being able to be much more effective in reaching out to the right person within their organization as opposed to beating my head against the wall battling with gatekeepers etc.
This makes me far more efficient and therefore effective for my company.

This is not a magic wand - but it certainly helps....a lot

What do you like best about the product?
The system is easy to use and you are able to find all the hidden gems and pieces of data you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to pay extra if you want cell phone numbers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to identify company information and email addresses in one place. The data is very accurate and you dont need a million different chrome extensions to try and find the data. Plus zoominfo now comes with a quick and easy to use extension so you dont always need to sign into the full version.

The ability to be able download data to a CSV

Once you have a list save, hard to get number directly

Sourcing leads. Downloads directly to CSV excel file. Easy to find numbers and get directly in touch with clients. Allows you to see accurate company size as well.
ZoomInfo is a resource that EVERY Organization needs
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is a resource that EVERY Organization needs if they want to see their business grow. The data is accurate, the data is plentiful and it's amazing how their platform integrates to our CRM seamlessly and we enjoy the google plug-in's for convenience in perusing prospective customers' websites and seeing insight into their current financials, scoops on project initiatives and of course access to the company Organizational Charts and the contact info within those org charts. I HIGHLY recommend ZoomInfo and would consider myself one of their biggest fans. Can't say enough to do a justice in terms of the ways this tool helps businesses scale their sales / BD teams success rates. Unbelievable job! Hats off to the entire organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you have to click on each contact to view their contact info in the Contact List view, If there was an "Expand All" option that'd be nice to have so we can call through people and not have to click, one-by-one-by-one.

Getting real-time insight with the intent information and seeing what types of things our current list of customers are looking to talk about.

Great tool, but constant popups kill user experience
What do you like best about the product?
it has almost all of the contact information I need as an SDR
What do you dislike about the product?
I would recommend a competitor every time because there are so many popups. I use ZoomInfo to quickly find and update contact information that may be missing in our CRM, but it's impossible to do quickly and efficiently due to "new announcements" "notifications" and popups.

I use it to find and update contact informations for potential leads
