Integral to my every day. process
What do you like best about the product?
Not only does it have up to date information on contacts who are all working from home now but it also give me insight into the technology stack that companies are using to give me a better point of view when calling into companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was more functionality in customizing and filtering lists so I can break down those into more targeted segments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am adding fresh contacts with accurate and up to date information to call on. With most people working from home, cell phone numbers have become necessary to reach people and without Zoominfo they would be close to impossible to get.

Zoominfo is incredibly helpful in helping me reach the correct contacts while prospecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the information is outdated, I wish they would update more frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes information is outdated and people listed no longer work there or have different titles. Although this is an issue, it is still helpful 90% of the time in helping me get to the right people.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to cross reference information to make sure info is accurate.
The best tool for direct lines
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is exceptional at getting direct lines. It acts like Google for phone numbers. Lookup a prospect, and if they are on ZoomInfo, most likely you can get a direct line if not a cell phone number. I've set countless meetings with numbers I found in ZoomInfo.
It is also good for email verification. For instance, if a company uses a middle initial, it may be hard to find/guess the email. ZoomInfo is a good way to verify.

What do you dislike about the product?
ZoomInfo's data is not always up to date. While the phone number/email might be accurate, the contact may no longer be at the company. I'll see someone moved to a new company on LinkedIn, but it could take a while for ZoomInfo to update that data. Because of this, I do not use ZoomInfo for finding people, but for verifying contact information.
It is not very easy to add contacts to Salesforce from ZoomInfo as well. You can, but it's very choppy, and the google chrome extension only works if the contact is in ZoomInfo.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Direct lines. If your company is looking to set more meetings over the phone, this is your tool. As mentioned, you'll need to use this along with Sales Nav, Outreach, Salesforce, etc., but this is a great tool that is the go-to for phone numbers.

I like the fact that it provides relevant scoops and contact information.

The titles are a little outdated and often don't match what's in LinkedIn.

The problem of finding relevant contacts and ZoomInfo is great at providing contact information which makes reaching out easier.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo's integration with tech tools like Outreach, Salesforce, and LinkedIn makes my workflow simple and streamlined. The Chrome extension allows me to access contact information and export it from anywhere. Being able to easily build lists and configure them to fit my ideal target audience has been critical in my success. The availability of information allows me to get extremely specific in terms of who I want to reach out to and what criteria I want to include.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed that when exporting data from ZoomInfo into Outreach, not all of the information gets transferred accurately. There is occasionally some manual work where I need to add an additional phone number. The contact information of people can sometimes be inaccurate (phone numbers are sometimes not correct). Additionally, I've noticed that company contacts are not updated as frequently as they should be. You may be reaching out to individuals who are no longer at the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo has helped me save time finding, creating, and transferring contact data prior to reaching out. I've seen a significant increase in productivity, efficiency, and accuracy with the use of the product. My workflow is much more streamlined, and I can trust that the information I am receiving is accurate the majority of the time.

It makes it easy to find prospect's emails, supplemental emails, and phone numbers in seconds!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you have to dig around if it is not updated to find the person's contact. or maybe if it's not updated you can only get their supplemental email. but that's fine!

The scoops! I whenever I start on a new account i go to the scoops to find our what's happening at the company!

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of detailed data we can get on potential leads is invaluable to both sales and marketing. On the marketing side, the segmentation allows us to build very targeted campaign lists. We are able to find a substantial amount of contacts for our more broad campaigns as well, and have seen good results with leads converting to opportunities even outside our target segments. On the sales side, the insight into company initiatives tells us exactly who to call in our prospecting efforts. Our team is able to find specific contacts they need to get in touch with to further deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
When RainKing was acquired by DiscoverOrg, some of the segment options we used regularly were removed, so we are not able to get as close to our target responsibilities as we used to. We also had to relearn an interface we were previously comfortable with. The interface has been changed a few times over the years, causing confusion among our sales team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use ZoomInfo to drive registrations for all of our events—digital and in-person. We also use it to drive digital engagement with all of our campaigns. These registrations turn into leads, which turn into opportunities, which turn into closed-won business. Our sales team uses ZoomInfo to gain valuable insight into their prospective customers and their business needs. When they call their contacts, they have a much greater knowledge of their initiatives than they would otherwise have. This enhances our close rate quite a bit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think carefully about the type and amount of data you actually need and don't buy a data set that is too large or too small...consider your long-term goals.

ZoomInfo is excellent for finding quality information for targeted prospects, and discovering useful insights into companies and industries we are targeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many features to ZoomInfo, but ZoomInfo doesn't do a great job explaining how to use all the features the platform has.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the issue of finding prospect information so we can reach out to them. With ZoomInfo, we can upload mass amounts of contacts at once instead of individually uploading contact info, saving us time.
