  • December 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search for companies from all industries empowered with intent data, and segment contacts by specific job roles and functions. Even for Latin America the database is very complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints for now. We had doubts that the contact information in Latin America could be insufficient but they did everything possible to solve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales Prospecting, Intent Research.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform lacks alot of the information that would be helpful to contact the prospects we want to reach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we're able to solve is updating stale contact info.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No platform is going to be 100% complete with all the info you need, however ZoomInfo does a solid job at providing quality data.

Awesome tool for insights

What do you like best about the product?
Getting an understanding of the org structures and key contacts that can be truly helpful for your business. Especially after the merger of DiscoverOrg and Zoominfo the quality seems to have improved significantly with the UX.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing structure: I feel it is a little complicated segregating by Geos, by Orgs and all... Other than that - none that I can think of as far as the tool is concerned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Huge help for our inside sales team to do a better job in reaching out to the right contacts within an organization. Some of the intent tools also help analyze the priorities of our customers at any given moment.

Get sakes info and customer details quickly from ZoomInfo

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo has been really easy to use, right from the main screen. If you are in sales like me, it's great to hone in on the verticals and companies you want to be prospecting by creating a list. It's easy to sort your search and get super granular about the company and find contacts to call into prospect. Its a great value for money if you research for any company or any industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to say what I dislike, however, I can say the accuracy of the data can be outdated at times. I know that ZoomInfo does aggregate data from many sources, but I have found this contact data can be old. With that said, it’s still better than other database searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo helps me create useful prospecting lists to go after certain verticals, industries and job titles - all which help me hit my numbers of daily dials and quota. I'm also able to create lookalike lists and get alerts on company and personnel changes which can help making a connection faster and better, thus increasing the likelihood to create a sales opportunity.

Amazing team, incredible tool

What do you like best about the product?
Scoops and Intent are easily at the top of the list for me. Knowing what intent topics you want is a must, and the list can be daunting, but it is WELL worth it. Knowing what companies are searching for can really help you get ahead of the game. As you are calling on companies, having scoops to understand what changes they're utilizing is such an incredible tool to have and to speak to.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't a downside of Zoominfo per se, but Zoominfo gives you incredible information. Once you have this information, understanding the cadence that works best for your company to get call backs and responses from these contacts you find can be challenging. We've had Zoominfo for about 6months and still have not gotten a response for any contact, regardless of how we've reached out to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving a few problems: identifying accurate contacts for target prospects, seeing what prospects are searching for or when the best approach is for our team. Intent has really benefitted us, even with our existing clients, to be able to stay ahead of the game with what they're searching for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoominfo is really an incredible tool to have at your fingertips and can serve as a powerful resource for you. Understanding the cadence your clients need to have is crucial for success.

Glitchy, bad user experience, and very slow customer service

  • November 30, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The contact information is decently accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Extremely disappointing for the price. This is a review of the paid enterprise product, not their free database. First of all, the database is very glitchy. When I tag things and go to the list of those tagged items for review and export, either there are contacts/accounts that I tagged that are missing from the list (but are accurately tagged when I view the contact/account on its own), or the entire list doesn't download. I have to go through the lists I downloaded to find which items are missing and export them individually, which is extremely time-consuming. Secondly, the user experience is very poor. It is difficult to search by exact title (not just C-suite etc.), business model (B2B/B2C, but 80% of the companies aren't tagged), and similar businesses. It is also frustrating to find an account to target and then have to take the extra step of clicking into the contact to tag it instead of just tagging it on the company page (big slowdown since the database loads very slowly). If you want to tag an entire list, you can only add 25 at a time. The 25 limit on the page has caused more problems than I can count, and entries at the top/bottom of the page constantly change even if you sort the list the same way. Entries disappear constantly. It is very slow and clunky. I've been randomly locked out of my account with no explanation and no immediate assistance (despite the prompt to "please contact customer service.") Finally, customer service is a joke. An enterprise product should have immediate customer service, especially for a product this poor. I have waited hours for responses to emails after hours (which is ridiculous - business is 24/7 these days), and waited on hold for over 30 minutes during business hours only for the customer service person to have no immediate solution and need to check with the engineers (of which there aren't enough, evidently). I've lost days and key outreach times to this poorly designed product with poorer service. It is no surprise that the company has 50% adjusted EBITDA margins. They do not spend enough on product engineering and customer service and are merely ripping off their customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to solve lead generation with ZoomInfo, but it has created more problems than it solved. With the amount of time I spend working around all the issues with the product, I might as well have used a Google search and email finder, which would cost about 10% of what I spent on ZoomInfo.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not worth the price.
