A great B2B database if you have the extra cash

What do you like best about the product?
It's nice when they actually have the correct and updated info of the companies and contacts that you're looking for. It's nice to be able to use the Salesforce integration to be able to sync data and get things added with just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inaccurate data. It sort of defeats the purpose when the data is incorrect and contacts are no longer at the company. You might not find out until later until after you've sent an email that ends up bouncing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding a list of target accounts using search criteria that mimics the profile of our top clients. We were able to get a preliminary list of roughly 1000 accounts that fit our ideal buyer persona. It was nice to be able to add them all into Salesforce with a few clicks, saving lots of time in the process. When the contact's data is accurate and found in the database, it saves a lot of time being able to find their contact info and seamlessly sync it with our Salesforce instance. It's only been a month or so, so I'm hoping that we're only scratching the surface.

User friendly, centralized prospecting tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Consistent and effective customer support, detailed level of filters in which to search, ease of uploading data and extracting lists and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to see prevent previously downloaded contacts from one team account when logged in as another user. You can get charge multiple credits if 3 different users choose to extract data on Jane Doe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ineffective lists generating high bounce rates, Being able to clean dirty data using Never Bounce functionality. Grabbing intents and signals to create impactful messaging during a buying surge.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its pricey but it will pay for itself, even inside a smaller company. The team hours we save allow us to get farther with less overhead, all day long.

Amount of contacts. Scoops are a key tool to have.

Not just a database.

What do you like best about the product?
It used to be the org charts, research data and general database. Now ZI is sooo much more. From integrations with our websites to interact with form fills and anonymous visitors to contact data, ZI is a staple to our org.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though this hasn't impacted us, the credit model doesn't seem ideal. We are legacy DiscoverOrg customers and are used to a consumption model that was a bit friendlier. However, as part of the migration, I felt like ZI was fair in getting us a credit threshold we wouldn't reach anytime soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved database with enrichment. Contact data for our outreach. Improved form competitions with form complete. Intent and scoop data to help point ABM and sales reps in the right direction. The chrome extension for Linkedin is awesome too. InboxAI is way cool too and is integral to our reporting.

Extremely useful tool with lots of information available

What do you like best about the product?
I like the contact information and intent features the most. The reach out extension makes it very easy to pull people's information directly from their LinkedIn profile, which is very helpful if you have only been given a name or something like that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The recommended contacts in reports aren't always the best contacts for our purposes. Those contacts are often a waste of credits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to determine when customers are in the early stages of purchasing, which helps our sales team and their dealers reach out to the customer sooner and have a greater chance of closing a deal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It can be a very useful tool and ZoomInfo has very good customer service and support.

Zoominfo constantly keeps improving quality of their database

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Zoominfo free version back in 2017 and 2018 and I noticed they kept improving the quality of their contact data. Now with the paid version and newly updated platform I can say that contacts' emails/phones are very accurate ( as they can be in an ever-changing world).
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoominfo has been making a lot of changes to its new platform, so it is sometimes hard to keep up. Also, the platform is very complicated to use even for experienced admins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are performing contact search/contact information updates as well as net new account search for prospecting(This only became possible after Zoominfo joining with Discover Org )
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to set up clear goals with your Sales Rep when picking the specific products to purchase/tier.
And complete Zoominfo admin certification - a lot of great info there!

Satisfied but looking for improvements

What do you like best about the product?
The two features we used most in ZoomInfo are the list match and CRM integration capabilities. This has streamlined how we pull prospects from ZoomInfo to another tool to contact prospects. We have also just begin using the "Scoops" functionality and believe it will be extremely useful to keep us up to date on out VIP accounts and prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data seems to be messy. We often find that company annual revenues are off by a large amount or that a prospect is linked to the wrong LinkedIn profile. Additionally, our industry is not curated perfectly so we find that health systems associated with educational institutions and whatnot are not tagged well. Finally, the parent and child relationships are often incorrect or missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest problem that ZoomInfo has solved for us is the streamlining of identifying contacts and then quickly and easily pushing them to another tool so we can begin prospecting them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We were already using many other tools before upgrading from DiscoverOrg to ZoomInfo. If you can start with ZoomInfo and then implement other tools and push everything from ZI to those tools, it will save you a lot of it.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is a helpful team for our SDR and AE team to find the right contacts
What do you dislike about the product?
Provision new profiles can at times take a long time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to multithread and find new contact information is the most helpful thing we use.

Fantastic Prospecting Tool

What do you like best about the product?
High quality contact information. There are many tools out there that provide contact information, but I have not experienced any other tool that is as accurate and up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the website can freeze up and it won't register that I transferred contacts over to Engage. Does not happen often enough to be a large concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have established a great prospecting pipeline that runs in the background while we work on warm leads.
