Necessary to Prospect
What do you like best about the product?
Insights into business contacts' direct phone numbers, cell numbers, and emails have been absolutely essential to do my job well, both for prospecting and following up on existing projects. I don't see a way to do my job well without ZoomInfo.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes information is out of date, including people who have retired still listed as working there, or phone numbers or titles being incorrect, but mostly it is quite accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying who to contact and how to contact them is a huge problem that ZoomInfo solves unlike anyone else on the market.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is no alternative, it is hands down the best way to learn who to contact and how to contact them.
Best sales lead generation software!
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo is the most comprehensive sales software I have used in my 20 years in sales. The integration with Salesforce is seamless. It not only helps prospect because their B2B database is constantly updated and the professional contact info is thorough and the most accurate I've ever seen, but the additional features like org charts also helped me disqualify a lot of the database we already had. I am continually learned more and deeper ways to use it for the team. It has made a drastic difference is everything from efficiency and effectiveness to tracking. Highly recommend doing the certificate available for free through ZoomInfo and taking advantage of their live training to get up to speed as fast as possible. It is easily possible to spend all day getting distracted by all of the amazing features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to easily record messages sent through LinkedIn (although you can connect LinkedIn) and the price is high but it is the best. Had to work with different contacts for different features and was sold an old version of an updated feature they have and would have to pay to upgrade it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding and qualifying prospects in an efficient way, updating and enhancing contact/lead information, finding new ways to reach out and engage current contacts and prospects. I could live in it all day it has solved so many problems and made prospecting so much better. We have been able to combine many different activities & needs (ex: Google alerts, SalesNavigator lead searching, list purchases) into one through Zoominfo.

Have an inhouse expert for ongoing training.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo is very helpful for me in finding the best point of contact for a company. The email verification dates give me an idea of who is still with the company, saving some embarrassment from calling and asking for an old contact. I've used the contact info to update my CRM very regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Contacts are not always available for each company. Also, I am not sure if I am just missing it, but a DBA or Parent/Child relationship would be really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving for finding the relevant point of contact with a company, which has lead to increased communication and sales from simply having the right person on the line.

Incredible sales tool for verifying appropriate contacts. I would like to use for prospecting by industry, which should be of interest to most.

The ability to easy locate prospecting info and save searches for future use.

Can take a little time to gather and filter down your searches. Partially alleviated by the ability to save your searches.

Outstanding Research Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have been able to develop BD lists easily. Listed with 90% of names listed are email addresses, multiple phone numbers to reach out to the contact, and the company information of size ee and $$ based.
Also, the various video self help courses to sign up and take to enhance your skills build around your individual needs.

There is a lot to learn to really use this tool in the most efficient manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to build extensive contact and company data from many parameters and the lists are easily accessable. The data allows me to directly contact from multiple points the individuals or companies I am researching. Zoominfo has allowed me to rapidly build a contact lists and distribute the firms information whereas this is much more difficulty with other research tools.

The ability that it can directly point me to those who are decision makers.

I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about Zoominfo. It's such a helpful tool that I am on almost all day prospecting and finding new business.

My favorite part is the building of lists from categories I choose.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have the full experience version. I can see there are a lot of greater insights that a company would find resourceful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to breakdown the barriers with potential clients because Zoom offers a full explanation of the prospected company and their org chart. This allows us to cut right through the door and get to the right person on the first call. Successful! Also giving us similar companies has increased our vision and path of prospects. We are able to get sometimes 7 layers in and still get good information.
Detailed, up to date info better than competitors
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create & save custom lists and drill down into specific categories allows me to get very granular on the best prospects to target.
The up to date scoops info is amazing and is usually material that you can't find on just a google search. The contact info and org charts are accurate. Makes my job as an AE much easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
At times when I search for a company, it would show the parent company or acquirer without showing the actual company. In other words, it appears that companies that may have been acquired by larger companies are not in Zoom.
Also, company revenue numbers seem inflated most of the time.

Problems solving w/ Zoom: figuring out HQ location + employee sizes. Drilling down to specific keywords on scoops.

Great platform. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

It's expensive, but they say you get what you pay for.

It's a challenge to find the right people, ZoomInfo solves this issue.
