I dislike the fact that sometimes I call into a person who no longer works at the company.

I have been able to send out mail merges effectively with ZoomInfo.

I highly recommend for gathering contact information! Quickest way to get valid information.
Decision maker finder
What do you like best about the product?
Finding a decision maker or a gneral contact for a business has been much easier using zoom. Scoops has been a great way to lead into a cold call becasue it helps make it seem like you have more in depth knoledge about the company. I love the intent page to see what companies in my area are searching for. It saves time searching for companies info also and that is huge!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is no info on the business for contacts. It only shows a corporate location, ffor example if I need to look up a subway for a location and want to know a contact for that specific subway it wont show. It only shows the corporate information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding out if a business is at an address or if they have moved. Finding out a local contact for a business.
A very actionable database for BtoB sales teams
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the data, especially in North America. We saw a 90-95% delivery rate.

What do you dislike about the product?
The impossibility to leverage the data in an engagement tool / mailing tool. Our sales shouldn't have to export in xls/csv to leverage them. They shouldn't create them in bulk in the CRM as well, that's just replicating unqualified data.
The impossibility to share tags across a team
The lack of data in Europe especially continental Europe. For a European customer like us, ZI is not enough we now need email guessing solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ZoomInfo we solve the problem of researching for contacts and contacts data. Our SDRs and AEs spend more time trying to reaching them rather than looking for them.

Yesterday afternoon I ran into an issue logging into my ZoomInfo account.
I sent an email to our customer success manager, Elise Fajen at 4:17pm.
At 4:21pm I received a call from Elise.
4 minutes.
It had to take at least 30 seconds to read my email, so we'll call the final response time 210 seconds.
That's faster than Jimmy John's
We were able to troubleshoot the issue and get me right back to creeping on your data!

Nothing. It's a great platform...If you're going to make me say something I'll say it could be a tad cheaper! ;-)

We used ZoomInfo to build out our initial database and now use it to fill holes in our contact and company data while leveraging their intent data.

I love that I can easily look up information on different prospects and companies specifically around changes in companies and contact information. To be honest, I don't know if I'd be able to do my job effectively without Zoominfo.

I think the advanced search can use a little work. It is pretty confusing to dig through the amount of information and find ways to filter through everything!

Solving problems of getting the best contact information as well as intel on companies to leverage when reaching out. I have realized the benefit of staying on top of your companies by saving and subscribing your saved searches!
The Ultimate Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use interface allows me to pinpoint the exact people I am looking to target. You can drill down to the specific position or Demographic you are loooking to target and get high level detailed information on the accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the personal data is occasionally outdated. It is a rare occurance and never poses to much of an issue but it does sometimes happen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to find the proper decision makers at the companies I am prospecting and gives real insight as to who would be a good person to target. I have been able to get more meetings with key prospects and decision makers.

A crucial tool for ensuring clean, reliable data for sales and marketing
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo was able to efficiently correct many years of legacy data that had accumulated in our Salesforce database, cleansing it, de-duplicating and making it many times more useful for our sales and marketing initiatives. And now, on an ongoing basis, it helps keep incoming leads clean and up-to-date as well, so that as we deal with new entrants to the funnel we know we're getting the best contact information available.
What do you dislike about the product?
If your database is large, the initial cleansing will be slow, so plan on accounting for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo has helped to eliminate literally thousands of duplicate entries and out-of-date information from our Salesforce database. We are now able to create highly targeted marketing campaigns through the use of ZoomInfo's job title, job category and industry information; and to engage in real ABM campaigns thanks to accurate information across contacts at companies.

Zoom info/Discover Org makes it easy for me to find data on relevant prospects quickly and simply, everyday.
I can segment the data by lots of filters, save searches and find additional information on company hierarchy, current technologies, org charts, and more that is invaluable to my work in the lead generation space.
Summary reports have proven to be very helpful for sharing information on prospects quickly with AE's and other people within the business.
I can search for either companies or contacts, save account lists, create opp alerts and import and export data lists easily, without any fuss.

Zoom has helped with the creation of data sets, finding DDI's and email address validation (invaluable during covid crisis now many are working from home and contactable exclusively via these means.) . Its also beneficial for mapping a company hierarchy. It gives details of a companies current technologies that whilst not always wholly accurate allow for better flow of conversation on the telephone and via social selling, can bulk out emails and improve conversion rates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For a lead generation/demand generation business ZoomInfo/Discover Org is an invaluable tool for creating new data sets and enhancing existing data.
A dream for and LDR's SDR's, and becoming even more vital during the current pandemic where switchboards are closed and contact infrequent.
Any company not using a tool such as this is working harder, not smarter.
