Good Platform in general, Could use some UI improvements.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that is has decently comprehensive databases for company contact info
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not have many smaller companies listed on the platform. Contact information not always accurate. Bad User interface, difficult to use and even when you know how to use the platform it is lacking a lot of pretty basic search functions and filters that would be very useful. Also when compared with other aggregator tools such as Lusha or Signal Hire, this platform only gives business contact info. I know that is it's goal, but when competing versus other platforms that give both personal numbers and business numbers it is lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to find work contact info more easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I cannot speak to price but I know that there are other options out there that are better at finding contact information if you REALLY need to get a hold of someone. I guess it depends what line of business you are in, but in my industry finding out as much contact info as possible is necessary as we need to get a hold of prospective in a time sensitive manner. ZI only provides business info, if that is all you need then it is a decent platform but not very comprehensive, you will need to supplement your tech stack if you are prospecting high volumes of people.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI was very easy to use and there is tons of contact data (problem is that the data is not always correct). It is also very easy to integrate into Salesforce
What do you dislike about the product?
Quality of data is very low, we had a very high bounce rate (i.e. no longer with company). Their method for gathering data does not seem to ensure a regular update or validation due to the significant number of bounces you will get with your campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accuracy of data -- lots of bounced data. This in turn results in a negative experience with Sales and Marketing Teams ... never a good way to build alignment (or momentum towards positive results)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
be aware of the data quality - i have used it at multiple companies and had consistent problems.
we went back and tried to see if we could leverage other parts of the platform after our contract expired and they quoted us 100% more for 50% of the licenses ... the rational was "well you get DiscoverOrg now ... oh you don't want it ... well it is a great tool and you get it now ..."
That is exactly why we decided not to use them (all sales, and no delivery)

Saves tons of time, but still not 100% on the validity of the contact info.
What do you like best about the product?
I save an incredible amount of time using Zoom info. Everything I need to know about the organization is in one place. I used to 'scrape' emails from company websites and it would take hours. Zoom Info morphed my prospecting time from exclusively email scraping into actual discovery about the organization. In short, Zoom Info has tremendously increased my ability to build my pipeline efficiently. It's like I have an army of BDR's under me!
What do you dislike about the product?
I recently switched jobs and I used Zoom Info to check out my last organization, where I invested 6 years. I found that job titles and organizational hierarchy on Zoom Info was fairly different. If I tried to reach a decision maker using exclusively Zoom Info, I would be 1-2 degrees removed, but still within the same ballpark. Since my work is cyclical, I'm nervous to rely 100% on Zoom Info. If my email campaigns aren't successful in reaching the right people, I'll have to wait another year. Therefore, I find myself building trust with Zoom Info by cross-checking with the information provided on the prospective company's website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving several problems by using ZoomInfo:
-Not all company websites publicly display available contact information for the organization I'm interested in.
-Not all companies use a formula (i.e. first name + last name@company.com) -- some companies integrate a middle initial so there's no way I can reach out to that person

Great tool to expand your Sales Development
What do you like best about the product?
How easy I can pull contacts from the platform. Also, the training and webinars offered in the site are very interesting and beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Account manager sometimes takes to long to get back to us. We had some issues setting up some of the users. Sales person from ZoomInfo seem a little desperate to sell us the product regardless of how interested we where on already being set to acquire the service. Payment/Invoicing was not fully explained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My sales people was spending too much time researching and looking for valid contact information, we used LinkedIn Sales navigator in the past but where not getting the most our of our investment. With ZoomInfo we have been able to save a lot of time and reach out to more contacts every day. We have also been able to direct our attention to new leads and different campaigns with the information we are able to get from the platform. The features of "scoops" and "Enrich" have been very beneficial for both our Sales and Marketing teams. On top of that being able to integrate with HubSpot has been a great advantage for us.
The latest feature ZoomInfo ReachOut has also enable us to still get the most accurate information from our contacts and future prospects in LinkedIn.

I will recommend this tool to anyone interested on increasing their sales and having more effective marketing campaigns. The access to the information you get from ZoomInfo is phenomenal and will allow you to increase the productivity of your sales team.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo Powered by DiscoverOrg is most helpful because data points are easily and readily available in the system in order to better understand the scalability of the account and growth potential.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides of using ZoomInfo Powered by DiscoverOrg is that if you are a person who likes to do research, this will significantly lessen that time. ZoomInfo Powered by DiscoverOrg decreases research time and improves revenue increasing activities. The real cost of bad data = 67 percent gain in revenue as a result of strong data quality standards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo Powered by DiscoverOrg has impacted my work through Correctness & Completeness. For example, Correctness: How many Contact Record fields have critical errors? Completeness: of each Contact and Company Record.

My advice for those looking at ZoomInfo Powered by DiscoverOrg is to definitely make the switch if you want your sales organization to have immense success!

The CSM and AM at ZoomInfo have been immaculate - the level of support, strategic partnership, and guidance towards best practices has exceeded expectations!

Implementation is segmented with different features, has made the implementation longer than ideal.

Bringing new products to market, identifying our ICP and targeting them vs. 'cold' outreach. Efficiency for our sales & marketing teams!

I like the accuracy scores so I can only contact those with a high probability.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you're working in a list with multiple pages, you are always sent back to the first page and must scroll to where you left off.

Able to create excel lists of qualified prospects with good contact information.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can easily get the contact information of decision makers. It saves me a lot of time when I do Sales Development

I dislike the price. You get value for the spend, but it is still a significant expense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes that database is a year behind. I'll search a name and later discover that they left the company a year ago.

If you are taking sales/ lead generation seriously, use ZoomInfo.
Prospecting made easy!
What do you like best about the product?
There is an extension from LinkedIn and Websites and a feature that allows you to export directly into Salesforce. It simplifies the process of finding a lead and getting them into your CRM for outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could easily see all zip codes when doing a filtered search so you can narrow in. For instance I want to see all western Massachusetts companies in XYZ industry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m trying to research companies and contacts and it’s sped that process up and simplified the number of screens I’m jumping between. The alerts bring new contacts to your attention.
