Zoominfo has been great

  • February 12, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Using zoominfo has put me as a salesrep on a new level. It has helped me create a strategy on how I can get into different accounts with the detailed breakdown of how organizations are set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't love is that they don't have a portal that you can give them feedback when a contact is no longer at a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sourcing
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool.

Zoominfo has been incredibly helpful in prospecting.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to export untouched contacts into my accounts. It helps to get people on the phone that haven't been called 10 thousand times. Also it has been great in figuring out titles and roles and getting mobile numbers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to import/export but it isn't too much of a headache.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have very many accounts with 1-2 prospects so it is great in finding new prospects and adding them into Salesforce. That and getting mobile numbers has been huge.

G2 / Zoominfo Review

  • February 12, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo is extremely helpful and necessary for background research + data assembly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Incorrect data on some contact-level items like email / title. The bad data slows down prospecting or makes you look stupid when sending target messaging to the wrong person, or the right person with the wrong title, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assembling a scalable prospect database used to be extremely manual but the sync to SFDC solved that issue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
More complete data will be extremely helpful across the board.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding prospects.

The go to company for getting account and lead info.

  • February 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to find people and information.
What do you dislike about the product?
High cost for corporate-level account. We are trying to save money right now. So it might not be the right timing to use for all of our salespeople.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to do account and lead research for ABM campaigns. This information isn't listed anywhere else.

Easy to use platform, but with a lot of add-on modules

  • February 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use Zoominfo and search for new contacts in the platform. The interface is intuitive and we can almost always find what we are looking for on the screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be frustrating sometimes to learn that many of the features promoted in Zoominfo webinars are not available as part of the core package. A lot of the email promotions and articles are about the product capabilities that always cost extra money and not something we can afford at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoominfo is our go-to solution for contact information. Any time we are looking to get in front of a new prospect or find a better point of contact at an organization, my team unanimously says "check out Zoominfo". The speed that we can find an answer is hugely beneficial.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Now that Zoominfo and DiscoverOrg have merged to be one company, there really is no other vendor on their level in the market. They have the breadth of information as well as database details that organizations can benefit from.

Great source of leads

  • February 07, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful way to search for leads by technology and company type
Can enhance existing CRM data very well with our current platform of record.
Can identify phone numbers and email addresses very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a great way to search for one lead at a time, at least not that I've seen.
Sometimes the lead quality isn't great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation for how to identify companies and targets in a particular demopgrahic.

Fine product but there are cheaper options like LeadIQ, DealSignal or ClearBit

  • February 06, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
They have a lot of contact data including direct phone numbers, and their competitors often lack those.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are other vendors that provide more bang for the buck. I'd recommend LeadIQ, DealSignal or ClearBit.

Also, the recency/accuracy of job title and current company is often poor. Other vendors refresh their data more frequently and/or tie more closely to LinkedIn which helps them be more up-to-date.

The technographic data (for instance the techstack used at a company) has not proven to be very accurate, but all vendors struggle there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we work an ABM strategy, it allows us to find contacts at any company we want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Instead, choose ClearBit, LeadIQ, DealSignal

Logging out constantly - more work for me to do

  • February 06, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Most of the emails are accurate and it integrates with SFDC and Outreach
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to re-log into Zoominfo everyday regardless of if I'm logged into it via Chrome extension for our SFDC instance. Another set I have to do when I'm trying to prospect. Also if you select someone then type in another name into the search it will remove the previous person you selected, so you have to add them one by one. I'd like to search by name and build a list quickly that way while i'm cross examining with likedin sales nav.

Anyways, I go to their support page to talk to a rep about how I get logged out everyday in SFDC and they have a support topics answer bank and NO CHAT for support. Shows their customer-centric strategy....

Phone numbers are right like 50% of the time and they don't have newer people in the org
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding emails and numbers

Strong platform, good data, many product features

  • January 23, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The data accuracy of ZoomInfo appears to be quite good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scoops functionality is not as accurate/good as it was when we used DiscoverOrg. This provides insights into potential opportunities at companies. Phone numbers are often corporate numbers. Account insights are often inaccurate or conflict with reported information on LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for data enrichment, ABM, prospecting, etc.
