What do you like best about the product?
The chrome extension is a game changer. Every time you visit a website you are given great information regarding that company.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where the accounts have old records.

Having to do less research and less admin work to add people.

What do you like best about the product?
Great insights and current updates. The data just keeps getting better.

Nothing I can think of at the moment. I like everything Discover Org has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rationalizing where to begin to enter an account. Looking at who reports to whom and all of the technology infrastructure information at my fingertips is a real time saver.
DiscoverOrg is the essential sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the organization charts and the fact that there are direct/mobile phone numbers and emails for many of the contacts. I also like that the system automatically picks up if I'm searching for a subsidiary of a company and automatically routes me to the parent company page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the contacts are out of date even though the page will say updated recently. Not all contacts include direct phone numbers. Sometimes routing to the parent company can be detrimental as I handle the US HQ of a foreign company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting direct contact information and knowledge about changes in my accounts and who reports to whom.

This is the best on the market for contact info in my opinion.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool to find targeted accounts and contacts within that account. As a territory AE in a niche industry, my targets must be specifically defined and DiscoverOrg helps me identify the targets in my territory more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like the technology builder list is inaccurate. Wish it was more up to date and reliable to build a list on specific technologies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TIME! DiscoverOrg has saved me a ton of time and helping alleviate some of the administrative tasks in finding target accounts and good prospects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend this platform to any sales professionals that are territory or industry based. Before using this tool, I spent so much time trying to find target accounts in a new territory that I had just moved too. Now I am able to easily build a list on my target accounts that fit my industry persona and use those accounts in my every day prospecting.
A Crucial Sales Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the org charts and alerts about new initiatives. Rather than having to conduct that account research on my own, DiscoverOrg offers me a great starting point that is already integrated into salesforce. It allows me to quickly and easy work with new accounts while seeming to be extremely knowledgeable of their business and internal structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the information isn't up to date, but that's to be expected.Also, the org charts are a great starting point but usually are not complete and require much more research.

The benefits realized are mostly just saved time. Having access to this information that is already organized means that I spend less time researching and more time working with my customers.

Buy it. It will make your sales staff much more effective at account research. Also, the contact information is extremely valuable for outreach

What do you like best about the product?
I like the extensive database and ease of use. Once you learn how to navigate the system there is no end to the amount of information you can procure from the database. It's also presented in an intuitive way making it easy to visualize the corporate structure and glean information easily. I also like the many training modules DiscoverOrg has and the way the categorize the trainings by your role or function within your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few clunky processes within the database. There are separate lists for verified contacts and technology generated contacts. There is no option to combine the two and you can only suppress contacts within the verified contacts. This makes creating a complete list difficult and you have to manually remove contacts from the lists you create that include Technology generated contacts. There are a few other examples of these issues but that one is the biggest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm trying to solve the problem of having an unfocused list with which to work with. DiscoverOrg allows me to drill down to the audience I'm trying to target specifically. I realized that DiscoverOrg is only as useful as the amount of training you put in and that I need to do the certification course. There is so much information that can be had if you only know how to look.

Do the training. They will help you get the most out of the product.

What do you like best about the product?
When I have a new target account and I am starting from scratch, I appreciate how DiscoverOrg gives me a quick overview with everything I need to know about the company and provides a host of good lead candidates for me to reach out to.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult sometimes when companies are known by more than one name and those times that I have to try each variation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DiscoverOrg gives me more context about a company, the people who work there, and the roles they play. It helps me narrow down the decision makers who can address my specific inquiry.

Sometimes the information is not all up to date - for example with company head count and tools being used

Provides me with more detailed contact information that I can’t find online

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about the DiscoverOrg data is the rock solid quality. From deliverable emails to direct phones it's all there. When I find an issue and report it, it's fixed within 24 hours.
The other must have for me is Scoops. I set up a weekly report of changes in the titles that I'm selling to and get a report every Monday. It lets me jump on the new hires before my competitors.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive compared to their peers, but the quality far exceeds anything else out there. I have recommended DiscoverOrg to my friends who licensed "cheaper" data since they all complained about the other solutions quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to focus on specific titles within specific tiers of revenue. Also been able to target users of specific somewhat obscure software applications. It would have been extremely costly to create the data myself.

Spend the money. This is one of the instances when you get what you pay for.
