Really great product with everything necessary for finding leads/contacts
What do you like best about the product?
Has the majority of companies you might be looking for, along with a good number of leads. Easy upload to your CRM. Scoops and Opp Alerts can be really helpful in finding pain points within companies you want to target.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a good amount of companies I wanted to target that didn't have many leads or any at all. Some of the prospects you find are outdated and no longer with the company, or have a different position. DiscoverOrg is fairly quick in addressing those issues if you let them know through the red wrench icon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy access to target accounts and prospects so that I can contact those prospects.

Great product, especially now that they've acquired Zoominfo.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the platform is constantly updated, shows the main information I need to know in order to effectively penetrate an account and how the org chart is able to narrow down the search with keywords. Also, I like how I can build lists in DiscoverOrg and import them into our CRM.
What do you dislike about the product?
The org chart usually isn't up to date, contacts have mismatched information/misinformation and there are a lot of bugs with DiscoverOrg. I wish DiscoverOrg would integrate furhter with LinkedIn to provide the most up-to-date information on the org chart. Also, the information on financials and employees may be up to date but the employee mark is usually always wrong or is in a ballpark. What are you doing to fix these bugs? What is your current ticket time response rate? Because there have been 4 occasions in the last year where my tickets were left unresolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting made easier through narrowed down search results. You have the options to add as many or as little specifications for your vertical/market as possible. To add to that, you are able to save that search and use it for later or edit it again to specify your new targets. Even more so, you're able to upload into CRM and get straight to contacting them. Another problem we are solving with DiscoverOrg is that we're able to do the account mapping research with ease and confidence with the correct information showing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
DiscoverOrg is a great way to optimize your prospecting and streamline your account mapping. If you're looking for a quick and easy to navigate forum where you can build out your sales lists and do your research in one place- on top of integrating with your companie's CRM to import all of the data...then you've found your solution. You're taking hours of research and consolidating it into a fraction of the time. Highly recommend to any sales/marketing professional.

I enjoy the scoops feature and the UI. I also often enjoy using the feature that lets me look up companies and employees.

I run into problems with people not being in the positions they're listed as.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy solution for finding most key contacts for prospecting - but I also love the Scoop section, which lists internal initiatives so I can tailor my emails/calls to include such.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the companies are "locked" so you can't access the data. i am also a little concerned about accuracy, but for the most part it seems to be pretty spot on, and DiscoverOrg verifies the data periodically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can't imagine not having this resource. I am a Sales Director and my team and I are power users, living in DiscoverOrg a large part of the day. We have seen success reaching out to all the contacts we've imported, and are gaining traction quickly, which is remarkable. To do prospecting via gathering data by linkedin or other similiar sites would take forever and be mind-numbing. This has made us super productive and definitely will aide in our overall success.

DiscoverOrg Mixed Bag - mostly good!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the filtering abilities of Discover - specifically being able to identify companies in accordance to revenue, industry, company size, and company HQ region (helps when in region specific sales). DiscoverOrg had a great training course that taught me more than just using the platform - it gave me a ton of insight into being a successful sales rep, valuable information!
What do you dislike about the product?
The main and biggest reason I've disliked my experience with DiscoverOrg is the accuracy of data - there have been numerous times that I have contacted a prospect and they currently do not work at the company DiscoverOrg says. On top of that - there have been multiple times that I have called a prospect from an invalid phone number or a number that is no longer in service at that company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business problems that I am solving with DiscoverOrg is identify the best prospects and being able to get in touch with them. First and foremost - being able to find companies with high revenue is very helpful for finding prospects that have budget for what I am selling. In many cases I find the right customers through other means - such as LinkedIn. From there, I am able to look them up on DiscoverOrg - contact them, or lookup the company HQ phone number through DiscoverOrg and get in touch!

Double-check that your prospects are still at the company DiscoverOrg says - doesn't happen too often, still does though.

Sometimes prospect data is inaccurate. It can be several years old.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an inside sales rep, I need to reach out to a lot of prospects. DiscoverOrg has helped me to do that efficiently and effectively.

Ease of use, the amount of contacts in the list and the news updates for each company are all great.

Outdated information, sometimes the accounts listed are too old with information

There is a lot of information on there for companies in the US and Europe.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of things are locked if you only buy a specific vertical and the way they decide what is in what vertical seems to be inconsistent. If you are not in the US or Europe, the information they have for you is limited

We're finding contact information for targets and it can be helpful there.
Getting the most out of your buck!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I feel confident that the contacts that I call, email, and visit are 100% qualified. I know the information is accurate and spot on!
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't like that I barely speak to the contacts I reach out too. I am either leaving a message or emailing a contact. This has nothing to do with Discover org but more of a time issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of finding new contacts and industries to market too. I now have thousands of contacts and companies to go after. I don't have to just rely on LinkedIn any longer.

This is a great product! The quality of leads, the custmer service support, The emails and calls to make sure that one is understanding the product are amazing.
