Excellent tool that saves a lot of time

What do you like best about the product?
The import to CRM function makes creating new leads extremely quick and easy, you just press a button on an interesting contact and in seconds they pop up in your CRM, ready to be worked. The data available is pretty reliable and accurate around 95% of the time (could do with more EU contact data, though I know this can be more difficulty to get!)
What do you dislike about the product?
When importing leads to CRM, the software has trouble with special characters (e.g. é, ü), so that a name like Müller will come up as Mller on the CRM. This can be irritating and you have to look out for it and change the names manually. This happens particularly often for me as I am contacting people in Germany, Austria, Spain etc.

The interface is a bit 90's and could do with being modernised
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outbound prospecting can be very slow when looking for email addresses/phone numbers – DiscoverOrg speeds this prospecting process up immensely. This has given me more time to a) increase the number of prospects I contact, and b) spend more time actively working leads once they are in my CRM. This has lead to an increase in the number of interesting opportunities I have uncovered

What do you like best about the product?
Discoverorg is not just a tool or vendor, they are truly a business partner. I was an early stage Beta customer and have enjoyed a fantastic relationship for many years. This is my 3rd implementation.
My Team: Likes the Data Quality and Business Intelligence.
Myself: Customer Success manager is very responsive, when I need help, they are on it!
7 years ago I needed a Mid Enterprise Data Set, it didnt exist from any vendor. They listened to my needs and built a data set profiling the Mid Enterprise IT segment.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an admin / manager, I don't use all the search functions frequently. If I had any feedback, it would be that at times I find the search feature isn't intuitive. Again, I'm not a frequent end user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an early stage start up and our biggest challenge is having enough of the right buyer persona / titles to prospect. and develop. The new TEDD data set meets my specific challenge perfectly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Discoverorg has the highest Data Quality on the market. Many other features streamline and enable your business. Their customer support and training is the White Glove treatment. Your business really matters to them.

Great product for targeted market

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg has provided our SDR team with direct access to a large number of our target contacts at a high percentage our target accounts. While it doesn't provide every account possible - understandably - the information for the ones there are accurate and effective. The synchronization capabilities with Salesforce are also very helpful. It allows our guys to spend less time with data entry, and more time reaching out to prospects.

The support from the Customer Support team has also been a big reason for the positive experience I've personally experienced. We were a customer of a product that was ultimately purchased by DiscoverOrg. The CSM that worked with us to migrate into the DiscoverOrg system was very helpful, responsive, and built a trust in the relationship which, as the head of sales operations, was critical to enable me to support our decision to purchase DiscoverOrg.

As an update to my previous review, at one point I had some issues with responses to some data quality, once I posted my dissatisfaction DiscoverOrg quickly reached out to see what they could do to fix the problem...and then fixed it. They were extremely eager to ensure I was satisfied and taken care of and that their product was providing us with the highest quality results we could expect.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've pursued accounts that have announced a new project built on our target audience. Unfortunately, by the time we got that alert and reached out to the prospect, they had already gone through their evaluation period and had selected a vendor. The alert of new projects is not helpful if it's that delayed getting to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for information on contacts in companies with accurate email, phone numbers, and titles. DiscoverOrg provides that and has allowed my sales team to be more efficient in their prospecting efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure they include the right types of companies you are targeting. If they do, this is a highly valuable and effective tool.

What do you like best about the product?
For lead-gen purposes, DiscoverOrg has been great! We are able to pull custom reports based on revenue, title, org size etc.

For Client Relations purposes, the trigger reports have been extremely helpful. I have been receiving both vacancy reports and personnel moves for any senior-level executive in the IT industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the beginning, the triggered reports were not working. Thanks to my Customer Service Rep, Jody, he got the ball rolling and I haven't had an issue since!

I wish I had the option to pull detailed org charts for my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thank to the team at DiscoverOrg, we are able to grasp bulk detail and have the most up-to-date info on any senior-level executive in the IT industry.

I've realized that DiscoverOrg essentially does the work for you. We have benefited from the platform in both the lead-gen and client relations space of our business.

I would Highly recommend DiscoverOrg to any organization!

Get your team trained at the beginning because it is a fantastic platform if used properly!

What do you like best about the product?
The customer service experience that DiscoverOrg provides is second to none, we always have prompt responses and knowledgable people availible on their end. The best aspect of my experience with DiscoverOrg thus far has been in the ease of use to access the accurate contact level data and pull it back into our systems with the knowledge we have a expert team availible if anything goes haywire.
What do you dislike about the product?
The typical challenge with contact level data is accuracy, but DiscoverOrg provides the highest accuracy I have seen in the space thus far. The only limitations in their product is the project may require me pulling the data out of DiscoverOrg to work with and then place back into my data management system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use DiscoverOrg for both contact level discovery, which has been the most accurate vendor we have worked with, and ABM Sales training initiatives. The dependability of the contact level data let's us move forward in projects with confidence in the baseline data and never look back, which is something that is becoming more and more valuable in today's business.

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg offers a number of comprehensive business intel features, SFDC integration, opportunity alerts and more. The data is comprehensive and more reliable and accurate than similar competitor's tools. Our Sales team consistently rates DO as a highly valuable prospecting tool and they are a tech savvy bunch. Additionally, the training support and customer service has been exceptional from day one.
What do you dislike about the product?
We occasionally have issues where a user's license isn't set to access all data sets that we have subscriptions to, however a quick note to our account rep and this is always quickly resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our subscriptions allow our sales organization to build business intelligence about target accounts and quickly find new targets within set parameters. Our team relies on databases like DiscoverOrg for more than 50% of their prospecting on average.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that DiscoverOrg has the ability to connects with not only my CRM but our SDR as well. This makes running lead gen campaigns a breeze, coupled with the org charts we know who and when to message the right folks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get logged out or need to clear my cookies /cache because the tool has slowed down substantially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Appointment setting, lead gen sales intell all in a single easy to understand view.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would be nice if there was some way to track activity in sf without importing a lead. Click to call built in to the interface so I could attempt to call out on lists from the tool etc,

What do you like best about the product?

Amazing tool and awesome people

What do you like best about the product?
I love the customer service that DiscoverOrg provides. I don't feel like "just another customer", Ben Croll and I have become friends!! I know that if I have a question or need support, I'll have it within a short amount of time and likely within the same day!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would add, SMB companies be on the platform as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving critical IT problems within the medium and large size markets. The triggers allow us to get near real-time alerts of software upgrades, spend and contact changes within organizations so we can stay up to date and solve problems quickly for our clients.

Great Business Development Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Great layout makes finding data inside accounts easy. Love that the phone numbers for many accounts are direct lines, not corporate lines. Saving a search and subscribing is easy too - to get daily triggers.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the expensive side. Some of the accounts have bad data showing them in the incorrect revenue bands and thus do not give us access based on our subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to identify prospects easily and look up additional information about the company when preparing for a prospect call.
