CloudConnexa is a managed VPN service that suited our needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Price was the main factor that moved us to choose CloudConnexa. The pricing model is unique in that we are only charged per connection instead of per user as competitors do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't speak for Windows but the MacOS client keeps logging me out after a day. There seems to be no way to stay authenticated or make it easier with TouchID. The only option is to re-enter the email, password, and MFA code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a series of production and development cloud resources (databases, Kubernetes clusters, etc.) that we wanted to define permissions for different users. We are able to give only authorized users permission to sensitive databases and keep our development and testing environments out of public access.

A Comprehensive Cloud Solution for Your Business

  • May 03, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
CloudConnexa offers a range of features that make it stand out from other cloud solutions. First and foremost, I like its scalability. CloudConnexa can accommodate businesses of all sizes, whether small, medium or large. It also offers a range of services, including cloud migration, cloud management, cloud backup, and disaster recovery. This means that businesses can rely on CloudConnexa for all their cloud needs.

I also like the fact that CloudConnexa is user-friendly. The platform is easy to navigate, and the features are well-organized. This makes it easy for businesses to manage their cloud infrastructure without the need for technical expertise.

The security features of CloudConnexa are also noteworthy. The platform provides robust security measures, including data encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. This ensures that businesses' data is protected from cyber-attacks and data breaches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although CloudConnexa offers a range of services, some businesses may find it expensive. The pricing plans are not transparent, and businesses may need to contact the sales team to get a quote. This can be time-consuming, especially for small businesses with limited resources.

Another downside of CloudConnexa is that it does not offer a free trial. Businesses may need to subscribe to the service before they can test its features. This can be a risk, especially if the service does not meet the business's requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Managing cloud infrastructure can be complex and time-consuming. CloudConnexa simplifies this process by offering a user-friendly platform that allows businesses to manage their cloud infrastructure efficiently. This saves businesses time and resources that can be used for other core activities.

Cloud Migration: Migrating to the cloud can be challenging, especially for businesses that lack technical expertise. CloudConnexa provides a comprehensive cloud migration service that ensures a smooth transition to the cloud. This eliminates the risk of data loss and downtime during the migration process.

Cloud Backup and Disaster Recovery: Data loss can be catastrophic for businesses. CloudConnexa offers a reliable cloud backup and disaster recovery service that ensures businesses can recover their data in case of a disaster. This provides peace of mind to businesses knowing that their data is safe and can be recovered in case of an emergency.

Security: Cyber-attacks and data breaches are on the rise, and businesses need to protect their data from these threats. CloudConnexa offers robust security measures, including data encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. This ensures that businesses' data is protected from cyber-attacks and data breaches.

Flexible VPN solution

  • May 03, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
CloudConnexa offers flexible way to manage users and connections with their cloud VPN solution. Setting up the users and connections is easy, as well as the monitoring of the connection status. We use it to access remote servers for individual users and sometimes for site-to-site connetion to remote services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Main consern has been the connector performance. Some users have reported that the connection is slow, which might be that there is conlicting prosesses in the local PC. Also the connector reliability is an issue in some cases, for example the Windows site-to-site network connectors have caused unstable connections in some cases. However, it seems that the stability of the connectors has been improving lately. Automatic scaling of the subscriptions would also be nice, although the current model is ok for our business. The VPN is not ipsec based and that creates limitations at time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main use is to secure RDP connections to legacy systems. CloudConnexa improves the security and also offers 2FA if needed.

Simple to use, very fast and secure

  • May 03, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Installation is super simple, for both the service and the end clients. Connection is very very stable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only two downsides are:
* the creation of a virtual machine on any VPC in our cloud infrastructure, but even that is super simple
* EVERY connection opens a new default browser tab to authenticate, and if the browser is closed it opens them. For me, a new browser comes with all the previously used tabs, so it might take a long time to open
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a global company without offices, so we have nowhere to place our own VPN device. The OpenVPN cloud based VPN solved this problem and enabled all our employees worldwide to connect to the same VPN with ease.

    Computer Software

Easy to deploy, easy to manage.

  • May 02, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
CloudConnexa helped us connect to our servers, located in a cloud data center, easily. The deployment process was straightforward, yet the options and features were enough to implement. Besides, security options are up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unlike regular VPN servers, CloudConnexa transmits data between the clients and the servers through some NAT'ted network devices. This is fine for most of the network traffic. But their implementation is not VoIP friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our developers need to use remote APIs hosted on our servers. The APIs are hosted on different ports. Before CloudConnexa, we must manage these connections through public IP addresses and firewall rules. Using Public IP addresses makes our servers open to attacks from the internet. We are now safe and can manage our infrastructure more flexibly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When users connect to systems locked in private clouds we have a single place to mange access with known ips

Excellent cloud-managed VPN tool for remote access

  • May 02, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quick and fast to get up and going
Timely technical support
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of a grouping structure for networks and hosts, which is an important organizational tool when managing access to hundreds of different networks and hosts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to quickly deploy and scale a remote access solution without needing to acquire and/or manage hardware

Easy to use, easy to manage, bang for your buck

  • May 02, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Decent support documentation for common use cases (for example, setting up your own VPN server), regardless of the server's OS or VM provider + extremely easy to enable things like tunneling.
What do you dislike about the product?
No support or documentation for obfuscation. Considering that a lot of companies have people working remotely and those people might be in countries where ISPs block the use of VPNs, obfuscation is needed. OpenVPN does not support it natively and their support will not help when it comes to this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a static IP address for whitelisted access on one of our internal sites. At the same time, we needed a client that was reliable and easy to use, as far as the end-users are concerned.
