What do you like best about the product?
Flosum is a complete CI/CD Package which is 100% native to Salesforce. The time required for the deployment has reduced significantly owing to the smoother and feature rich platform offered by Flosum. With a very quick turn around time, Flosum has the best in class support team which helps us whenever its needed.
The documentation provided for the features along with the release notes are very helpful in deciding our plan of action.
What do you dislike about the product?
* This just works for Salesforce. If you move to any other platform, the entire deployment process goes for a toss.
* Automation of post-deployment script missing. That should be there so that the tedious jobs can be automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quicker and Easy to Understand Deployment process at all levels where even the business executives can understand what's going on.

How Flosum became a chosen one for our project

  • June 17, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
When we started using DevOps for our deployment, we were a bit confused with which tool to go ahead with as there were a number of tools available which promised to solve our needs. There were Copado, CircleCI, Gearset, Autorabit etc all of which were promising to solve our needs.

To plan our deployment strategy we delved into the details based on:
1. ROI
2. Time required to develop the most requested feature.
3. Price to quality ratio

In all of these parameters, we found Flosum standing par from all of its competitions. If I am to speak about the features which hammered my trust with the tool are the Environment Variables which reduces the post deployment time significantly, Partial branch deployment which means you can select which components from the branch you can deploy leaving behind the rest without any issues.
Ofcourse the factor of being 100% native to Salesforce is absolutely a feather in the cap.

Honestly, this is the best tool I have used so far. Thank you so much Flosum team.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now nothing, I have used flosum for more than three projects and no problems I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a native Salesforce tool it has a lot of positiveness which makes ita favourable tool for Deployment

What do you like best about the product?
Flosum seamlessly integrates within Salesforce, eliminating the need for external version control systems like GitHub. Its user-friendly, native Salesforce design ensures a smooth learning experience. The platform is highly adaptable, accommodating diverse change management workflows. The support team is both approachable and quick to assist, enhancing the overall experience. Flosum continually rolls out new features, keeping the tool up-to-date and relevant. It also excels in reporting, providing clear insights into deployment metrics, and code coverage, which is invaluable for management.
What do you dislike about the product?
We currently utilize it for our change management needs and have not encountered any issues so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flosum streamlines our development workflow by eliminating the complexities of using change sets and other non-native DevOps tools. This allows our team to concentrate on core development tasks rather than getting bogged down by cumbersome deployment processes. By providing a native Salesforce solution, Flosum significantly enhances our productivity, accelerates our delivery timelines, and simplifies our release management. The platform’s seamless integration and intuitive design have also minimized errors and reduced deployment time, ultimately leading to more efficient and effective project execution.

Quick and easy onboarding even for our junior developers.

What do you like best about the product?
So easy and intuitive to work with. As a project manager not working directly with Salesforce development, it is easy for me and management to see deployment status for the various environments. The different dashboards allows me to quickly get an overview without having to disturb the developers. Also that is it Salesforce native so it looks like you are working in Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
No integration to Clayton code scan. This would enable a single view within Flosum, instead of having to go to Clayton and open up the dashboards in there. It would be easier for the developers to quicly see if their code contained any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our environments in sync enables us to ensure that whatever we have in production easily can be "backported" to lower environments. Improve code quality and code coverage already in the lowest environment, rather than finding out in pre-production at a very late stage.

While we can build and test changes in sandboxes; flosum allows us to confidently deploy these changes better than OOTB change sets
