Making Release Managers Job Easy
What do you like best about the product?
- It is very easy to use and lightning ready
- Available directly within the Salesforce UI
- Salesforce Users can identify changes using the UI environment in salesforce
- Security is great, do not have to open IP ranges or open up access to your production org
- The possibility to take snapshots and compare file version.
- The best thing in Flosum is Dashboard about the deployments and it navigates directly to the changes which we made
- User friendly and easy to learn
- Available directly within the Salesforce UI

What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe a change in interface to differentiate between Salesforce layout. The overall layout and color scheme is a bit similar to that of Salesforce which sometimes creates a bit of confusion among the users. In order to avoid it, there can be a slight change in the layout, color scheme and the theme
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently there are no as such problems faced. The experience has been amazing with the tool. The best thing about the tool is that the code comparison is so easy which helps deployment faster, efficient, and error free. Which helped us deliver projects in a timely manner and keeping aligned with the organization's DevOps strategy.

We needed a solution because we were doing this all manually - using spreadsheets to keep track of requirements and track delivery to the production org. Way too time consuming. Flosum easily automates these tasks and makes the entire process consistent and transparent.Flosum Combines version control, merging and Deployments made easy It’s just the solution we needed.It is unique product of its own for declarative platform like salesforce crm.
Thats great the deployment cycle looks so simple and efficient also the part of handling the code merges and resolving the conflicts is very useful

Must Have tool for DevOps resource. The painful part of manually solving merging conflicts is now past, the tool handles it automatically by itself.
The ability to integrate itself with other agile supported tool like JIRA, confluence etc. makes it to very useful.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to pay more additional features that are not included in the standard version. Obviously, this is not unique to this company but it's not something consumers will be happy about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flosum is being used to help make development far more efficient which saves time and in turn saves money.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would advise those seeking to enhance and improve their application lifecycle management cycle, give it a shot. Try the demo. See if it fits the needs of your company. There is nothing to lose and so much to gain. Honestly.
Easy to use and fully integrated inside Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
I like the complete integrated solution with Version Control, Merge Editor, Deployment Engine and Static Code Analysis inside of Salesforce without having to log into other tools.
It's quite easy to use and lightning ready! I like that you can integrate with JIRA as that's what we are using internally to track bugs and features.
I like the pull request feature to signal other team members to review code previously we used to have to discuss this during standup.
I love the color-coded changes that quickly show any additions and adjustments in the code.
The conflict detection during merge is a lifesaver that has helped not to release conflicting changes and the ability to rollback changes from deployment is reassuring in case something goes very wrong.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a non-techie, having an easy to use deployment tool is a lifesaver. I don't have to write code just a couple of clicks and I can manage static code analysis, peer review, merging branches and deployment. Something I wasn't able to fully do before.
Well documented support site and videos are a lifesaver as it becomes easy to self-help. I was able to follow the steps in the video without having to contact the support team at Flosum.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will recommend Flosum especially the user-friendliness. You don't need to write any code. Most of the functionalities are quite easy to use and point and click. And the feature video takes you through the steps. When you include workflows and process automation it will save you and your team a lot of meetings for things like dev asking for their code to be reviewed.

Would have to deliberately find one as didnt come across anything to dislike so far.

So far Code Merging and much easier deployment from sandbox to production. Easier for fellow developers to review codes.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to submit and review pull request and comment on the go. Flosum is a very easy to use a tool and a must have for all your deployment needs. The best part is you do not need to move to another system for performing deployments. They can be done directly from Salesforce, which means no additional licenses and no training costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such. It is a very well thought product and solves all the problems coming from deployment process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier we used to use another tool for deployment that allowed us to integrate multiple Salesforce orgs with version control and carry out deployments. But the reason why we switched to Flosum is that it is based directly within Salesforce, which means I do not have to care about maintaining the other tool within my organisation.
Another feature that Flosum allows us is the ability to pick and deploy only selected changes from within a particular component, which ensures that you do not need to deploy the complete metadata file along with unwanted changes in it. The CI process is also great, and has helped us to streamline our release processes very effectively.

2. Really user friendly because it comes with many components that makes developers life easier

4. Since is 100% designed for Salesforce there are no vulnerabilities of data and they are fully secured.
5. Integration with Jira tickets makes it easier to understand the stage where you are as a developer with a certain ticket and basically you have everything under control.
6. Since its Salesforce Native makes it easier to be fully understandable for all Developers or admin that integrate it.

Its really hard to find one bad thing about this software. Its a great Natice Force.com pack that it was so badly needed for all Salesforce Developers and Admin. Big Up for that! :)

Awesome Version Controlling and Release Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It made my deployments easy and faster. I connected multiple salesforces instances and a snapshot after started deployments no need to create multiple sets of changesets. And we can also compare the deployment component with target instance components
