Good Version control and Release management tool for Salesforce

  • May 05, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Branch Management strategy comparing to GIT is better in Flosum. For exam destructive changes, code scan, sync sandboxes with target org etc.

2. Flosum’sVersion Control provides a robust set of quality control features which factor in the concepts of static code analysis, code coverage and user story while GIT is not customizable.

3. Merging and approval process are at one flow and you can easily revert the changes.

4. Most of the companies has opted now for Lightning view. Lightning Interface gives a good and attractive view in Flosum.

5. Secure tool as per Salesforce platform security policies.

6. Enhance the deployment experience by reducing the time.

7. Click not code approach makes it easier to use by Admins as well as developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now we have not faced any issue which these tools cant help in release management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are deploying changes to production using Flosum and using it as version control system to track changes made by developers so that override of code and deletion should not happen moving code from one org to other.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend to use flosum as it provides flawless and fast user experience in version control and deployment.
