If you customize Salesforce you need this product!

  • April 29, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flosum integrates well with Salesforce - Flosum understands Salesforce so it can manage declaritive changes as well as straight code. It also allows the lifecycle management to happen inside the Salesforce platform so customizations are secured by the same security you know and trust.

Integration with popular tools - Tools like github and jira, although not required, can be integrated with Flosum.

User interface - The interface is well designed. It makes it very easy to learn the product, find and resolve conflicts, and increases productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far so good. I have not run into any issues yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce is an incredible platform for managing a sales and marketing business. One of the reasons it is so popular is the ease of customizing it to exactly fit your firms needs. When you start customizing, and especially when you have customizations coming from more than one developer it is very important to have a lifecycle management solution to make sure all these changes complement instead of conflicting with each other. This is where Flosum shines.

Good tool to manage the entire DevOps process on Salesforce.

What do you like best about the product?
Flosum is simply one of the best tools for Release Management on the Salesforce Platform. It is easy to install, configure and user friendly. More features I like:

> Flosum offers bi-directional, real-time synchronization between any branch in Flosum to any other Salesforce org, which ensures code-overwrites will never happen.

> In Flosum, feature branches carry complete information for destructive changes and can very easily visually map the changes for users.

> Mapping with requirements management: With the exception of Bitbucket to Jira, most open source Git-based tools cannot integrate with requirements management systems Flosum seamlessly integrates with all requirement management tools including Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps and Agile Accelerator) and directly maps components changed for each ticket.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is good so far but there should not be extra charges for features that don’t come with the standard version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Greate tool for developers that built within salesforce and helps in managing the code and makes the deployment process faster and easy.

Best tool for simplifying your Salesforce deployment

What do you like best about the product?
Our team has lots of problems while changing sets. With the introduction of Flosum, we started packaging the change from different dev. org and combined various components in the package. Now, we can deploy these changes easily and saving us more time merging our code. This has helped our team increased productivity by 60%.

We specifically use the pull request feature which allows other team members to review code for other developers, thereby giving real-time feedback. It is a complete DevOps solution for the Force.com platform, which provides the solution for environment management, release management, continuous integration, version control, and testing.

It is pre-built for lighting environment which is a big advantage and helps in the end to end application development.

It has all the standard native integrations with Github, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Azure DevOps.

The version control feature has very strong security & QC features and approvals can meet the criteria of large enterprise configurations for all dev tools such as validation rules, workflow rules, and triggers.

The platform is scalable and can handle SFDC instances of enterprise organizations and help your dev. team secure full continuous integration within less time than usual.

It is designed to meet the needs of all SFDC admins/developers and Business analyst.

Net-net is I am contended to implement Flosum in our organization and would recommend it to everyone out there, who wants to protect their code and improve productivity and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative thing is it doesn't provide any functionality to connect the Kanban board. Apart from that, its a great release management tool for all your SFDC needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Code Merge, Version Control, App. development, Continous integration, and other DevOps processes.

All in one tool for release management

  • April 24, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is super nice that it centralizes everything that you need for deployment.
Other than it is really easy to implement and setup, the user experience is also great. Everyone who likes and is familiar with Salesforce Lightning interface will definitely like this.
Moving back and forth between different tools is no longer required. Everything from code review, version control, merging, deployment etc is in one place.
It also gives clear information in a form of dashboard for the information of the deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major. Only I think the user interface can have more branding, look and feel of Flosum.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confusion about using many different tools can be prevented by using Flosum. The centralization brings time efficiency and more productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
Flosum is time-efficient tool I must say. It is like all at one place tool.First of all it easy to install and to configure.
We can perform tasks with only clicks using snapshot to store versions as well. We can easily manage our components like add, remove or delete component.
Easy compare and merge within same window in case of conflict. I can say code Review and merging capabilities have never been this much easier. Even Developer and Admin can use it for deployment with easy steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. Everything is okay till now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using multiple sandboxes and because of this we need to maintain same code everywhere. But with Flosum resolving conflict and merging is so much easier. Now, we do not need to take care of it manually as flosum is there.

Amazing Version Control Management tool

  • April 23, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
=> At the heart of every DevOps solution is the Version Control System, which works to maintain a central source of truth for all code versions. However, in Salesforce, each sandbox is a complete codebase of all the various artifacts including metadata, programmatic code, settings, etc. Flosum is good for that and it is very to install and deploy.

=> Flosum offers bi-directional, real-time synchronization between any branch in Flosum to any other Salesforce org, which ensures code-overwrites will never happen.

=> It provides Out of the box Static code analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. You people are making it up to date and it hardly encurs any issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used it for Release Management on Salesforce Platform.Quick and easy way to Deploy and validate changesets and has a testing tool as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best tool. Must try. Good product for Version Control and Mapping with requirements management
