Super effective and efficient software to fight duplicates
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to merge custom object duplicates is a game changer.
The native Salesforce integration makes it simple to get users to help with clearing duplicates.
Scheduling automated jobs based on your criteria to clean up duplicates is an excellent feature.
Customer support is great!

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing against Duplicate Check, I wish I had found it years ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have eliminated many duplicates from custom objects that had become a massive pain to our user base. We now have regained the trust of users. Everyone loves clean data.
The reference for a clean database in Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
Data flows into your Salesforce database from everywhere. Social media, website (lead forms), external systems , ... and then I forget the manual data entry. Duplicate Check can easily check where there are duplicates in your system, making it easy to merge leads from your website with an existing customer, for example. This small but powerful tool makes you aware of your data quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a link to an ERP system, so data flows directly to Salesforce, and then the Duplicate Check 'checks' that it is not potentially a duplicate. So this setup also checks if duplicates are created in the ERP system (via Duplicate Check in Salesforce) . Convenient would be if there is a real-time API that can send data back to the ERP system, to alert me that I am entering a duplicate. But that's really in the ideal world ...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is indispensable for avoiding duplicates. When using Duplicate Check, our database of accounts and contacts decreased by 30%! That's how many duplicates were in the database !
Detailed and precise once figured out
What do you like best about the product?
Detailed rules and possibilities make it easy to tailor to your organisation's needs. Rewriting all the merge rules takes time but eventually saves tons of time for everyone involved: better data quality and much less work to manually improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
When merging a big batch, even when checking manually beforehand, mistakes are easily made (especially for those of us still learning). For me, it also feels like a black box sometimes when my specialised colleague rewrites a rule, but I do not quite understand how Salesforce implements it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quality of data concerning all our donors (be it private or business), thus improving our reports on the results and making it easier to approach donors using various channels which utilise their personal data. Correct reports on results are also of major importance to track our improvements.
Helpfull mass action and dupe management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Pre sales and on boarding engagement was good, support when needed has been great too. Very useful tool

Fantastic tool that does everything you want
What do you like best about the product?
Duplicate Check is well thought out as a tool, with excellent development and architecture that stands up to the test. It is the first duplicate check tool I have used (and I have used many) that does everything I want it to do, without any fuss. Support is responsive and knowledgeable, and they have great documentation as well. One of my favorite features is the ability to merge records without overwriting any data. You can set merge rules, field by field, and choose to keep all data from any given field when the record is merge. In the non-profit industry, where people often supply different names and emails at events, this is extremely important for capturing as much donor information as possible without compromising data quality through duplicate records. Now that I have used Duplicate Check for Salesforce, it is my preferred tool for deduping in Salesforce, over other big names I have also used, such as Cloudingo, DupeChecker, Apsona, Traction, ZoomInfo, and of course Salesforce native de-duplication features. Part of this is because Duplicate Check for Salesforce is built natively on the Salesforce platform and works seamslessly while also being relatively easy to set up and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not discovered any downsides, but I do recommend taking advantage of your free 30 minute onboarding call with the Plauti team. They will really help you make the most out of the tool, even if you are tech-savvy and have read the documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Duplicate Check for Salesforce is allowing us to bring data from disparate systems together into Salesforce, even though some sources do not contain unique identifiers to prevent duplicates. Duplicate Check runs on API inserts, single inserts, and manual record creation (among other scenarios), all of which we are taking advantage of in order to have a unified view of data across many platforms.
Great toolset to reduce time consuming data cleanup
What do you like best about the product?
The time saved cleaning up duplicate entries and mass editing/deleting records. Direct Processing with cross-object functionality is a game-changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup and configuration can be tricky. Support is available to assist, though. I think the onboarding should be a little longer or perhaps multiple sessions.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy install, easy to understand interface. Powerful matching and filtering. I love the ability to add dedupe actions to flows

So far, I have no complaints at all - but I haven't been using it very long

Standard dupe rules in Salesforce don't allow you to check your entire database of existing records for duplicates. Duplicate Checker gives me an easy way to "clean up" existing duplicates from an inherited system
Handy tool
What do you like best about the product?
Duplicate Check makes scanning for and merging duplicates much easier; the interface is much more intuitive than the native Salesforce tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of - product works as expected.

It provides better duplicate checking than Salesforce natively does, especially for custom objects like addresses.
Powerfull no-code deduplication within Salesforce org
What do you like best about the product?
DC Live allows giving data quality into the hands of our users. At the same time, the manual merge tool allows for precise management of data during merging.
Continuous scanning of our database and the scan-on-insert has proven invaluable in maintaining a clean database, especially with many users and even more records.

While the fundamental functions of the tool are easy to learn, it requires a significant amount of time to have a setup that will work for a specific company.
