What do you like best about the product?
As a daily user and admin, I'm particularly impressed by the user-friendly design of Absorb LMS, which greatly simplifies content uploading, creation, and customisation. It's incredibly intuitive to use. Moreover, the platform grants us the freedom to tailor the site's appearance and structure, allowing us to create different homepages for various departments.

It's integrated into every learner journey, operational training, compliance, new hire inductions. Likewise it works seamlesly allongside our learning design content creation tools

The feature that allows us to craft customised curriculums is a great for learnersr, significantly expediting the process of enrolling users on courses. Additionally, the system's reporting capabilities make it a breeze to generate site-specific and department-specific learner reports.

The depth of information in these reports empowers me to make data-driven decisions regarding resource allocation for learning design. It also aids in pinpointing areas of development for both teams and individuals, facilitating precise, targeted learning interventions and personalised training plans. This, in turn, not only saves time but also contributes to cost efficiency of the business.

The customr support is great, quick to respond and highly knowledgeable peiple on hand to help with queries and really helping us to get the most out of the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor: Question banks are great for pulling a report at a 'Question level’ (What users got correct, what they got incorrect etc). It would be great to have this available for questions that are not in the question banks but are embedded into elearn scorm files.

I.e. After completing an elearn get more detail that pass/fail/score

I’m aware this might not be possible and is dependant upon the Scorm file
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us identify development areas and create bespoke curiculums

We have 5000+ users across five countries and multiple departments. Rolling out and monitoring training to these users could easily take a massive team of employees. Instead it’s became a simple task that the learning designers can do alongside their day to day role. All down to the ease of use.

What do you like best about the product?
We have the ability to provide all necessary trainings to our employee population by using the Absorb LMS. Our account manager Greg Law gives us quick and detailed customer support. We've had a positive and easy experience working with Greg in helping us implement Workday into Absorb. The platform is very user friendly and we have various departments utilizing the admin access which helps us push out trainings quickly and with grace. We are using Absorb on a daily basis and the monthly contact with our account manager is always helpful. Greg keeps us on track and ensures we are achieving the goals we have in using Absorb.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time the only limitaion is that it does not integrate with Google and we cannot use it for our live trainings. However, we have been making use of the ILC feature which has been great in tracking attendance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing us to offer all trainings in one place. It's very user friendly for our compliance training which is of upmost importance. It's been integrated with Workday and LinkedIn Learning giving our users many options in self enrolled trainings.

What do you like best about the product?
Absorb LMS has an amazing team of people who genuinely want to see your use of the LMS succeed. From sales all the way to being a client of theirs now with customer support, they have been patient, helpful, responsive, and thorough. Not to mention, they have a comprehensive library of resources to try troubleshooting on your own first. The learning curve felt tough for the first few weeks, but now it feels easy to navigate, and I get feedback from the learner side that it's very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any smaller company, there are still occasionally things in the code that need to be brought to the developers attention (like a small glitch that shouldn't be happening, but is), however they are always on top of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absorb has allowed us to spend less time following up with the participants of our program (learners) and more time doing other valuable work. I love the automated email templates, and that fact that the templates can be customized. Having an authoring tool within the LMS is icing on the cake; allowing for a one-stop shop for all of our participants' learning needs.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it has been to create our unique use case for our business model. Being able to really build the LMS that works best for our business and having the ability to control this on our end was very important to us and ultimately the reason we chose Absorb. After about a year of using Absorb now - I can say it has been almost perfect for us in every way and we've really built a LMS program we are proud of. The other thing about Absorb I love so much is how helpful and responsive the team is. Even when we have run into an issue or get confused with setup or functionality they always do their best to help us figure it out. Jenny Peters was wonderful at getting us set up and implemented on the platform and since then, our CSM Stephanie Berry has been incredible at helping us whenever we need it, she is incredibly responsive and keeps us up to date on all the things coming down the pipeline at Absorb.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some functionality that I think is missing that would make our lives easier when managing the backend components of the platform. Specifcially, the messaging functionality. The ability to customize messages seems to be lacking a bit and we've even had users tell us they've thought their messages were "spam" because of how bare they look. We've of course found work arounds to make it work for us, but it's increbily manual, clunky, and time consuming to create. Beyond that, I think adding in more options to edit or manipulate courses in bulk would be nice. We have certain scenarios where we need to update enrollment rules for a mass number of courses, and have to go into each course individually to edit these. Being able to simply select the courses we would like to adjust enrollment rules for all together in a bulk apply setting would be incredible convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absorb is allowing us to create. manage, and capture date as it relates to training and educating our customers on our products. This benefits us because 1) it helps us help our customers sell more of our products by providing them training aids specific to selling, 2) is a value-add for our business model to potential customers, and 3) helps us drive brand loyalty with existing customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use admin interface, streamlined and visually appealing learner experience, and powerful course and curriculum creation tools. Love the ability to set auto enrollment rules and build out custom dashboards by departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I've encountered so far is the lack of bulk editing capabiities for changing certain attributes of courses and curriculums. A huge improvement, which is actually under consideration with Absorb's development team, would be to have the ability to bulk change categories, enrollment rules, messaging, etc. across multiple courses and/or curriculums at one time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to deliver role-based training to our end users easily and effectively, as well as have useful reporting that gives us insight into what our users are learning, how often they access their courses, and gives us impactful feedback on where and how we can improve our training materials.

What do you like best about the product?
easy of posting courses and having the system automatically mark and create certificates for attendees

once in awhile the course will get hung up on certian questions, and the difficulty with persons wishing to use the same email.

What do you like best about the product?
Absorb's team is with you every step of the way. I had never managed an LMS before, and I have felt supported through the entire process of getting ours up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a bit more consistency with our team. We were shuffled around between CSMs and account managers for a while, and it was confusing knowing who we were supposed to go to for specific questions. It has started to improve now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a new, interactive touchpoint with our customers that now allows us to get closer to them than ever before and provides us much deeper insight into what content we produce that resonates with them.

What do you like best about the product?
The Absorb LMS is quick to learn and the functionality is supberb when compared to others. Administratively, it makes managing learners, training programs, and certificates a breeze. Absorb LMS provides quick access to data vizualization and running reports is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that administratively, I cannot limit the number of seats in the waitlist. It hinders decision making processes when it comes to seeing how many additional sessions should be created or opened for a particular course. There are certainly a number of improvements I hope to see in future updates or releases of Absorb. The widgets on the Admin side would benefit from having the ability to interact with, such as selecting data points or filtering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've taken a look at the KB articles and also reviewed enhancements other customers are putting out there. Currently I have one open ticket that support and production are working through. This issue stems from certificates not applying to some learners, but to others in the same session. Another issue that Absorb has worked on for me was configuring my Administrative settings to be able to properly create departments and run the all enrollment report. Overall, Absorb provides my organization a comprehensive LMS to better serve our customers.
