Great Customer Services Manager

What do you like best about the product?
We have worked with Melissa Wu, our Customer Success Manager, and it is because of her that our views of Absorb have improved. She's very quick to respond and very knowledgeable. I have actually noticed that the response time from customer support has improved and that people are much friendlier.

Well done, Absorb.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not possible to do a bulk upload of users to courses, which seems backward. There are good enrollment rules but if you have a specialist class, with users from different teams, you need a bulk upload.
You have to pay extra for good reporting in the style of SAP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem is a very negative word. It meets a need.
We need courses, to have user profiles and provide certificates.
It is a bog-standard LMS, and sometimes that is good enough.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at the reporting side, first.

Ask about mass actions.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool can be completely adapted to my needs. It offers a great freedom to the administrators to set it up as they wish, and a simple and pleasant user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not been in a situation where the tool has not been able to meet my needs.
Some of the improvements could be graphical from a user perspective but that is not an issue at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absorb allows for a complex architecture that fits my business needs perfectly.
The tool allows me to create environments specific to the brands of the group in which I work, while creating admin visions that I can parameterize.
It really allows me to propose the content that my company needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Absorb will really allow you to adapt to your needs and those of your company.
In addition, Absorb offers excellent support and allows you to be in contact with referents who are always ready to help.
This is a real plus and one of the reasons why I am so satisfied with Absorb.

What do you like best about the product?
The support we receive to ensure we are setting up and delivering education to our learners in the best way possible
What do you dislike about the product?
New features have taken time to deliver. I know our patience will pay off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absorb is helping us provide high-quality technical education to everyone from entry-level opticians to experienced ODs. This interactive training portal offers free, 24/7 access to live and recorded continuing education (CE) courses and events, and an
extensive on-demand library of accelerated education courses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spending the time to set up the system so it can grow with your organization is key. Setting up learners in departments was one of the keys to success for us.

Absorb LMS is a GREAT LMS Platform

What do you like best about the product?
The Absorb LMS fulfills all of our training needs for our learners. Our CSM Taylor Gormley is a great asset and helps us with anything that we need. Taylor always takes time to explain any questions that we have and show us the best way to do things.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downside- there are a few processes that could be made easier like not having to increase the number of users constantly shown in ILC's when having to enter the user into the single session that was set up as it should be automatic when they enroll but they are solving those issues with the new learner platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to reach learners that need training to uphold their state licenses in many different ways other than hoping they hear about our training platform. We are using our platform for many of our other lines of business.

What do you like best about the product?
The structure. Everything you need is labeled so that it is easy to find and navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability of storing inactive employees' information without paying full price for their licenses. It is not uncommon for the company to have individuals that come back to the company so we want to ensure when they come back we can restore their LMS transcript. However, since there is no guarantee we do not want to be paying for individuals that may not use their LMS spot for years, but there is no easy way to take their data out of the system and load it back in when needed. Instead, we either have to delete it or pay a full license for an inactive user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our LMS rep is currently working with us to get the best out of reporting. With our training department growing, be able to check a learners progress with ease will be critical.

What do you like best about the product?
As an administrator, I find the system to be very intuitive and easy to navigate. I also like the filtering capabilities when running a report.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that once you register a user in the system you then have to go back to enroll him/her in a course. It would be more efficient to have this as a one-stop process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't know if the Absort LMS, per se, solves any specific problems. The team behind the product, however, is very adept at solving problems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend the Absorb LMS to others based on its ease of use and excellent support team.

What do you like best about the product?
Customer service from our CRM Greg Law.
Greg has spent countless hours helping with the admin refresh and demoing the best uses/functionality within the system.
Greg has also helped with our concerns around eCommerce.
What do you dislike about the product?
The file manager has been troublesome.
Uploading a course can be a lot of work.
The Support team is not often prompt at responding to support tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The new Admin refresh will make course uploads/updates faster and more efficient.
It will also remove the need for the file manager which is not secure.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for both the Admin and the Learners view. Video and uploading course content is simple, and tracking is great. Other competitors do have some other features that are better than Absorb (not many, but some), however, no one comes close to pricing per seat. I know... I've checked extensively! Support is second to none. From my account rep through email support. They are quick to respond, call or chat to ensure whatever question I have is answered promptly, which is impressive since I live NY and my rep is on the west coast in Canada, they still always somehow answer me in a very timely manner!
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionalities need to be made easier to navigate, understand and edit. Reporting navigation needs to be easier, with less picking and editing options and more funnel type of creating, meaning, click on the report, get an automatic funnel response, saying something like "What type of report, User or Course" click the one you want, then so and so on to create the report. Also, EDITING THE REPORTS IS CONFUSING!, you have to remember the difference between saved reports and generated reports, how to find the one you want to edit and then figure out how to edit the email list and so on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have thousands of users across the United States and we need a way to track the compliance type of training for each state. We also need to create enrollment keys for self-enrollment into the LMS and have pre-defined courses waiting for the user. We also needed to be able to create expired times on courses as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The two prime things I look at (depending on your size of your per seat audoudnce) are ease of Admin use and pricing. This system is easy enough that anyone with just some instructional design or training tech skills could easily administer this system.
