What do you like best about the product?
Like most LMSs, Absorb can be a bit tricky. The support, expertise, and problem-solving obsession of our customer success rep, Caitlyn Tran, and the Analyze team make working with Absorb a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very intuitive or user-friendly. Limited in functionality compared to some other LMSs, such as Lightspeed VT.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed better reporting capabilities to better communicate our value to internal stakeholders, provide more robust support to our internal clients and team members, and create an easy and enjoyable experience for learners. We are now more efficient, transparent, and innovative thanks to these improvements.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease to use and user-friendly. The out-of-the-box feature that Absorb provides are most useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Auto tags feature that Absorb has is not useful for the users.

Training users and getting reports of the learner progress

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to group enroll multiple users. The ease of access in uploading courses, and the ability to have them active and not active. The ease of access to view a user transcript and the option to upload multiple learning aids including resources, videos, and e-learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more insight into seeing the activity within Absorb in an exportable report, and a more gradient, high detail view of what courses were taken at specific times and by specific users in the report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Group enrolments for multiple lines of business and the ability to generate reports and see completion rates and the ability to send these to business owners is very helpful

What do you like best about the product?
Absorb caters to all required features of a world-class LMS and its learner experience is very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike, however, I would recommend some enhancements to the API endpoints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has become very easy for us to target courses for a specific department and we can easily publish courses and made them available to all organization learners

What do you like best about the product?
The Create tool and the Observation Checklist. I love the support I get from Caitlyn Tran my CSM and the entire support team. They are the best in the business

Compliance Reporting. It just does not work well

What do you like best about the product?
Our CSM, Caitlyn Tran, is very helpful. She helps us with technical troubleshooting and best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absorb can't import email addresses for mass enrollment for people who do not have a common denominator. Or a simple copy-paste of hundreds of email addresses. It also feels limiting that we have to go through hoops to find the perfect configuration for certain courses that need to be renewed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Self un-enrolling is a good recent additional feature as it reduces admins to unenroll users in the backend. They've also enabled custom fields in reporting which makes it easier to customize what we wanted reflecting on our reports.

What do you like best about the product?
Support from Sherrie Luke. She goes the extra mile!
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with billing/finance - this is an antiquated process. The invoice process is cumbersome and too lengthy. We spend hours reviewing them and feel never good about the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ones that I need to get resolved, have not been touched in the last two years. We added them to the suggestion list. The Absorb create tool needs to be updated to do better things! I would love better data dashboards at no additional cost.

What do you like best about the product?
The speed of the Absorb LMS is fantastic. With the foundational functionality, we can incorporate all of our training business rules easily and accurately. We can retrieve any training record, test score, sign-in-sheet, course evaluations, competency assessment, internal and external certificates in six clicks of a mouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only one thing. There is not a function of course equivalency. This is not a big deal. It actually made us focus on creating specific courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to create a comprehensive course catalog, job specific curriculums, and online written tests. This allows us to quickly and accurately report on any employees training progress. We were able to create a digital learning environment. When our employees attend training, they sign out a tablet, log in the LMS, download course material, and complete the online written tests. Our employees have taken ownership of their training and they track their curriculum progress. We are also able to provide training progress reports to our stakeholders in an accurate and timely manner. We are ready for any Federal, State, local, or internal audit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used five different LMS in my 25-year career. I can honestly say the Absorb LMS is the best.

What do you like best about the product?
Our entire Absorb experience - from sales to selection to implementation to launch - was fantastic. Compassionate, patient and knowledgeable staff guided us each step of the way and it was a wonderful experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
To date, there is nothing about Absorb which I dislike. Nor was there anything from the staff which helped us launch that I disliked. Like anything, it will take time and use to become very comfortable with the platform but Absorb set us up to be at that place as quickly as possible. All was just top-notch!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absorb is helping us automate manual systems and better deliver our content and curriculum for students. It's that simple...

Re: contract negotiation w/ Absorb AM/Sales, I would suggest a more detailed explanation of usage fees & how the client will be charged (for ex auto-enrolled vs self-enrolled courses)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Absorb we are making it easier for our authorized distribution partners who sell our products to get trained and better enabled to sell our products. Our goal is to increase training and higher usage of the LMS. Too soon to share the exact impact it has had
