What do you like best about the product?
The staff at Absorb are AMAZING and always there to help answer questions and offer best practices
What do you dislike about the product?
The out-of-the-box reporting functionality isn't great, so you need to purchase an additional add-on if you want to be able to run helpful reports
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a one-stop-shop for all of our trainings and an easy way to track who had completed mandatory trainings. Absorb has made this easy.

Absorb Lifelong Learning
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to customize/brand with our own logo, and organize well courses/content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Okta means having to always reset password upon entry. Otherwise, no issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a central learning hub for onboarding and knowledge sharing, along with content creation of learning for the team.
Excellent platform. Excellent support and onboarding.
What do you like best about the product?
It's feature-rich and checked all the requirement boxes. The support and onboarding we got were top-notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't change the default images on in-system resources - they're fixed as generic grey images. It would be nice to add your own images to these resource cards. Other than that, not much!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company had grown to the point where a dedicated L&D department had become a must-have. And no L&D department is complete without a world-class LMS. Absorb fits that bill perfectly.
The perfect LMS
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature about Absorb is the ability to customize the features of the system, from users to departments to training content. Having the ability to do our own content is crucial.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides is the inability for managers or supervisors to be able to see on their own dashboard who on their team hasn't completed their training. This was a feature in a previous LMS we used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to provide training specific to different departments or partner companies, and to customize those trainings all in the same system is exactly what we need.
Review of Absorb LMS
What do you like best about the product?
The support from our Client Rep has been fantastic. The interface is very easy for our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The length of time it takes to correct some bothersome cosmetic issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issues we had with past LMS's and our users is virtually gone.
Reliable Learning Management System
What do you like best about the product?
Absorb is a robust LMS with a lot of convenient features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absorb is geared more toward institutional learning and businesses/organizations that are looking for internal training and compliance, so the platform is not as customizable for customers who are selling learning content in an eCommerce environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can create custom learner dashboards using our customer's logos and style guides to match their website. This has been a big selling point, as many of our customers are very brand conscious, especially when it comes to onboardig.
Easy to Learn and awesone support!
What do you like best about the product?
I was tasked to manage the LMS when someone left their role. While I had previous LMS experience, I only had Absorb experience as a user, not an Admin. I found it relatively easy to learn my way around, use the online resources, and had live support. I'm impressed by the ease of use and the results. Very easy to jump in and create learning content!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of; it's pretty easy to create the look and feel you need for your organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can track internal and external courses, run reports that can go externally and configure to meet our needs. I don't think we have fully realized potential in the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have experience with LMS's this product will allow you to jump in and get going. If you are new to the LMS environment, it's easy to learn, and there is a ton of support! It's awesome!
Absorb LMS used in Financial Services L&D
What do you like best about the product?
Instantaneously refreshed with updated information, no delay.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overwrite files function does not work, so I always have to double-check the correct content uploaded - this can be inefficient at times as you cannot rely on the system to overwrite the existing files with new info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expanding our learning portal for our partners to ensure everyone is aligned with training on systems, fundamentals (ie. soft skills) and has access to these learning materials.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface for admins.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not including the LMS support personnel (Mathew Roy is awesome), Absorb's ambivalence and apathy towards their client's needs. Definite impression that unless you are a large company, Absorb corporate doesn't really care about you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distance education.

Currently our integration is causing us problems, but that has to do with major company changes at the moment
