Ideal LMS for medium sized business.
What do you like best about the product?
Absorb offers a wide range of functionality and prompt user support. Reports are intuitive. We have had a good experience with Absorb integrating with external HR platforms, such as Paylocity.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that we dislike. Customizations and new features can take a while, depending on the scope. If "Absorb Create" was available when we first signed up, we would have likely used it vice our 3rd party CBT platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Absorb for all training tracking and about 75% of our training delivery. We currently use Absorb to deliver most industrial safety training and HR-related training. Allowing users to sign up for instructor-led sessions significantly simplifies our training administration.

Really looking forward to this next year of product development!
What do you like best about the product?
Absorb does a great job at making a product that feels fun and welcoming to the actual end-users, the learners. It's not overly formal, not too collegiate, and doesn't feel patronizing. It can be hard to hit that sweet spot in adult learning, and I feel like Absorb does a great job of that. Plus, every Absorb team member I have met is friendly and really does care about your experience. Our CSM, Jessica Rae, is so friendly and welcoming and great under pressure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like some things can be hard to find on the admin side, at least in terms of the "less commonly used" items, like categories, or certain dashboard settings. Plus, I always like to see more reporting options. Very excited to start using Analyze, though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can be so hard to motivate users to take their training with a busy schedule, and in our industry, compliance training is constantly coming out and very, well, boring. I really appreciate Absorb's dedication to making things better, faster, and more accessible.
Simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
It's fresh, simple, and easy to use, and I recently transitioned from their legacy platform; being a new user, I was a little apprehensive. However, Cassidy & the team ensured a seamless transition.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I mentioned, I am a new user and have never used this platform before; therefore, I am still learning, so far, so good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because their admin interface is so user-friendly, making it easy for me to navigate & make simple changes as required. Currently, no impacts to end-users

What do you like best about the product?
Overall, our company was looking for a platform to provide mandatory and pre-hire training for our current and future employees. It has become our backbone for computer-based training, instructor-led training seminars, and completing "On The Job" Assessments. The ease of use as a learner or administrator, SSO capabilities, various integrations, and excellent support has made our transition from paper training to the digital platform a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting structure took a bit longer to get used to, we have experienced a few automatic enrollment delays, we wish there were more question/answer types for the question banks/assessments, and while the customer service has been great to us - the length of time to resolve an issue and the shuffling of support reps is bothersome at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously a prospective employee would have to travel to a testing location to complete pre-hire training and testing. Now, we can offer the material anywhere and at any time!
Recommendations to others considering the product:

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completion issues, content issues, enrollment issues etc. I found Absorb's simplicity eas a beneficial trait of the system as it enables an Admin such as myself to easily pinpoint the cause of an issue and resolve it. A simple click or reset does the trick, no more highly technical background programing and coding needed just to fix a simple issue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this tool to organizations who have a lot of reporting requirements since the system has a huge list of available out of the box reports. Moreover, it has a very reliable database system. If the available reports are not meeting the company's requirements, the option of customizing one is always available with the support of friendly and highly competent technical team.
Abosrb is the best LMS I have been exposed to.

Easy navigation, clean interface with ability to include your own branding, very intuitive compared to other LMS', great staff.

No branding option in email comms feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system is much easier for users and reduces the volume of general queries we receive on how to use the system, this has given us more time to create more compelling content.

What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating between courses is challenging for learnings. I do not love having to "enroll" in individual courses within a curriculum. Sometimes it isn't intuitive to the learning, but. this could be our curriculum settings and not abosrb.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to reach a diverse group of learners and recruiting through many different channels. We are providing education that is either NOT provided at all or is provided on a limited basis through health providers. By creating the self-paced curriculum through Absorb, we are enabling learners to take control of their education on this topic. The challenge we have seen is conversion within the curriculum. We have many people who enroll, but see a significant drop off in course completion.
Great LMS
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting is robust and allows you to track what your learners are completing. The gamification aspects with badging, certificates, and scoreboards built right in are a huge plus! The ability to manage access to the admin side is fantastic. The ability to customize the site is impressive. You can make it your own. The support you get is fast and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike. If there is something that you want to be added to AbsorbAbsorb, they are already working on it, or they have just implemented it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of Absorb are that the look and feel of the platform will increase learner engagement, especially with the built-in features like gamification. The problem we are solving is the ability to have robust reporting as well as supporting a few different groups of learners.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to switch to a new LMS, Absorb should be your choice. It has everything you need and then some.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use from a user as well as from an administrator standpoint, I like the logical format utilized for the menu design. It is not difficult to find the function that you are looking for as the most commonly used categories are Users, Courses, or Reports. You don't have to dig under multiple layers to find what you are looking to do.
I also like the bright colors and size of the font on the buttons. It is a visually attractive platform. Pdf documents are able to be uploaded into a course and are able to be viewed as a slide in the course.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think Absorb could do better in the area of Mass actions. For example, there is no way to upload a list of users into a group from a spreadsheet. You need to select them individually if they are already users in the system. I wish I could set a temporary password in mass as well. Currently, you have to go into each profile and edit the profile to assign a temporary password.
PPTs that are uploaded but that are not scormed will have to be downloaded by the User to view them. I wish there were a way to upload a PPT to appear in the main frame of the course without the user having to download.
I also would like to see a folder within the users course enrollments where the "Completed " courses are housed. Currently they are all visible on the My Courses dashboard and can appear cluttered.

We are utilizing the system to store sales webinars to serve as a resource in the future. The ease of the MP4 video upload into the system helped us to start a library of materials.
We have also benefited from the use of the electronic signature as an acknowledgement of our policies within our compliance courses.
