Great LMS with Excellent Support

What do you like best about the product?
The admin features are very user friendly. They have a great support site to answer any questions you might run into as well as an excellent customer support team if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to run into any issues that they haven't been able to resolve for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to easily provide training to our customers. We can quickly upload new courses or update the existing ones to keep things current.

What do you like best about the product?
We choose Absorb over a number of other LMS options because the system seemed much more flexible and more intuitive than some others, and this has been borne out in our usage. It is a big system but once you understand the navigation (of the admin side), it is very easy to generate reports and manage courses and users. From the user point of view we have had overwhelmingly positive feedback; it is a very easy system to use, and Absorb are always making improvements to the UX of the system.
We linked our Absorb system to BambooHR and despite a few small hiccups during installation (teething problems as we were one of the first customers to use the integration) it works really well. User information in Absorb is populated by BambooHR so we can stay up-to-date with staff changes, and training records are updated on the user's BambooHR profile, so line managers have easy access to completed training records.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to say there isn't much to dislike. I think the initial set up of the system could have been better but I think this is more to do with the person we were dealing with than an intrinsic issue with Absorb; all other dealings with people at Absorb have been very productive.
There are a few user and admin features that would make life a little easier but these a minor inconveniences, and Absorb are very welcoming to any ideas that they might be able to add to their road map for future development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We went with an LMS so that we could free up learning to be point-of-need rather than trying to organise sessions on a regular basis. Learners being able to access courses in their own time has freed us up as L&D to set up "classroom sessions" as Q&As and refreshers rather than information dumps, and this has improved engagement. Absorb has become an important tool that is used everyday.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very intuitive. Highly customisable.

What do you like best about the product?
Overall, Absorb LMS has been great. The ability to create custom learning paths using curriculum has simplified and streamlined our training.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has been nothing that I dislike up this point. Overall, the support and experience has been positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to replace our binder training program using Absorb. It allows us to track learner progression throughout the training, test knowledge using quizzes, and easily create custom reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to have on demand solutions to problems and questions that I have by utilizing Absorb Academy as well as the Absorb support site which has Informative articles and FAQs. If I am unable to find the answer that I am looking for, submitting a ticket is an easy process and it is answered in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionality could be better, the way that "Answers reports" are generated are not very user friendly. It would be better if these reports could be generated by each users response and not by question order.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system allowed for custom branding which provides a more seamless transition into our training courses and navigation through the training courses is simpler and less confusing for our users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just ask questions and tell them what you want and need to be able to do. Our on-boarding team at Absorb went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met.

Great Full Featured Learning Management Package with Excellent Flexibility & Expandability

What do you like best about the product?
The environment provided to load my courses is flexible, while having a great base structure with lots of default features. With the Mercury module, we are able to create a look at feel that is unique for different client types. As mentioned below - I love the ability to categorize the courses into curriculums, groupings, and departments all while being able to customize the rules and management of each. This helps with managing users.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, we have not any issues with using or administering the LMS. I encountered some mislabeled image sizes when setting up or custom billboards which caused me to have to figure out the actual size. Otherwise our images looked stretched.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to offer different curriculums with ease as well as report off of client activity and provide access to that reporting to managers. We are now implementing the purchasing of courses which is built in as an option in the system. We are saving time on setting up and managing clients. We have also been integrating the Absorb quiz feature within our courses to replace our exams built into our courses to solve the issue of incompatibility of different devices and browsers.

Good software for a customized LMS

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to add a course and to then make edits/changes to that course to send to our employees
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating employee records quickly such as manager or location changes

We are able to train employees at all of our office locations instead of having to travel to locations to train

Solid LMS for Corporate Use

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of building courses and managing users as an admin is fantastic. It takes no time to create a new course or train a new team member on how to use the back end of Absorb.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few quirks that make things more difficult than they need to be. For instance, you can not set permissions for folders/categories, you can only set them for individual courses and resources. Also, most availability rules are only inclusive rather than inclusive and exclusive. Another example is all Resources and Catagories are ordered alphabetically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to provide comprehensive training and just-in-time learning for our team members. We've significantly reduced the time our trainers need to spend with new sales users since implementing Absorb.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is very intuitive and easy to use. The filtering tools and ability to add/delete columns is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some filtering tools that I would like to see added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can have all subsidiary companies use the same training and the reporting tools are excellent for tracking and audits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Absorb will streamline how you track training and make audits so much easier. Once you have a course built it's easy to duplicate it and create more!

What do you like best about the product?
It is reliable, flexible (especially the interface of the New Learner Experience). Customer service is great: quick and I always get all the information I need to resolve my questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
For my usage of the platform, what I dislike are the fact that users can't unroll by themself to courses they enrolled (when they made a mystake)... and the HTML is very, very, very bad: even when I try HTML 5 coding, a lot of coding is not kept save by the platform. Even my webmaster who helped me to upgrade to the New Learner Experience agreed with me that the HTML editor included in Absorb is weak.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our clients are physicians who could work day, evening or night. Elearning is a great option for them to continue their professional development.... and Absorb is reliable: I don't remember that we had technical issues important enough to no allowing our users to access the platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very satisfied with the product and the customer service.

A clarification: our organisation is around 50 employees, but we do provide training solutions to the 10,000 members of our Federation.

What do you like best about the product?
Course admin and setup is intuitive and easy to train new team members on. It's also awesome to be able to brand the LMS. End users don't know "Absorb" they know "N2 University".
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a little more control over the way courses and resources display (only in alphabetical order). The search feature in the Catalog needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to roll out training to a sales force across the country easily and quickly. Our sales users who complete their training in Absorb become profitable about 30% quicker if they use Absorb. It has greatly reduced the time we need to spend training the sales force through one-on-one phone calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A great choice if you want to brand the interface. Easy to use as an admin and simple to set up.
