What do you like best about the product?
Customer Service, User-Friendliness, Easy to use and makes onboarding simple for learners. Consistent growth
What do you dislike about the product?
At times lack of connectivity/uniformity between the main LMS and add-ons such as Create, Engage, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing uniform messaging and training to our employee based in a succinct and efficient manner while also obtaining data and scores for a consistent feedback loops.

Great Platform, Excellent Implementation

What do you like best about the product?
I think Absorb is a great platform. It's easy to use and has capabilities beyond what we had originally scoped. The implementation process was fantastic. Lis, our IPM, was incredibly helpful and patient as we learned how to use the system. She also was able to cater the process to our specific needs, while making sure we had the necessary info in case there were changes down the road.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there is an opportunity for more design choices for the Learner Portal. It might also be helpful to have the option to hover over some of the portal settings to explain what they are rather than reviewing the notes. But it has not really held us back since we had such in-depth training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not only are we able to have some in person trainings move to online, but these trainings are now able to be referenced by our employees. We also have external trainings that we can link to in order to keep all of our certifications in one place. The portal will also serve as a platform to communicate with our staff.

What do you like best about the product?
The Absorb LMS stands out for myriad reasons, but what captivates me most is its unwavering commitment to user experience. Be that experence through a computer or mobile device. We have had over two thousand users access Absorb over the last year and have had wonderful feedback across the board.

Seamlessly navigating through its interface feels like a breeze, making learning and managing courses effortlessly efficient. I access Absorb daily from multiple devices and it has never felt clucky or outdated. Their interface is as modern and efficient as it comes.

The worry-free integration ensures that incorporating Absorb into existing systems is a stress-free affair, allowing for a smooth transition without hiccups. This is coming from a person who’s previous LMS didn’t provide a final export and had to map data manually and with the support of our Success manager Greg and our integration specialist Ajith, still managed to have our system up and functional with in the month.

Its treasure trove of features caters to every educational need imaginable, from comprehensive analytics to customizable learning paths. This cannot be stressed enough, just the learning libraries create such an impact in the way that we are able to offer continuing education to out learner. This paired with the ease and convenience of the create function make course development a breeze allowing us to truly produce quality targeted training to support our company culture of continued learning.

Yet, what truly sets Absorb apart is its unparalleled customer service. Prompt, attentive, and genuinely invested in resolving any concerns, their support team ensures that every interaction is not just satisfactory, but exceptional. The team possesses the knowledge and drive to really make any vision of what you have for your LMS a reality. Not once has the team backed down from a challenge. If they don’t have the information you need, they will put in the effort and time to fins the solution.

With Absorb LMS, the journey to empowered learning is not only enriching but also backed by unparalleled support that doesn’t end at purchase and integration, but throughout your life with the company. I don't think it is a question of if you should use Absorb, but a question of what's taking you so long to make the switch.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is honestly a question that I'm not sure I have an answer for. The only thing I can think of is when searching users, you must input three character to initiate a search, but with users who have names less than three characters that can become an annoyance.

But any other concerns or issues I have been remedied through updates and feedback provided by the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From tracking employee progress to generating comprehensive reports, Absorb simplifies compliance management, offering peace of mind to organizations facing stringent regulations. But what truly sets Absorb apart is its seamless integration with record-keeping systems, making it a breeze to provide necessary documentation to regulatory entities.

Great service through implementation

What do you like best about the product?
David McDonald was the Absorb rep that led us through the implementation process. He was awesome, attentive and responsive to my millions of questions. He knows the product well, but was always willing to find the right answer if he ever didn't & get back to us in a timely way. Excellent support.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were under the understanding that the excellent support would continue after we rolled the system out. To be clear, they are available 24/7 for technical problems (not best practices for functionality questions), but they are slow to respond and issues have hung out there on several occasions until they are no longer worth figuring out. Also, we have run into a handfull of technical problems since implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing us to track attendance, have reporting on training status, follow up easily and it's helping us to create SCORM style trainings. It's allowed us to much mroe effectively roll out training in an e-format.

What do you like best about the product?
As simple as it sounds, it is really easy to use! For both the learner and the admin. It's intuitive, well laid out and does exactly what it says it will do (which isn't always the case with LMSs . . .)

The functionality is impressive . . . Absorb have really covered all bases, no matter how you are using the LMS to engage learners.

And the reporting is amongst the best I have seen in an LMS. It is clear, easy and very easy to adapt to your own reporting needs.

Finally the customer support provided by Absorb is excellent. Timely, thorough and supportive.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. What I do find is I don't have the time to really explore all the functionality as much as I would like to!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workforce development in the Tourism and Hospitality industry has never been more important. Post pandemic all sectors of the industry have struggled to recover, with recruitment, retenetion and customer expectation.

Being able to provide targeted, just in time training has been instrumental in supporting those who work in the industry as well as other service sectors.

User interface and the Absorb Create function.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the Absorb course builder section I'd like to see more developer integrations added alongside SCORMs and TinCan etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absorb LMS is part of OCN's digital learning strategy initative and has been implemented to help bring the organisations digital learning infrastructure into digital transformation 2.0. Absorb LMS serves to keep OCN's digital learning offerings up to date and in full complianace with WCAG 3.0.

What do you like best about the product?
Daily integrations downloads for users and Managers
Automatic rules of enrollment and reenrollment
Development of user-friendly dashboards using Analyze
Catalog courses self enrollment for the Learners
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration of courses from old system to the new system was difficult as we had to enter all the different attributes et load content all manually
Basic reports not functional enough to have all the information multi courses enrollment/ multi users for example
The admin portal does not have all the terms well translated in French for instance
Project Planning to implement should follow the client project schedule. It is an imposed project plan from Absorb.
The training of the Absorb platform for the admin was not appropriate. We had to test it out ourselves to understand the behavior
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manual enrollment by the LMS admin team. Different roles can enroll with Absorb for their group. It lightens the work for the LMS System admin. More responsabilities are given to the right roles and Managers.

What do you like best about the product?
For my role, what I have most helpful is the ease of bulk enrolling Associates into multiple courses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier to change multiple settings at once, rather than having to go one by one at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us effecitively provide learning opportunities for our Associates.

What do you like best about the product?
We make tremendous use of Absorb for a large staff team (10,000 + users). We store and host a fair amount of multimedia on their platfrom to facilitate our training program.

The customer support is quick to respond and search for a resolution to any issues we have.
What do you dislike about the product?
On one hand, it's a very robust system where I can look through our users and courses in many different ways, and pull many different kind of reports. On the other hand, I find the system feels almost 'over-engineered' at times, with so many parameters it can often be deterring for our newer sub-administrators to use Absorb effectively, or they are simply too intimidated by the scope of it.

I find the question banks/quizes functionality difficult at times. If I delete a question in one of our banks, it will 'break' all the completions of a course that holds this question bank inside. Difficult to manage an ever growing number of different questions and banks.

I also wish it was easier to see all my questions/answers at the same time, or be able to export this data in a .csv file easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to reach a large portion of users and administrators with a variety of courses and materials. Absorb allows us to do all of this in a one stop shop.
