A useful and convenient tool
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the generated surveys and the fact that they do not deter people from filling them out by their form.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't noticed anything specific that is worth mentioning
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to measure satisfaction with various aspects of our processes used during software development. We use this to determine areas that need improvement and to assess whether the changes made during the past quarter have resulted in actual improvements.
I liked DX as it provided very valuable insights that can also be measured against our sector across

Amazing tool for Engineering Intelligence
What do you like best about the product?
The DX platform is incredibly helpful for tracking and improving our team's performance. We use it daily to monitor key metrics, spot trends, and quickly identify areas where we can do better. It gives us a clear, real-time view of our progress, making it easier to stay aligned and make informed decisions as a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don’t have anything to complain about the tool. It’s reliable, easy to use, and does exactly what we need. Everything works smoothly, and it consistently meets our expectations without any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DX is solving the problem of visibility and alignment across the team. It brings all the key data into one place, so we don’t have to waste time searching for information or relying on outdated reports. This helps the whole team understand how we’re performing, where we can improve, and how to stay aligned on our goals. It brings more clarity, less guesswork, and greater confidence in the direction we're all heading together.
Over 95% Engagement—Enough Said
What do you like best about the product?
I’m genuinely a big fan of GetDX—it’s been a game changer for how we think about developer experience. From the start, it was incredibly easy to implement. Everything worked right out of the box with just a few clicks—no hassle, no setup headaches. I honestly can’t remember hitting a single issue during rollout. And whenever we’ve had questions, their support has been amazing—quick to respond and always full of helpful insights, often going deep into our own snapshot data.
We don’t use it daily, but we run quarterly check-ins, and that rhythm works really well for us. The surveys give us a clear, reliable pulse on how the team is feeling, while the newly added data tools take things to the next level. Together, they allow us not only to understand sentiment, but also to validate assumptions, raise hypotheses around efficiency or friction points, and actually verify them with data. That combination has been incredibly powerful for driving more informed, evidence-based improvements.
The data is simple to understand but genuinely insightful. It’s helped us structure our processes better, uncover blind spots we didn’t know we had, and—most importantly—have meaningful conversations backed by real signals rather than gut feeling.

What do you dislike about the product?
Today, DX shows you what is happening very clearly. It would be incredibly valuable if it also helped teams answer why it’s happening and what to try next, in a more personalized and context-aware way. That kind of guidance would make the insights even more actionable, especially for teams that don’t have a dedicated DX or productivity function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us surface blind spots and collect honest, unbiased feedback directly from engineers—something that’s often hard to capture in day-to-day work. The triage process that follows allows us to prioritize the most impactful items and actually turn insights into action. Every quarter, we use it to benchmark our progress and check if the efforts we put in are paying off.
One of the big strengths is how it combines technical data with survey feedback. That mix helps us validate assumptions and see the full picture. It also highlights gaps between teams, which opens up opportunities to share knowledge and support each other. If one team is doing particularly well in a specific area, we can learn from their practices; if another is falling behind, we know where to lend a hand. This kind of visibility not only drives individual team improvements—it helps us raise the overall bar across the entire engineering org.

Exceptional Engineering Analytics Platform - A Major Upgrade from Swarmia
What do you like best about the product?
After switching from Swarmia to DX earlier this year, I can confidently say this was one of our best tooling decisions. DX is head and shoulders above Swarmia in every aspect that matters - functionality, insights, and speed of development.
What's particularly impressive is their development velocity. In just the few months since we started using DX, they've rolled out numerous new features that directly address real-world engineering challenges. This isn't a stagnant tool - it's actively evolving based on user needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing not to like with the product. The pricing could be more competitive but we think it still represents value for money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform strikes an excellent balance between performance tracking and creating genuine channels for engineers to share their perspectives. Unlike other tools that can feel overly surveillance-focused, DX manages to provide valuable metrics while maintaining trust and transparency with development teams.
Great developer productivity platform
What do you like best about the product?
- it combines both qualitative and quantitative metrics
- it's very configurable, both in connectors to internal systems and in visualisations
- it explains why some metrics are important
- very easy to use and set up, their support people are great

What do you dislike about the product?
- the rating system is not yet ideal for the survey, the score number is a bit arbitrarily translated from the five possible options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A unified view across all teams on where we are at and what we perceive to be our biggest problems.
Good UI and provides insight of what's happening in the tech industry
What do you like best about the product?
The app is very user friendly, easy for me to use it and provide feedback whenever I was requested my DX feedback to the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I have anything that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives the overall insight of what is going on in the industry, my departments with others in the company in general, and also compares the developer experience from the company with the top ones and see where we are at. Allows us to focus on what to improve.
Great way to gather team feedback and make plans for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great way to get an entire engineering teams feedback in one place. The categories are great and meaningful to an engineers daily workflow. I have enjoyed being able to see others feedback on different areas that I may not have thought about in my daily flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is when it is not used. Engineers will take the time to provide feedback but that only does so much if no action is taken from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting a single place to gather feedback from all of our engineers. It also helps us keep track of areas in the past that we have tried to improve and where they currently stand.
Ease of integration with external tools
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of integration with external tools. From an administrator perspective it literally took a few clicks to setup an integration with Gitlab and Gitlab-pipelines.
The online documentation is very informative and easy to navigate to.

What do you dislike about the product?
From my point of view I did not find any downsides. A few hiccups along the process of integrating our systems were quickly addressed by the team and a solution was implemented really fast
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Judging from the reports we are using DX software to help us identify bottlenecks in order to deliver our product faster and be more efficient in our day to day activities
