Saves Time Upfront and Helps Anchor Future Conversations
What do you like best about the product?
Saving a ton of initial time in evaluating + helping teach best practices for next conversations
What do you dislike about the product?
The team is not as fast in certain instances. Would be great to get more granular in communication (meeting scheduled, done evaluation will follow up in certain amount of time, prelim results, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving a lot of time upfront evaluating solutions across a broad spectrum and negotiating
Convenient, User-Friendly Platform with a Great Interface

The convenience and user interface of the platform

I wish there was more workflow functionality / room for integrations with other platforms

Saving costs, Negotiating with 3rd parties, Building a more convenient system that builds security/ data compliance review more fluidly into the procurement process
Vertice Goes Above and Beyond in Contract Negotiations
What do you like best about the product?
Vertice are super helpful when it comes to contract negotiations. They always listen to what it is we require and always go above and beyond to meet those requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Them being SaaS only! It would be great if they could work on non-SaaS contracts too
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertice has helped us achieve cost savings through our contracts with SaaS suppliers, and those cost benefits have allowed the business to invest in other areas.

Expert SaaS Team and an Easy-to-Manage System
What do you like best about the product?
The team is really well versed in the specialties required in SaaS, and the system makes it very easy to manage everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial rollout communications were a bit slower than I would have hoped, but we got there in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for reviewing contracts, and it has helped me save money.
Feels Like a Full-Time Procurement Department
What do you like best about the product?
It acts like a full-time procurement department.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that savings are shared instead of staying 100% with Empire.

The team is very responsive and friendly, and I appreciate having automatic savings.

Dislike that there are certain requirements to use them even if we may not need to.

Centralized Collaboration, but Receipt and Bill Management Needs More Granularity

I appreciate Vertice’s centralization and collaboration capabilities.

I dislike the limited level of granularity available for managing receipts and bills.

Helpful Benchmarking Data and Strong Support for Vendor Negotiations
What do you like best about the product?
Vertice provides helpful data to benchmark against and their team is pretty helpful in leading vendor negotiations
What do you dislike about the product?
I do still believe that I can negotiate better deals in certain circumstances

Vertice is helping us optimize our SaaS spend by evaluating numerous providers and negotiating the best price & terms once we are ready to make a selection
