Sophos MDR - Secure & Robust Defense
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of implemnetation and number of features bundleded help tremendiously , we also enjoy excellent customer support and found the solution easy to integrate and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the price point , i think some consiederation should be given to the cost of MDR.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
As a small IT team, we don't have dedicated resource to proactively hunt for threats and respond to issues. With Sophos MDR, we have that resource monitoring 24/7.
We were already using the Sophos InterceptX product and the MDR add-on has been the perfect fit. We opted for the managed onboarding which assisted with very detailed installation and familiarisation sessions for what is an advanced product under the hood.

What do you dislike about the product?
False positives can build up but the community boards are great places for understanding the mechanics behind these.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps solve the problem of having no dedicated sec-ops team

Sophos MDR helps organizations strengthen their cybersecurity defenses, mitigate risks, and respond effectively to security incidents ,also Sophos MDR assists organizations in meeting regulatory compliance requirements and managing cybersecurity risks effectively and Sophos MDR helps identify sophisticated threats that may evade traditional security measures. By leveraging advanced analytics and threat intelligence, it detects and mitigates threats in real-time, reducing the risk of successful cyber attacks.
24x7 MDR Creates Ease Of Mind and Security Posture
What do you like best about the product?
We don't need to staff our own SOC. This saves us time and money.
We have a level of insurance in the event of an incident.
We have ease of mind knowing that our network is being watched 24x7.
We get monthly reports on the health of our endpoints.
Implementation was simple. We didn't even have to do anything.
Response to suspicious activity is immediate and we are informed quickly.

Some of the investigative tools in the console can be convoluted.

Sophos MDR and NDR
What do you like best about the product?
Easy access to a professional SOC team. It will not be possible to have a 24 x7 SOC team in house so having MDR is a piece of mind for all IT heads.
What do you dislike about the product?
None. Just wished there was a single onboarding manager to cover all elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A 24 x 7 managed security detec and response team for all security needs. It works well with a Sophos firewall solutions, Sophos anti virus and NDR solutions together so they cover all elements.

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos MDR is easy to implement and offers a wide range of integrations. Dashboards and reports provide reassurance and MDR support is exceptional, both in proactive monitoring and in explaining difficult to interpret telemetry. MDR Complete is easy to use but also provides the flexibility to allow you to generate your own investigations whenever something takes your interest.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations generate additional cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MDR solves the issue of out of hours monitoring and fills security skills gaps.
Professional Threat Hunters Bolster Security Alert Responsiveness
What do you like best about the product?
A competent algorithm and team reviews alerts 24/4 that would otherwise be overlooked.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard is spammed by false-positives and uneccessary stuff, that we can not prevent from popping up
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did not have a full coverage of alert reviewing and were also not able to rate all alerts accordingly. Sophos saves us a huge amount of time that we can spend securing the network on other ends.

the managed threat detection is second to none, its has 24/7 coverage and was really easy to move to. The staff support is fantatsic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be improved, so better infomation can be considered.

the fully managed service is keeping my nextwork uses safe and we a regually spammed and at the threat of malware.

About Sophos MDR what i liked most is the 24/7 Threat Monitoring and Response, that provides a Continuous, that ensures the potential threats are identified and addressed promptly, minimizing the risk of undetected breaches.
Also the Expertise and Support of the team of skilled security analysts who provide expert guidance and support, the Advanced Threat Detection that uses a sophisticated technologies and machine learning to detect advanced and emerging threats, Proactive Threat Hunting that engages in proactive threat hunting to identify and neutralize threats before they can cause significant harm.
