A powerful tool to truly understand user behavior and optimize customer journeys
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Contentsquare is the depth of behavioral insights and the very visual way it helps understand user experience.
The heatmaps, session replays, and especially the journey analysis make it easy to quickly identify friction points, drop-offs, and engagement drivers.
The platform goes far beyond traditional analytics by providing a strong qualitative understanding of user behavior. The dashboards are very comprehensive, and features like Sense AI save a lot of time by automatically highlighting optimization opportunities.

Contentsquare is extremely powerful, but it can feel complex at first.
There are a lot of features and metrics available, which can be a bit overwhelming for new users. A proper onboarding or training phase is clearly needed to fully leverage the platform.
Some advanced analyses also require time and setup to become truly relevant.

Before using it, we mainly relied on quantitative data such as conversion rates, bounce rates, and clicks, without clearly understanding the root causes.
With Contentsquare, we can:

What do you like best about the product?
I like the pages mapping feature, along with the user journeys and dashboards that Contentsquare offers. The dashboards are very visual and help me compare user behaviors after changes are made on the website. I also appreciate the super smooth setup with good onboarding from the team, plus having a champion in our team made it even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have an AI bot with which I could chat to understand my users' behavior better, not just in general.

I use Contentsquare for user behavior knowledge and experience analysis. It offers pages mapping, dashboards, and user journeys that are very visual, helping me compare behaviors after website changes.

What do you like best about the product?
Contentsquare's ability to visualize actual user behavior through heatmaps and session replays. This allows me to quickly identify friction points and move from hypothesis to action with concrete data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The export and manipulation of raw data sometimes remains limited, which complicates cross-analysis with other data sources (like Piwik Pro in my case). More flexibility in APIs and custom exports would be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Understand the "why" - Traditional analytics show that there is a problem (high bounce rate, low conversion), but not why. Session replays and heatmaps reveal exactly where users are getting stuck.
2. Identify specific frictions - Path analysis and zoning allow me to locate abandonment points in conversion funnels and prioritize optimizations with high business impact.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the versatility of the tool and the complementarity between its different features. It allows us to have both data on behaviors, navigation, as well as on the technical specifications of our site, etc. This way, we can detect a problem, but more importantly, understand the reason for it, and then know how to solve it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main disadvantage, in my opinion, is that the tool is subject to consent and therefore does not allow access to all quantitative data, unlike Adobe Analytics, for example.

ContentSquare allows us to observe in detail the journeys and interactions of users on our site. This highlights the most ROI-driven journeys, as well as the behavioral changes on which we need to focus more.

I really like Contentsquare's very intuitive and easy interface. There are also lots of educational materials, which help to get on board quickly, and you can get into as much detail as you want or stay at a high-level view. It's great that different parts of our team can use it without needing to be data analysts, and it's always clear and visual, making it easy to share with stakeholders. You can always get to the details you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, there are errors and we need to reach out to support, which is mainly related to technical setups. If you don't have a technical background, finding the root cause of the problem might require some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Contentsquare for website performance analysis, understanding user journeys, zoning analysis to optimize content, and AB testing. It helps in identifying which parts of a page are performing well and optimizing for better conversions. It's effective for analyzing AB test variations in detail.

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the Journey Analysis feature with the sunburst chart on Contentsquare. It's super easy to see where customers are going and understand why they might be visiting specific pages. It also helps us identify where customers are looping.

I can't think of anything, it has solved some real pain points.

I use Contentsquare to understand customer behavior and website interactions. It helps me see why customers click and where they navigate. The Journey Analysis with the sunburst chart is fantastic for understanding customer paths and identifying looping points.
