Organized and Functional.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the option to sort my candidates into different lists and projects. It helps keep me organized and I know exactly what step each person is in my process for hire.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish I could use the platform with outlook. As in, any email exchanges I have with candidates would sync to the CRM. I get a lot of email traffic that I must manually enter, and the only option is to put it as a note. So, either being able to add an email manually or have an outlook extension would be helpful.

Phenom Expereince
What do you like best about the product?
A feature within Phenom that I like best is the ChatBot. It allows you to see the process in which a candidate might be interested in a role within your company
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I do find challenging in Phenom is the inability to set up three or more touchpoints when sending campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phenom allows you to have more accurate up to date information for candidates within an easy way to follow that candidate through a pipeline.
Not fit for purpose
What do you like best about the product?
It is convenient for recruiters to schedule interviews with candidates for screening.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use Phenom on top of Cornerstone ATS. No one consulted us (recruiters) or did a UAT before implementing it. Here are some reasons why Phenom makes our lives harder.
1. Vaunted A.I is an Actual.Imbecile. It doesn't work. We cannot source effectively from Phenom. Something as simple as filter for skills or language is not possible. It captures skills such as "football", "physics", "workforce planning" when these words do not appear on the IT candidate's CV. Most of the time, we source from LinkedIn instead, and feed the profiles into Phenom. Then we manually clean all the skill tags. Phenom also doesn't work with Boolean, all the more important for every recruiter to clean the data. Labour intensive much? We've had some live training sessions, and each time the trainer wasn't able to show us a successful sourcing.
2. Interview scheduling doesn't work when it is for hiring managers. It cannot handle changes, and many times, candidates do not receive updates. We do this manually.
3. Once you fill a role, the req closes without rejecting all the applicants. You need to manually reject the applicants first (in batches of max 50 each time), before you can close the req.
4. Poor UI - There is more than 1 way to enter interview notes. So hiring managers working with different recruiters will be confused on where to look. Each interview note comes with an A.I summary at the top, which is where hiring managers will look first, instead of scrolling down to look for the notes. The A.I summary is mostly incorrect. We need to tell each hiring manager where to find the notes.
5. There is no way for us to know whether the data in the system is GDPR compliant. We have to take Phenom's word for it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None. Cornerstone is basic, but it doesn't claim to be something it is not. We wish corporate would finally replace Phenom with something else.
Phenom is a great effective platform
What do you like best about the product?
Phenom is very intuitive, we are able to have users online and actively using Phenom relatively quickly. The features available help our team across many different projects from email outreach to website analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Phenom's customer support is often effective but can take a little longer than you would want. We do get solutions but we like to see a faster turnaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving our need to help candidates through the application process and beyond.
Best Platform I have used!
What do you like best about the product?
Great certificaton topics. Learning so much! Applicable to current role.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike having to upload templates for doing drip campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easier to create large scale campaigns to filter candidates to reach. Automatically scheduling interviews partnering with Outlook. Abiity to input notes for each step in the process with candidate.
Don’t buy it
What do you like best about the product?
It is a relatively easy to use CRM if you are advanced in tech
What do you dislike about the product?
We implemented Phemom CRM into Workday ATS. The implementation took a few months and it was not fit for purpose for the first half a year.
It is advertised as it has AI, but there is no intelligence in it at all, only some basic algorithms, some poorly designed.
UX - personally, the design gives me the desire to switch it off after 5 seconds on it.
Search feature - if you are searching for 1 particular thing - it does the job - for example - a candidate name, a job title etc
It does not support Boolean
All of the other searches have to be done through advanced filters
It has a more than 6 hours sync time with Workday, on some occasions.
Some data from Workday never reaches Phenom - for example a role closed 6 months ago can still show as open on Phenom and you cannot amend that.
Sometimes data from candidate's resumes is parsed into wrong fields - ex - name as address or opposite
Rejecting candidates in bulk might take ages
Customer support - a joke. It takes ages for them to get back and they always try to convince that you are the problem and not their faulty software.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is supposed to enhance candidate experience, but it doesn't always do the trick
Very excited to start using Phenom!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Phenom Intelligent Talent experience platform because it is interactive & informative. You are able to go back to lessons which makes it easy to reference later.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lessons tend to be long & could be broken up into smaller pieces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making all candidates accesible from one site is what makes the Platform so useful.
Great platform!
What do you like best about the product?
AI Insights, fit scores, easy to navigate, Integrates between multiple systems
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about utilizing phenom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
streamlining steps for us and integrating all of our systems so it is housed in one place.
Phenom Intelligent Talent has been a great platform!
What do you like best about the product?
To me the most helpful thing about the platform is that I can easily organize my requisitions and initiate screenings quickly and effeciently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides I've found are that I don't get notified the way I want (I want notifications sent to my email and I can't figure out how to get that done and work). My requisitions sometimes will dissappear for a day or two as well, so it worries me it may be unreliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping to solve our disorganization and management.
Visually pleasing and intuitive!
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely user friendly and has features that make your day to day work better
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not tink there is a downside to using Phenom
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phenom is helping us be competitive in the market and providing us with candidate insights we don't find on any old job board.
