The workato this is a great software for automation of process
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of building an integration and support that is always on. I also like the fact that it creates connectors without too much trouble. Lastly, I love community connectors
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as intuitive a tool as zapier, for example. So, some customers have difficulty performing integrations without help. In addition, many software still do not have connectors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating processes between pipefy and other software like netsuite, docusign, google calendar, among others. In addition, we are using workato to solve problems that we have in pipefy, such as the functionality of computable fields
Quick, smart and impactful Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Workato provides a low code, simple interface allowing me to build some really interesting and impactful automation that otherwise would have been outwith my skillset
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to some of the connections that cause you to build rather complex and non-scalable workarounds. I would love to see more control in recipe response time with customizable adjustments
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly used to shuttle data between company data sources and sales-specific tools. We have implemented some pretty neat user bots that can reduce the need to move between tools for information
Automate the W*rk out of it
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is, without of doubt, how natural it feels to create recipes in a short time of practice. In time you can see the recipes building up in your head while you´re presented with a requirement or if you´re asked for an automation. Workato has almost infinite connections and, if you can´t find the one you´re looking for, you can create an API connection of your own, which makes the possibilities of automation endless. It´s easy to track errors and even easier to fix them. Newbies have it really easy to learn the principles on their own with the Automation Institute
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found big dislikes on the processing side. If I have to be picky I can mention that I'm not too crazy with the new chatting tools. You have to open a new label just for the chat in order to be faster to type and send screenshots. I have complained about this already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated almost every process we used to have to do manually for audits. We have saved our collaborators time and rerouted their efforts to other matters, saving money, human errors and processing time. We have linked most of our software applications so that they can interact and we can have instant answers to queries that need entries from 2 or more of them. We have better data visualization thanks to that too
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely easy to use, you don´t need a specialist to use it. Although it would be recommended once you increase your usage
I have an good and pleasing experience with Workato
What do you like best about the product?
The clean and simple user interface. Learning and implementation is simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding multi-line comments is not possible.
Not able to add TO-DO actions.
Not able to add TO-DO actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting with Major industry platforms is easy.
The best overall integration solution that I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
I've used several integration solutions over the past 20+ years of my career. These include the old Business Object Data Integrator, Scribe, Boomi, Advanced ETL Processor, and custom-coded integrations. Workato is by the far the easiest to learn, implement, and manage. The number of transforms/actions available and the variety of system connectors makes it extremely powerful and flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one issue that comes up from time to time is when an integration job fails. The failure is usually due to some data issue whether it be missing data or data not constrained by a lookup. Sometimes, the user will correct the data and retrigger the integration and it will go through. However, the original job that failed still shows up in the job log as having failed. I wish there was a way to manually flag or remove the previously failed job or at least add a comment to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company has acquired two companies in the past 1 1/2 years. The legacy Salesforce instances from the acquired companies, for several reasons, are still running. I had to integrate the legacy Salesforce instances with the main Salesforce instance and the accounting system to support sales booking and digital asset provisioning. Workato recipes made this all possible. It would have been a nightmare to do with another integration tool. I've also integrated Salesforce case escalations with Slack and have used the Workato API Platform option to make previously inaccessible financial data visible inside of a Salesforce Lightning page.
Easiest iPaaS product.
What do you like best about the product?
The almost flat learning curve and drag and drop implementation make it the best iPaaS product for MSBs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workato is slightly restrictive because it forces the users to practice best practices, however the support for best practices is not intuitive enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We build custom integrations and automation for our clients so that they can optimize their financial operations.
Superb support & implementation
What do you like best about the product?
The staff at Workato are extremely helpful. I've dealt with both the implementation team and the online support team. The drag and drop nature of the product lets you quickly immerse yourself into it. The learning curve isn't steep at all, but there is still so much that it can do. I want to use this product more, but I've already solved all the use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workato does cost money, so it can be challenging getting your organization to purchase it. However, once you've got it, it saves so much time. You can also have non-technical staff getting up to speed on the product leaving your developers free to concentrate on their core activities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're integrating between a custom ERP and Salesforce, which has allowed a data synchronization not previously capable. The ability to use standard Salesforce connectors and custom HTTP REST API blocks are most appreciated.
Workato is reliable and easy
What do you like best about the product?
Reliable, we never had problems with Workato. It is constantly updated with some fantastic new features. We have all kind of integrations and process running in workato
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a best way to work in recipes where they are running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy integration with a lot of different services (Azure, AWS, woo-commerce, Google, etc). Easy way to work with webhooks
Integration successes
What do you like best about the product?
We have been working with Workato for 2,5 years and continue to develop new recipes on an ongoing basis. We currently integrate NetSuite with Magento and PayPal but are looking to go beyond this and increase the level of automation further. In 2022, the goal is to start building recipes for Microsoft Dynamics, as our company is moving away from NetSuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like testing new features and experimenting, but the licensing model with a fixed cost per recipe makes it challenging to have "minor" automation running since a critical mass is needed to motivate the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated the task of moving sales orders from Magento to NetSuite, a process that would easily have consumed a full working day for a human. The automation has allowed us to focus on building the customer experience instead.
Powerful and very simply tools for Automation
What do you like best about the product?
This platform can enhance the better working experience for employees and it's simply enough (Low code, Drag-Drop) to empower everyone to build their own automated process with many pre-build connetors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not complain. But one thing that needs improvement on Work bot for Workplace. Default reply message when people get an error is not editable, and sometimes that message is not related to context and makes people confused. It would be great if we could.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We fixed so many issues with Workato. We cut many processes of time management by letting people manage their time (Leave, OT request, Time correction) via a chat bot, and the bot can be bridging for HR to connect with all employees. We can track their's vaccination status or broadcast messages to all or specific employees about vaccine information via Workato's workbot
