Vulnerability Scanning With Nessus
What do you like best about the product?
The reports that Nessus provides with the CVSS score and the vulnerability details

Huge membership charges to use the Tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am cybersecurity expert and I have been using Tenable tools to scan and find out the vulnerabilities of client's system and network

My use of tenable.
What do you like best about the product?
Tenable sc's nessus product is the one i like the most. Nessus community is probably one most used tools in out organization.For me, the best part of Nessus's UI UX is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I was a student, I wanted to use the professional version of nessus. I would like to have these professional tools much more accessible for the new generation without much hassle
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As Tenable is a security company, the products of tenable help us to identify vulnerabilities and assess the organization's assets much more precisely. This helps us to identify our security posture.
The end to excessive permissions
What do you like best about the product?
Ermetic makes it very easy to understand and remediate excessive permissions
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing some key features in CSPM like disk scanning
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ermetic CIEM is a good product and help us with excessive permissions mostly, No other tool we have tested was as helpful with that like Ermetic
Outstanding visibility and the best support
What do you like best about the product?
With Ermetic, auditing our AWS environment has become much easier. We can see exactly what entities have excessive privileges and where they come from. We get nothing but the best support from our reps Gary and Moshe when we have a questions. They always make time to setup a meeting and take care of us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard for me to say, haven't run into anything I didnt like
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of visibility into our AWS environment. Being 100% in the cloud, we have alot to manage. Ermetic makes emphasizing least privilege easy and we are more productive because of it.
Ermetic - Great CIEM & CSPM Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ermetic gives us great insight into our Cloud Security and Cloud Infrastructure Risks. With the ability to manage access permissions, ensure cloud compliance, and provide recommendations for the principle of least privilege, Ermetic has quickly become a daily tool for us to use in monitoring our Cloud environment. The support team has been great in resolving problems quickly. Their quick response to each question has been tremendous as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside we've noticed involves some findings/issues not being resolved when remediating the problem manually in the Cloud environment. Working with the Support team has been a great help in getting these issues resolved quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementing the privilege of least privilege in our Cloud environment has been a challenge in the past. With the Ermetic Platform, the process has become much easier for us.
Excellent Tool, Love the Team
What do you like best about the product?
Setup and integration are quick and easy compared to current tools on the market. The UI is clean and easy to understand and the clarity in how to Remediate findings is perfect. The team is also very knowledgeable and available whenever we need them making it so easy to work with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, no dislikes at this time - any suggestions we make are added to their roadmap so we're overall happy with everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's giving us insight into the security gaps we didn't realize we had, and Ermetic is also helping us to remediate them quickly (which is appreciated).
Quick, easy and Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
The instant report created by the system followed by the multitude of scans that is available based on real vulnerabilitites such as Log4J. Being first in the store this is much more better and reliabke
What do you dislike about the product?
Using Tenable nessus there is alot of dalse positoviss present within the system and i feel like having to differentiate the false positives and real scans can help the pentestors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tenable.sc helps making the scans much faster and made into a report thus allowing Pentestors to save time and move forward with other scans. This allows for better buisness project handling as we can make things faster

Able to get to know what are my security vulnerabilities so that I am able to patch it

Sometime it is slow and it does not pick up all the cyber security vulnerabilities

Reliable platform for vulnerability management
What do you like best about the product?
Tenable.sc is extremely flexible and reliable for use managing scanning and vulnerabilities. Tenable.sc can be beneficial to companies large and small and is always a wealth of information when deployed correctly.
When any issues arise, Tenable is quick to answer the phone and/or email to resolve issues fast. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and always helpful when called upon. Tenable is a great technology partner and trusted firm in the industry.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, the product is incredible. The one area that I dislike is that compliance reporting is fairly limited. While the scanning is accurate and thorough, getting the data out in a clean way can be a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tenable.sc is helping us identify vulnerabilities across our enterprise and prioritizing which to fix first based on risk. It has also helped us build consistent reporting to meet industry compliance.
Vulnerability Management and Prioritization
What do you like best about the product?
Tenable.io makes it effortless to spin up a vulnerability management, prioritization and reporting platform for your network. The dashboards are decent out of the box and the ability to dig into the data of interest is incredibly valuable. The combined view of all of their solutions makes the job of a security team much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it is a SaaS platform, the level of customization is not as high as with the on-prem counterpart of Tenable.sc. For instance, custom trending charts are not available in the way they were as part of Tenable.sc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tenable.io helps us identify and prioritize vulnerabilities within our internal network, external perimeter and our cloud infrastructure. Teams are able to manage their own assets and we use the data at the engineer and executive level.
