What do you like best about the product?
The breakdown we got regarding access to sensitive resources and having it all together while using SaaS IDP.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still work to be done around vulnerabilities in the cloud, but overall as a CIEM tool it does a great job.

Nice tool to Detect & Track the Issue of the assets
What do you like best about the product?
A risk-based vulnerability management approach is the best solution to help us improve our remediation efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
As such, I don't see any issue with the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company use this tool to overcome environmental risks by fixing susceptibilities, monitoring the installation of some cyber tools, and collecting audit evidence.

Missing some features around machine scanning.

Tenable.io is a good tool to make a foundation for the vulnerability management programme

Tenable.io removes a burden of maintenance and gives worldwide network of external scanners

The documentation isn't written with the end user in mind

It does vulnerability assessment and improves our visibility of the estate

The competition has much better reporting capabilities
Greatness of Tenable, but in the cloud!
What do you like best about the product?
I am slightly tainted in this review, as we moved from Tenable.sc to Tenable.io. The features and functionality in the dashboard alone are night and day better in IO. The way we have been able to pinpoint endpoints with the agents has been geat, especially on the devices that are roaming in our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ONLY complaint I have for tenable.io is the reporting. I felt like I had better reporting in tenable.sc. The more we work with it maybe we can figure other options out or maybe additions will be made
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest solution they have provided us with tenable.io is the ability to see devices when they are not on our network. When the laptop is traveling to an event or when our sales reps take a laptop home to use, we can see them and keep up with them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If there is apprehension about using this product, I would at least give it a try. Do the trial and you will not be disappointed

What do you like best about the product?
The speed at which the platform incorporates new vulnerabilities is critical to it being the leading product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support on incorporating new scan templates can be a slow process.

We are able to have a vulnerability scanning and remediation process with Tenable as a critical compoant.

First choice for vulnerability scanning and awareness.

The best thing is the API and its many features.

1- Lack of technical information on how the scans work.
2- Item solutions may be outdated with the current solution.
3- When the setting to not show superseded vulnerabilities is enabled, we have no way of searching for this vulnerability using CVEs.
4- There is no native integration with AWS and Azure.

We use the tool to reduce environmental risks by fixing vulnerabilities, monitoring the installations of some cyber tools, and collecting audit evidence. Every month we generate a KPI based on the numbers of Tenable vulnerabilities.

If not absolutely needed, consider using tenable web client and not the sc. Consider hiring an expert on the product for the reports and onboarding process.
