Enterprize Integration with Boomi
What do you like best about the product?
It is user friendly also, drag/drop features for creation and deployment made it simple for integrations. Also, the cloud-native architecture provides possibilities for scalability without much physical infrastructure cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there is still scope of betterment when it comes to custom connectors. There are not much rights provided to customize the pre-built connectors. Also, the pricing model is bit difficult to deal with here, it can be made more transparent and, flexible which can create major impact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it majorly to connect let's say XYZ company's enterprize system with salesforce, Oracle, etc without much code by using simple drag/drop feature. It also gives enough features to publish, manage and monitor the APIs.

It is helping us to build the integrations for sales, marketing, Security, legal & IT teams. We use all different types of integration patterns like APIs, Async & Batch.

Boomi is not great with large data loads. Not an ETL choice.

What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoy most about Boomi is its user-friendly design. The drag-and-drop functionality makes it simple to create and deploy integrations, even for those with limited coding expertise. Additionally, the extensive library of pre-built connectors streamlines the process of connecting different platforms and applications, making integrations seamless. Its scalability ensures that the platform can handle businesses of any size, adapting as they grow. Supporting both cloud and on-premise integrations, Boomi is flexible enough to meet a variety of business needs. By automating repetitive tasks and workflows, it improves efficiency and allows teams to focus on more strategic goals. Moreover, the active user community and responsive customer support ensure that assistance is always available when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been using boomi for over 4 years so far no major issues but I can see Boomi could be challenging to navigate initially due to the abundance of features, which can make onboarding overwhelming.

Boomi tackles data fragmentation by integrating data across diverse applications and platforms. By connecting on-premise systems with cloud-based ones, it eradicates data silos and keeps information flowing consistently. This seamless integration helps us streamline our processes and make well-informed decisions using real-time data insights. Moreover, Boomi's automated workflows minimize manual tasks, enabling us to focus on strategic initiatives and significantly boosting our operational efficiency.

Boomi is a great tool to get data from anywhere in just about any format to anywhere in any format. We have used it for our ERP systems, legacy systems, and reporting systems.

Boomi has a solid set of compatible tools that allows us to do integration and much more. We are able to leverage the tool set to manage and access data as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Boomi is great, the cost to enter is high but it's worth it.

Getting data from third parties into our cloud systems.
The Right tool for the right job
What do you like best about the product?
It allows multiple systems to send and recieve data between them. The platform is constantly updateing and adding value.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where Boomi is does not have access to the correct platforms. There are also scenarios where the black box part of the platform makes it hard to troubleshoot.

The biggest problem that we are solving is keeping data between systems syncronized

What do you like best about the product?
I like the applicablility of Boomi and how easily it can be used to create integration processes. Boomi allows me to design and create processes that I can scale up for business uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
There a certain inherit features that I wish Boomi had; specifically in the mapping software. For instance, I have used a mapping software where an 'if-else' logical conjuction was natively built in. Whereas in Boomi, for an if-else there are a couple of ways you have to go about it that don't seem too helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Boomi is solving the problem of a lot of things. For instance, allowing your data to be stored in the cloud rather than on-prem. This is very cost beneficial. It also allows us to use a more modern tool for EDI (which has been around for nearly a century). By using a modern tool such as Boomi, we can easily connect to various platforms with ease.
