Extend the onprem backup to external offsite with easy scalable options .

Backup leader since a long time ago that covers any workload you may have
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Veritas Alta Data Protection for more than 15 years, it has been able to protect any workload I had and I am sure it will protect any I will have in the future. It has been very reliable, always have worked for any restore, and it is contantly being improved with new features to make it most resilient with a lot of features to protect from Ransomware attacks and been able to recover your business really fast if needed. It can protect from physical, to virtual and cloud workloads, and use any storage device you may think, from tapes to disk (with deduplication) and cloud cheap object storage like glacier and similar. Also, if you can use always the same vendor you do not need to worry about migrating LTR backups if you change vendor.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to be cheaper :-) but analyzing all the features you get it is afordable and saves money in hardware and cloud resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It protects your data, not only for accidental detection or corruption, but also for external attacks like ransomware.
Our experience was very smooth, the implementation was straight forward and the customer was happy.

Centralized dashboard for multiple Primary Servers across Multiple datacentres,
The ability to add different roles for different types of users that will access Alta View,
The events section displaying everything on a centralized screen,
Easy to integrate.
The customer and administrators use it on a daily basis.

No downsides to report on yet, the expectation of what is available has been met.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the moment, the biggest benefit is the customer can report a centrilized dashboard to management teams.

Capacity of storage un the cloud repository. Additional, add on licensing for the storage additional.

It is a very easy-to-use solution with a web-based interface and built-in automation..

One of the major issues is cost. Alta Data Protection can be expensive compared to some open-source or competitor solutions, especially for smaller businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veritas Alta protects data from various threats like accidental deletion, hardware failures, natural disasters, and even ransomware attacks. It offers backup and recovery capabilities to quickly restore lost data.
No hassle B/up for SaaS Applications !!!

Ease of use and set up with few click with no server , software , storage to manage !!!

We were looking to protect our o365 tenant which included one drive , exchange online , teams & were looking for a solution where we dont need to manage servers and still able to b/up & restore ou o365 data.

To be honest, I didn't find anything to dislike. Or maybe I haven't used it extensively yet

I need a one-stop-shop solution for all my cloud services. Veritas Saas Backup is the one the someone supports them all.

Just read the documentation and watch lots of videos.

What do you like best about the product?
Veritas saas backup handle backul recovery and disaster recovery, using the air replication. We can also use it to protect virtual environments not just physical servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The usablity of the solution isnt too good, licensinh has been a struggle. It went from bronze, silver to gold. Licensing needs more sophistication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides secure and scalable data protection accross your etire offie 365 or salesforce environment. It protect saas productivity applications eith the ability ti access anywhere, anytime and from any device.
