Teradici CAS: fast and secure remote access from anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
Teradici is providing secure, fast and high performant connectivity software which does the job nicely for remote access of VMs or remote access of resources over the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most things are good about this only there should be a try and test option for small size companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teradici Cloud Access Software has enabled us to unlock easy access from remote. Since most of the resources are centralized and users are across the globe,
this system handles the load of number of users well and provides good performance.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides smooth and secure access to the cloud VMs and resources.
The user experience is great including low latency, high resolution, and a lot of customization available.

Technical support can be improved a bit rest is great.

Teradici gives us a secure and fast remote desktop service infrastructure to access anywhere in the world. The access to resources and utilization of resources is easier now.

What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing costs associated with Teradici's Cloud Access Software. Depending on the deployment scale and specific requirements, the licensing fees may be perceived as expensive by some users or organisations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote Desktop allows employees to securely access their virtual desktops and workstations from anywhere, promoting productivity and flexibilty. Organizations can utilise Teradici Cloud Access Software to implement VDI solutions, centralizing desktop management, enhance security, and optimising resource utilisation.

What do you like best about the product?
Teradici CAS allows our Organization to have users provisioned virtual client machines that can be used to access the data from all over the world securely and without having to worry latency in performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have recently started using Teradic CAS but, so far we haven't seen any downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Organization has offices all across the world so needless to say we have a global list of users who needs to access the same data from different location. Teradici allows them to access it without any concerns for security and also provides decent performance irrespective of where the users are located.

Throughput, Performance, Connectivity time, Features comapred to competition, Easy to deploy & Easy to Manage, Cloud Option
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is bit slow in India, no direct Trial option is available - you need to involve Sales Team. Some features are lacking for true collboration
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote Access connectivity for the Servers / Workstations which are deployed at DC (Central location) & users are connecting remotely from different locations.

The best part of Teradici Cloud is that it provides Wider range of Solutions and Options for the Management
What do you dislike about the product?
With wider Range of solutions one Bad point that it has complated infrastructure and management for the beginner, despite with experience it's easy to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the Manual Management Of the CaD and System Operations there is chances of misconfigurations but Teradici Manages The things in a easy way.
The Teradici PCoIP system is simply fabulous!
What do you like best about the product?
The Teradici software including their CAS PCoIP protocol is simply the best thing ever. It is so easy to deploy and works great for sending over a PC's image to remote terminals including zero clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is only useful if you have to deploy around 50 computers and we have not yet tried to replace our workstations with the CAS system along with VMware Horizon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the issue of individual workstations becoming obsolete over years. It is very easy to have all the virtual machines on a local server with shared hardware resources including GPU's and assigning them individually to people as required. Even easier to upgrade over the years.

With no lags, best quality screen share from one end of the world to another end.
User experience at it's best with so many small flexible tweaking as per requirement, with that said utilising resources intelligently.

What do you dislike about the product?
Requires additional TCP/UDP ports to be allowed on on site firewalls and the host machine for agent to successfully get connected. Difficult to troubleshoot at times if you have less knowledge on PcoIP protocol.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote screen share with high quality and optimum bandwidth utilisation has helped to troubleshoot during remote console access of routers on enterprises level solutions
