What do you like best about the product?
I like that Magnet Forensics provides information to detectives quickly, which is really useful. I also appreciate the ability to see phone data during the interview because it lets me use the data while talking to the person. Additionally, the initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Axiom struggles with in-house antivirus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Magnet Forensics for extracting data and gathering evidence. I like that it provides information to detectives quickly, allowing us to see phone data during interviews.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of producing artifact reports for clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the filtering was better especially at the file explorer level. I would like to stack my filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would say the ease of producing reports quickly and the way mobile devices can be added with other data sources.

Magnet makes my job a lot easier, and I genuinely prefer it to any competitor.

I haven’t experienced any physical downsides. The only limitation for my agency is that the budget can sometimes be a constraint.

This software supports mobile device forensics, includes translation tools, and provides case management features.
Magnet Makes Digital Forensics Easy to Learn and Use
What do you like best about the product?
Magnet provides services that cover every aspect of digital forensics. The interface is easy to understand and interpret, which not only simplifies the analysis but also helps officers without digital forensics training quickly learn how to use and make sense of the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate a customer support chat where other customers can communicate with one another. This is something that other services offer that has been beneficial for me to see what others are experiencing to trouble shoot rather than waiting on a customer support for awhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They cover each area and have a service to help with each step of the process
Axiom Examine Portable Cases Training for Investigators is Excellent
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Axiom Examine in particular. I find it is intuitive, and most importantly as a forensic examiner, Magnet provides and excellent end user course for portable cases so investigators can understand how to use the data I am giving them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing makes it difficult for many services to effectively equip themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile device access. In particular, EPM has been very helpful.
Intuitive and Efficient, but Noise and Large Datasets Can Be Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive and efficient tool for data processing. Easy to teach junior staff

Sometimes produces noise that can feel misleading. Large data sets are not very easy to work with, especially across multiple data sources

Key driver for my team to perform investigations for clients. Remote endpoint collection tool is one of the best available that i have utilized
Versatile Forensics Data Ingestion with Fantastic Support
What do you like best about the product?
It is versatile and can ingest whatever format I throw at it from what tools I am using. Support is also fantastic!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can crash doing cloud collections. Can take a long time depending on size and scope of collection. But understandable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does collection, processing, and analysis for our forensics cases.
Clean, Self-Explanatory Device Extractions with MAGNET Forensics
What do you like best about the product?
I love how clean MAGNET Forensics makes my device extractions look. The whole process is pretty self-explanatory, and it takes the headache out of having to make multiple attempts just to connect. It also helps cut down on the usual troubleshooting, like figuring out why a device can’t be found or dealing with other issues I’ve run into.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d really like to see the speed improved. It would also be great to have keyboard shortcuts for tagging artifacts, since that would make the workflow feel quicker and more convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magnet Forensics has been helping with my ICAC/CSAM cases. It benefits my department by allowing thorough analysis of all seized devices, so we can complete our work more comprehensively and with more confidence in our casework
Broad Device Support and Fast Updates
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of devices that are supported by the tools, and the speed at which new updates are supported.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of some Android devices which are supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magnet is allowing us to access data from devices which we otherwise would not be able to access and gain invaluable information.
