Greatest CRM i've tried. And it's free.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy setup, powerful tools. There's nothing to long for and everything to have. Great for customization, great for having a complete overview and even greater for collaboration, in a customer/sales capacity. This is the one to get!
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres a little bit for everyone! users, powerusers and administrators. The only downside is, though it's easy to set up, and is packed with powerful tools, it can take a bit of time finding them and getting the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using SugarCRM for customer relations, meeting/call management and storing information about our customer, accessible to our 4 salespeople. Just works like a charm! 10/10!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get the app for mobile! It works well, on the go, when a PC is not an option.
Sugar is a valuable CRM for a software company that requires customer subscription keycodes
What do you like best about the product?
Sugar has allowed us to quickly search for what we need in our database vs our old CRM. We also love the Collabspot liason tool for Gmail/Sugar. We can quickly input customer details right from Gmail.
What do you dislike about the product?
When Collabspot acts up or Sugar slows down intermittently we find that to be very frustrating. It also costs quite a bit to customize
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sugar has allowed us to integrate our client subscriptions with our contacts and leverage plug ins such as Delivra to quickly reach our audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
compare the flexibility of Sugar VS other CRMS such as Salesforce which we feel were very rigid when needing customizing
Major improvement from our previous CRM.
What do you like best about the product?
The modules and tabs are easy to use and there's a lot of opportunity to customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that required additional programming because they didn't fit our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're cleaning up our database, generating tons of reports, and attempting to use it to improve our marketing. Easier for our sales reps to prospect.

Take the time to learn the system and you'll love it.
Highly Customizable CRM / Best for the Technologically Saavy
What do you like best about the product?
SugarCRM offers users the ability to customize the CRM for their own organization. The Admin panel offers a great deal of customization for most people with a modicum of technical knowledge, but if you are more familiar with coding then you can change the source code to achieve greater customization and use the API for additional integration with other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the training is excellent it is either geared toward people will very little technical knowledge or experienced developers. There is not much help for technologically saavy noobs like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing all our clients' data into a single repository.
A bit clunky
What do you like best about the product?
It gets the job done, and it's mostly stable. Once you get used to it, it works as expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
It usually seems slow and awkward, and it's often not very intuitive to user. Requires paying for an administrator license.

What do you like best about the product?
Sugar is affordable and has a lot of the same functionality that I had in Salesforce but for significantly less money.
What do you dislike about the product?
The report set ups can be a little confusing and require a little time to get familiar with the set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SugarCRM allows us sales staff to follow up on opportunities and leads in an easy to use system. It also allows us to send off custom reports regionally for our Reps.
Good for what we use it for
What do you like best about the product?
I like that our sales team can track their customer contacts easily and create opportunities to track for new customers. Our customer service team can track issues easily the API is simple to use and allows us to integrate some things into our other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally dislike the user interface. It is a bit clunky and very outdated in design. Sometimes it feels like I'm working in Excel 4.0 again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we had nothing else, SugarCRM helped us to track our contacts and issues in a much better way than we were doing previously.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out, look into existing integration solutions and dive in!
Versatile with Room to Grow
What do you like best about the product?
The easy report features and the ability to quickly click between the account level & contact level.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system has been timing out lately. (500 server error)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting! We had significant issues with the integrity of the report data in our previous CRM. Sugar has been great for creating and running various reports, whether a one-off report or a daily report.
Great for B2B, okay for B2C.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to make changes to the format of our system, cell types, etc...
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to program unless you're a programmer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hoping to better track sales opportunities and prevent potential jobs from being forgotten over time. So far, our benefits have been in distributing leads to our salespeople and making sure those leads are followed up with in a timely manner.
Overall really great program - very easy to use

I like how you are able to look into the opportunity with all of the information and there are different ways to track your contact with that particular opp. As well as setting reminders of when to follow-up
What do you dislike about the product?
- I wish when you mark a meeting as cancelled or no show it goes away from your dashboard. Right now it stays on your dashboard looking like you haven't complete the requested task
_ I would like for there to be a way if you havent followed up with a lead within in certain time frame it would auto populate a friendly reminder - in case you forget to set a reminder
