Miro is great for personal moodboards, or team workspaces . It is easy and flexible.
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility. I like that it is like a blank board you can fill with anything anyway you like.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally would love to have more professional designing and illustration tools. Maybe also some Excel-like tools for calculations or making smart lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to brainstorm online with colleagues.
Perfect for creative classes
What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers an intuitive platform that creates visible, hands-on learning experiences, encouraging students who face challenges to think and work creatively. It also allows them to learn from each other in the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workspace can get chaotic at times. Students can disrupt each other’s workflow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps simplify the learning process for my students and allows them to see each other's work. The way they inspire each other creates better and more creative products.
Powerful Integrations Enhance Miro’s Usability
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro's powerful integrations that allow me to seamlessly embed articles from Confluence or Notion and link Google Docs, Slides, and Spreadsheets. This capability helps me maintain centralized access and consultation of information across different sources. Using Miro is straightforward with easy setup as a regular user. The platform effectively serves as a versatile digital whiteboard for product planning, ideation, and project management, accommodating diverse use cases effortlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the file management system in Miro somewhat challenging. Navigating through files and folders to access the documents I am trying to work on can be tricky. This complexity in file management sometimes hampers collaboration efforts as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro as a central hub for knowledge sharing, benefiting from its integrations to keep information accessible and consultable across teams.
A must have for a user researcher
What do you like best about the product?
I love how flexible / versatile it is. It allows me to work across different mediums. I can run workshops using it, I can collate research data, do affinity diagraming... But also I can work with images - do collages, presentations, even basic prototypes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it starts disconnecting / loading in the middle of me doing something and then because of that it doesn't save the work I did so I have to do it again from scratch. Also an annoying thing is that if I didn't create the board, even if I have edit rights, I can't export images from there. I need to go to the owner and ask them to export it for me which is inconvenient. Another thing is when I try to use arrows - I can only use them from the edge of an image and not from the middle of it. And if i want to run an arrow from the middle of the image - I have to draw it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because Miro is so 'visual' it allows to display and process information faster. Because of it's simplicity, I can way easier translate my process of analysis into the physical form. Especially for affinity mapping, it allows me to sort all the answers way faster and progress with exploration in a way, I wouldn't be able to do if I had to use word / physical form that later I would have to translate online. Lastly, it's enough of an easy tool to introduce it to external users. Because of how straightforward it is, I'm not afraid to use it with stakeholders that haven't used it before as I know they'll quickly catch up.
An infinite whiteboard for the collaborative development of learning projects
What do you like best about the product?
Miro can be used in almost all project phases – from brainstorming to conception to consultations with clients. It is an integral part of daily workflows. Workshops with many participants are also possible without long preparation, as templates and tools are easily customizable. The interface is intuitively designed, so that new team members or external parties can quickly find their way around. Especially the drag-and-drop functionality and the clearly structured menu navigation make it easier to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
With very extensive boards containing numerous contents, the performance occasionally decreases. Additionally, more detailed settings for granting rights to external partners would be desirable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
E-learning studios often face the challenge of structuring complex content together with subject matter experts, project teams, and clients, and transforming it into didactically meaningful learning concepts. Miro provides a central platform for this, where this collaboration can be designed transparently and efficiently.
By using whiteboards, lengthy coordination processes and media disruptions can be avoided. Misunderstandings are minimized because content can be visually prepared and collaboratively edited in real-time. This leads to faster decisions and clearer results within the project work.
Another obstacle is the spatial and temporal distance between the participants. With Miro, workshops, idea collections, and conception phases can be conducted entirely digitally. This reduces costs, shortens project durations, and enables the involvement of stakeholders who would otherwise be difficult to reach.

Miro: An Intuitive and Collaborative Whiteboarding Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very intuitive and easy to use, making it my go-to tool for team planning and collaboration. It allows us to organize tickets, refine and monitor tasks, and manage our daily workflows in one place. I also use it extensively for brainstorming sessions, refinement discussions, and even for personal tasks like building flowcharts and process workflows. The variety of ready-made templates is a huge advantage, as it saves time and adapts well to different use cases. Most importantly, Miro adds real value by enabling seamless collaboration across the team—working together on one board feels natural and productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback is the pricing, which can be a barrier to giving all team members full access. Because of this, some colleagues remain as guests, limiting the overall experience. Performance can also be an issue when multiple users are working on the same board, as the tool tends to slow down noticeably. Improving scalability and accessibility would make Miro even stronger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps our team centralize collaboration, planning, and task refinement in one shared space. Instead of juggling multiple tools, we use Miro to organize tickets, map workflows, and conduct brainstorming sessions. This reduces misalignment and makes it easier for everyone to visualize work progress and contribute ideas in real time. The ready-to-use templates also save time when setting up workshops or process flows. Overall, Miro improves transparency, keeps discussions structured, and makes teamwork more efficient, whether for day-to-day operations or strategic planning.
Collaborate and improve
What do you like best about the product?
Since my first experience with Miro, it was immediately clear that I had discovered an agile, personal collaboration powerhouse!
The platform is remarkably intuitive, you always understand what you're doing, and commands are exactly where you expect them. The continuous evolution and feature additions consistently deliver exactly what teams need to succeed.
The template library deserves special mention, it's the secret weapon when you're seeking inspiration, and you will always find it! I genuinely believe Miro is establishing itself as the de facto standard for visual collaboration, much like Jira has for backlog management. Leading companies globally are leveraging it to design purposeful, engaging training experiences that empower people to brainstorm effectively and conquer their most ambitious objectives.
An absolute must-have for high-performing teams!

What do you dislike about the product?
Performance can occasionally be a consideration with very large, complex boards, you may need robust hardware to maintain optimal speed and responsiveness. That said, this is a natural trade-off for such a feature-rich, real-time collaboration platform.
Regarding pricing, while the license cost sits at the premium end, the value delivered absolutely justifies the investment. You truly get what you pay for in terms of capabilities, reliability, and impact on team productivity!

Interaction with Miro review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the first glance, simplistic interface, although there is more beneath the surface once you start using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
From what I can gather you could use any area of the board to localize your project, perhaps some guidance where the projects are located would be beneficial. (if there is a way to do that I've yet to discover it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it as a visual platform for various projects. It is easy to update tickets logged as it combines text and shapes to provide impactfull information communication.
Overall best experience I've had with workflow design platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Intelligent connection of shapes to other, it's like the Miro already knows what I'm thinking before I actually do it. It's always a step ahead of me.
Collaboration, like I can actually see the other person navigating and making changes on the board in real time. 10/10 for this.

What do you dislike about the product?
The tool lacks all the necessary relationship arrows for creating an ERD. At times, I have to get creative to represent a many-to-many relationship, often by using two one-to-many lines pointing in opposite directions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time collaboration reduces time of sharing visual designs over emails saving a lot time in back and forth feedbacks.
Miro's core functionalities and the problem it solves in general is a 10/10.
