Flexible and Creative, But Needs Optimization
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible Miro is. I can zoom out and zoom right in, and nothing is pixelated. It provides a lot of options and opportunities for teams to get creative and share their thoughts online. I am able to upload my thoughts into a board and see in real time the edits my team is making, which helps enhance our marketing strategies and content opportunities. It's also great that I can work with my team wherever they choose to work that day. The initial setup of Miro was super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I open the desktop app, it takes a lot of battery and my laptop begins to heat up. It can lag sometimes and take up a lot of data and memory. I think the backend needs to be optimized a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for brainstorming, content planning, and customer journey mapping. It lets me upload and see my team's edits in real-time, enhancing our marketing strategies. Its flexibility aids teamwork from anywhere, fostering creativity and online collaboration.
Effortless Wireframing Makes Design a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is excellent for wireframing and earlystage design thinking. It’s fast, flexible, and makes it really easy to sketch out ideas, flows, and layouts without getting bogged down in heavy design tools. The infinite canvas and wireframe components are perfect for quickly iterating and collaborating with others in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little overall. On extremely large boards, performance can occasionally slow down, but it’s usually manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us rapidly turn ideas into visual wireframes that everyone can understand and contribute to. It’s great for aligning stakeholders early, reducing back-and-forth, and speeding up decision-making before moving into higher-fidelity design or development.
Effective Mind Mapping with Some Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to mindmap and brainstorm ideas and my thoughts. I appreciate that it's fairly easy to use and is performant no matter how big the mindmap is. Plus, it just works without any bugs, which makes the experience smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some shortcuts could be improved, like auto-connecting a new sticky note to another one. Often, I have to drag it or adjust the connection size, which makes building large mindmaps from sticky notes slower.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to express my ideas on an unlimited whiteboard, making it easy to mindmap and brainstorm.
Revolutionized Our Team's Visual Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro mainly to collaborate visually with my team for brainstorming, planning, and prototyping ideas, as it helps me overcome the challenges of working with a distributed team. It brings ideas to life and gets everyone aligned quickly in one shared space. I like how Miro makes visual collaboration easy and intuitive, using an infinite canvas to organize ideas without feeling constrained. The templates save a lot of time when starting a new project, and the real-time collaboration works brilliantly; seeing everyone's input appear instantly keeps the energy high and makes workshops feel dynamic and productive. The AI tools also save me time by automating tasks like creating tables or prototypes. Overall, it's made collaboration smoother, more interactive, and much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main aspects of Miro that don't work as well are around organization and control. It can feel a bit overwhelming when boards aren't structured properly, and if objects aren't locked before sharing, things can get moved around by accident and this disrupts the flow. We've also encountered some permission issues across multiple instances within the organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro resolves collaboration issues with my distributed team by consolidating everything in one shared space, enhancing alignment. It simplifies visualizing complex ideas with its infinite canvas and tools. The real-time collaboration and AI tools make sessions productive, spark creativity, and boost efficiency.

I use Miro for team collaboration and it really helps with people alignment and facilitation. I like that it's easy to use and flexible with various formats for different needs. The AI features in Miro are very good. They speed things up with theming and creating a strawman, which provides a basis for discussion.

Flexible Platform with Mobile Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for its flexibility. Unlike other platforms with rigid workflows, Miro allows me to create my own environment and way of working. I also appreciate my ability to sort of dump any kind of information within the constraints of Miro. As a creative director running an advertising agency, Miro solves the problem of managing a lot of divergent information, which is crucial for my visual business and personal organization. I can group things in a way that makes sense to me, prioritize tasks, and organize things visually which saves time and effort. I enjoy having everything I need in one platform and one workspace, making it easier and quicker to move a sticky note around instead of dealing with platforms like Outlook. I also like the endless flexible workspace and canvas that Miro offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the biggest improvement needed for Miro is its mobile experience. The mobile experience is horrible. Sharing things on a Miro board from mobile is almost impossible for my clients. It doesn't accept the native HEIC mobile image format, so I have to convert images to JPEG or PNG. Miro needs to accept GIFs too since motion and video are a big part of my work. The word count limit is a huge bummer and affects sharing text-based content. Setting up accounts with Miro was extremely confusing, and I somehow ended up with two accounts. The way the account profiles and users are worded is really confusing. Miro's email communication doesn't provide useful tips or training, which is disappointing for a company that focuses on organizing information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of managing divergent information, streamlining my project tracking as a creative director and organizing my personal tasks. It lets me create calendars using sticky notes, simplifying scheduling and reducing effort compared to Outlook.
User-Friendly for Design Mood Boards
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is very easy to use, making it a great tool for creating mood boards for my design business. It's straightforward for both me and my clients to navigate, which is a big plus when presenting and collaborating on design options. It stands out to me because it's more user-friendly and specific for each project compared to other tools like Pinterest. Also, the initial setup was very easy, and most people I interact with find it easy to use too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some clients that have a hard time signing in when I send them the link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me organize all my surface and material options in one place for my design business, allowing clients to easily review and add their input.
Miro: Powerful, User-Friendly Tool for Product Discovery
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro really easy to use and very powerful, which is a combination that's hard to come by. It balances power and simplicity at the same time, making it a really user-friendly tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are people who are new to Miro on my team, it seems like there's kind of a resistance to it. I don't know if there's something that could be done to make it easier for a new user in my organization to get excited and use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps get my thoughts out on paper and creates a tender for us to design the product against.
