A powerful tool for collaboration and brainstorming

  • September 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how intuitive and versatile Miro is. Collaborating in real time is straightforward, and the templates help save a significant amount of time. The visual layout makes it much easier to organize and communicate complex ideas with the team. I also find it very accessible, whether I'm brainstorming, planning, or facilitating workshops.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the boards can seem somewhat heavy when filled with a large amount of content, which tends to slow down loading times. Additionally, the sheer number of features can feel overwhelming initially, and it takes some time for new users to become completely comfortable with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro greatly simplifies remote collaboration by providing a shared visual workspace where we can brainstorm and plan together. It helps keep the team aligned, saves valuable time, and clarifies even the most complex ideas.

Balancing Creativity and Structure with Miro

  • September 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is how it enables real-time collaboration on an infinite canvas. As a Product Manager, I can bring designers, engineers, and business stakeholders together in one space—whether for brainstorming, customer journey mapping, or sprint planning. The flexibility of templates combined with interactive features like sticky notes, voting, and timers makes workshops highly engaging and productive, even in remote or hybrid setups.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing, I dislike. I love everything in Miro. It is a power-packed application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of aligning distributed and cross-functional teams by providing a single, interactive space for collaboration. Instead of juggling multiple tools for brainstorming, roadmapping, and retrospectives, everything can be done on one visual canvas. This reduces miscommunication, speeds up decision-making, and ensures that ideas are captured and organized effectively. For me as a Product Manager, it means smoother discovery workshops, clearer product roadmaps, and stronger team alignment—ultimately saving time and driving better product outcomes.

Intuitive and versatile platform for visual collaboration and brainstorming.

  • September 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Miro is its flexible and intuitive visual workspace, which really simplifies real-time collaboration with team members. Whether I'm brainstorming, creating mind maps, or planning projects, the platform makes the process smooth. The drag-and-drop interface, along with the available templates and integrations with other tools, makes organizing ideas feel effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find challenging about Miro is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming due to the abundance of features, which may be particularly daunting for new users. I have also noticed that performance tends to slow down when working with very large boards. Furthermore, some of the more advanced features are only available with paid plans, which restricts the full range of functionality for those using the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro addresses the challenges of dispersed teamwork and scattered ideas by offering a centralized, visual collaboration platform. It enables teams to brainstorm, plan projects, and map out processes together in real time, even when working remotely.

Personally, I find this very helpful because it keeps all ideas organized in a single location, improves clarity during team discussions, and accelerates decision-making. This helps minimize the back-and-forth communication that often happens with emails or chat messages.

Very smart virtual whiteboard with proactive add-ons and innovative features.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the completely seamless experience and the ease with which I can find answers to any questions, even very specific ones, without needing to contact support services. Hence the best customers support is when you don't need it. The authorization process is also thoughtfully designed. This product is truly inspiring, maintaining high standards and encouraging everyone to strive for excellence.
The versatility of the use case is huge, I use it a s visual placeholder for almost every task I do as a PM and to talk with my diverse stakeholders to have a common understanding of the topic at hand. It is a great documentation tool as well as a great team building tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the sign-up process confusing as a new user who has just joined a company, particularly when I'm required to use my company email address and join a 'team.' These shared spaces are often outdated, relying on free accounts and old boards that aren't always maintained. In this scenario, a free user can't really make use of the three free boards, which limits their ability to influence how their company adopts Miro. Additionally, the AI features could be highlighted more clearly (providing much more credits to just try out things and possibilities), since it's easy to spend a lot of time experimenting and failing before actually discovering what Miro can offer.
It may be difficult for "visitors" to figure out how to contribute to the project they are invited to collaborate on. It is easy to implement since sign up is fast, but not the same as a free visitor without an account, who also need to be onboarded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides me with an interactive, highly versatile, and intuitive platform for mapping out and connecting ideas. The ease of sharing makes it convenient to take results out of the Miroverse and deliver value to stakeholders who simply need to be kept informed. The templates offer a wide range of inspiration to help get started quickly and avoid procrastination. Overall, it is an excellent tool for managing innovation and encouraging collaboration, especially in a remote-first company.

Sometimes, large boards can get a bit overwhelming or take time to load, especially with heavy content. While not a major blocker, smoother performance for very complex boards would make the experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Business Analyst, Miro helps me bring cross-functional teams together to visualize requirements, create process flows, and align stakeholders quickly. It solves the problem of scattered communication by centralizing ideas and documentation in one interactive space. This improves clarity, speeds up decision-making, and ensures everyone is on the same page—especially valuable in remote and hybrid setups

Team Collaboration Simplified

  • September 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration is effortless with Miro's unlimited canvas and user-friendly UI. Whether working in person or remotely, teams may efficiently generate and visualize ideas with the aid of the vast template collection and real-time editing options.
What do you dislike about the product?
When boards get really big and include a lot of components, the performance may be slow. The amount of editable boards on the free plan is limited, and there is a learning curve for several complex capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows us to bring distributed teams together in a single shared space. Rather than switching between different tools for brainstorming, roadmapping, and project planning, we can handle everything on one board. This not only saves time during workshops but also keeps our ideas organized and makes real-time collaboration much easier for everyone. Personally, I find it particularly helpful for aligning cross-functional teams on strategy and product decisions, eliminating the need for endless email threads or slide decks.

Miro is a very simple tool to put thoughts to paper and share with the team.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to put your thoughts down on paper, whether for your own reference or for your team to see, allows you to bring people together instantly to share ideas and feedback. What do you dislike about the product?
It can be pretty hard to fully understand when you first get going, however with help that the site provides it does become easy to pick up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed me to show the whole team what direction we want to be heading in, this comes with visual timescales and stages that we have been hitting and what we need to be hitting.

Miro makes it really easy to map out flows and systems visually. I like how flexible the boards are, and the templates save me a lot of time. It’s intuitive and collaborative, so it works well for brainstorming, planning, and organizing complex ideas with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming when the board gets too big, and it takes extra effort to keep everything organized. Also, it can run slowly with larger boards or when too many people are collaborating at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me organize complex workflows and systems in a way that’s easy to understand and share. Instead of juggling scattered notes or disconnected tools, I can map everything out visually in one place. This makes planning smoother, helps me spot gaps or improvements faster, and keeps my team aligned since we can collaborate in real time.
