Convenient and Accessible, with Some UI Clutter
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro extremely convenient for my university work. It's easily accessible, free, and I can access it from any device. The initial setup is easy, which was a big plus for me. Miro is enough for my needs, and I don't even have to use other tools with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the screen cluttered, with too much going on in the UI. It could be condensed down more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to complete my module, and I appreciate how it is easily accessible, free, and easy to access from any device.
Intuitive and Effective for Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro really helpful for keeping a good overview of the many aspects of our design process. It's easy to work on with multiple people and intuitive to use. New team members can join the process instantly and access project history just by scrolling the board. I love the drag and drop feature, which works well and is instant. Adding notes, reference images, and going back to previous options is nice. The setup was super easy, and we've been using Miro for many years; it's awesome. I particularly appreciate how it keeps our daily overview and process tracking well in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can’t upload PDFs (which we get from CAD software) as it makes the board work very slow. We made a workaround rule to only upload screenshots which works but sometimes people forget and the board becomes very slow. Also sometimes the boards get very big and keep hanging. Then we make a new board but the history/workflow is a bit broken between two boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to keep a good overview of our design process, making it easy to collaborate with multiple people, sketch on drawings, and track project history. Miro's intuitive interface lets new team members quickly join and scroll through past projects, aiding collaboration.
Seamless Collaboration and Infinite Workspace
What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoy about Miro is the ability to work and collaborate with several people at once. Additionally, I value the fact that the board is infinite, as this feature enhances the platform's overall flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue is that we can't use it on our phones without experiencing lag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has addressed the challenge of allowing a large number of people to join and collaborate on a board simultaneously. In my experience, no other platform offers this capability. And also its free!!
Versatile Tool for Collaboration and unstructured documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro almost every day, especially for collaboration, architectural reviews, and product documentation. It's very versatile. I find the freedom that it offers pretty good. The whole whiteboard scales up very well, and Miro keeps adding features, which helps it stay competitive. I've seen Miro evolving, which is great. I also appreciate all the templates and the small improvements, like the Post-It stack, which are really great details. I love to see these things come alive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the export capabilities are not the best. Also, the capabilities to work with people outside our organization could be improved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with the team remote or hybrid, Miro is very good to have everyone collaborating on the same whiteboard.
Interactive Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is interactive, easy to share, and allows multiple people to review the same document. It makes the whole process smoother. I also appreciate the better display of processes and the real-time collaboration it offers. Setting it up was very easy with just a single sign-on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the sharing link for collaboration in Miro could be improved. Sometimes it is a little faulty and can stall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for a better display of processes and real-time collaboration in my process mapping.
Enhances Team Collaboration and Feedback Gathering
What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for several reasons. The design aspects like the 'infinite' board and the ability to easily change the size of objects help keep things neat. The templates are a good source of inspiration for me. I also really appreciate the feature that lets me see where participants are looking on the board, as it gives me insight into who is doing what and if they might be hesitating about anything. Additionally, it was easy to set up, which I found quite convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the object-clicking seems a bit uncontrollable, like with connections between objects happening without me wanting to create them. Also it would be good if documents could be linked to the board in a visually better way. Some features I do not use because I am not sure how to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate teamwork, structure thoughts, guide discussions, and gather feedback efficiently and neatly.
Intuitive UI, Needs AI Feature Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I guess the UI makes it pretty simple to just get started. A lot of other UIs make it quite complicated, but Miro keeps it fairly simple, and it's gotten a lot faster recently, which I noticed and think is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the sharing function could maybe be sometimes a bit easier just to get people in and started when you're trying to collaborate. The AI features have been terrible. I mean, I haven't tried them lately, but I tried to make, like, a mind map a while ago, and the results were terrible. So, could probably do some improving. I did say that the pricing was really hard to understand. Found it very confusing. Can't say I felt any of that for the last couple of years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for thinking spatially, associating ideas in a non-linear way unlike a vertical document.
Intuitive and Functional Tool, but with Room for Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro because it is very functional and intuitive. The ability to work and build flowcharts as a team is a great differentiator. The artificial intelligence present in it helps a lot in the construction and assembly of flowcharts, optimizing time by automatically performing tasks that would take a few minutes to do manually. Additionally, the ready-made templates that Miro offers are also an important help. I really like the features it has, and the intuitiveness of the tool stands out, making it easy to quickly understand the meaning of each button and the available features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that when we are building something manually, I still have a lot of difficulty organizing the size of the cards and their alignment. I wish there were an intelligent solution that, by clicking a button, would automatically sort and adjust the cards proportionally. I also miss an automatic suggestion for the coloring of the cards according to the flowchart I am creating, or that these features were more functional or more intuitive to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to identify flaws in company processes that lead to financial losses. It optimizes time with automatic flowcharts and templates, as well as being functional and intuitive, allowing for team collaboration.
Efficient team collaboration, but expensive
What do you like best about the product?
I like that with Miro you can work remotely with multiple people. The features to add various notes and share thoughts are great. Also, the ability to stop time and have a timer helps with organization. Cards and other organizational tools further enhance the whole experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the price quite high, having to pay per user, and that it might be better to have a one-time subscription per month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps with organization and facilitates collaboration on projects, especially when working remotely with multiple people. I appreciate the feature to add various notes, share thoughts, stop the time, and organize the entire project.
Effortless Customization with Abundant Block Types
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to add and edit fields and text, and there's a tonne of block-types to use, (visible doc, text, frame, notes, etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular that I have found so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving me a place to oversee and connect my entire strategy, customer journey, business model, etc.
