A great UX research and workshopping tool

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its biggest strength is how collaborative it is. I can easily bring in stakeholders who have no experience with Miro and conduct workshops, set up workshops quickly, and easily synthesize data from research. My favorite feature is copy and pasting data from Excel cells as stickies in Miro, which speeds up clustering/affinity mapping process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tables are really frustrating to work with. If I need a clean table I use Figma, if I need to work with raw data or lots of data I use Excel, but I use Miro a lot for UX research projects and need organized info to reference. I like that the table feature was added (as opposed to just grids) but it still feels clunky and hard to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use it for UX Research projects to sort raw data and theme/cluster. It's a reference point for different projects since I can dump text and images, quickly create diagrams to pass onto PMs or UXDs, and work out thoughts before I generate research reports. A secondary use is bringing stakeholders together to come to a consensus or tackle an issue in rapid sessions. Workshopping, especially with Miro templates and timers, facilitates organized discussions that lead to actionable outcomes.

Excellent Collaboration Tool to navigate complex workflows on a daily basis

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers a highly collaborative experience. It makes participating in multi-team projects straightforward, allowing you to easily see your role within a project while also visualizing the overall picture. Managing the complexities of projects with multiple stakeholders has never been this simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to adjust the formating of each section and element. The more complex the scheme, with elements from multiple categories, the longer time is needed to make it appear clearly and lisible for others to follow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it easier for me to coordinate with teams on complex workflows. It ensures everyone stays accountable and has a clear understanding of their role in the process. The platform is colorful, lively, and easy to navigate.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is a problem with loading. So it loads slowly sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simplicity and Speed Make Miro a Collaborative Must-Have

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for almost any group work, especially in my university architecture studies. I really like having a common, always accessible whiteboard for ideas, mindmaps, and moodboards, and for defining a common design philosophy. What stands out to me is the easy and fast interactivity, like being able to upload link images and text, and then draw on top of that or add comments. The power of Miro is in its simplicity. I can quickly upload a lot of data points, group them, comment, and share. That's what I use the most. Although I know there are many presets and other, more complex tools, for my workflow, the ease of use and speed are what matter the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not that it doesn't work well, but I find it a bit annoying that I have to take a screenshot from some website I want to share and then add a link to it. So if the page is really long, it can be difficult to find the exact place I took a screenshot of. I would like to see an implementation of an interactive screenshot where you can 'import' an image of a part of a webpage, but then when you click on it, it gets you to the exact spot of the page. Also, you can only have 3 boards if you use the free version, and I found the concept of 'teams' a bit confusing, like how that works and how to leave a board or the group. Maybe it would be nice to be able to save a board as a file if you leave the Miro board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a common, always accessible whiteboard for ideas, mindmaps, and moodboards. It helps in defining a common design philosophy.

Intuitive, Organized, and Perfect for Team Collaboration

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Was introduced to MIRO at my new work place and i love how free and yet organized we can make our boards. It works exceptionally well for large teams, even when said teams are not necessarily what would you think MIRO would be used for. We use it as a team on a daily basis. Very intuitive, easy to implement once you get to use, very integrated, 10/10 interface, 10/10 would recommend - and i actually do
What do you dislike about the product?
Only complaint is that inserting PDF's makes the board too heavy to load, if that could be solved would be great, if not. it's honestly pretty good as is
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We once had to use multiple tools to do what we now do at MIRO

Lovely and easy to collaborate with large team

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Miro to collaborate with team members on a design project because it's fast and easy to use. I appreciate that everything can be organized in one big frame, so we don't have to search for files to explain stuff to others. It's easy to organize things and move around in Miro. The initial setup was very easy, and because of these reasons, I'd rate it a 10 on how likely I'd recommend it to a friend or colleague.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can convert PDF pages to photos so you can have photo control like crop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro puts everything in one big frame, so I don't have to search for files a lot to explain stuff to others. It's speedy, easy to use, and easy to organize stuff and move around.

Excellent for Collaboration, But Can Be Overwhelming for New Users

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is great for collaborative sessions, brainstorm exercises and very visual representation of thinking.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tricky to use for people who aren't used to it. The number of features can be daunting and make it feel like I am not using it to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a fully remote organisation, it supports collaborative working with peers, allows us to produce visual diagrams to support our strategy, support any project review when finished. On a personal level, I find it very useful to externalise ideas and produce mind maps on paper to communicate my thinking.

Streamlined Workflow with Easy Usability

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's usability and ecosystem. It resolves the manual need to create a flow because the preset templates set it up for me. I appreciate using blueprints and templates, especially for the ease they provide when doing lots of the same sessions. This ensures sessions are streamlined and follow the same repeatable process. The initial setup of Miro was easy enough and very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the select function - it can be jarring to press this to not move around notes on the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro resolves the need to manually create flows with pre-set templates and streamlines sessions with repeatable processes using blueprints, improving usability.

Interactive, Secure, but Occasionally Laggy

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really value Miro for its interactivity and seamlessness. It's so easy to use in design, which is something I appreciate. Plus, it's aesthetically pleasing, which makes working with it enjoyable. I enjoy having a variety of options for elements to add to a board, and the security features give me confidence that our space is protected. The initial setup was straightforward, and I found the account creation process simple, with no issues since.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it struggles handling lots of content and lags quite a bit sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us collate various elements like notes, blueprints, and research, linking them effectively. It enables collaboration in a shared space, supporting agile workflows and team effectiveness.

Smooth Real-Time Collaboration with a Simple, Accessible UI

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple and intuitive it is to use. The UI is very straightforward, sharing boards is super easy (even with people who aren’t registered), and everything works directly in the browser without any installation. Real-time collaboration is also a big plus - it feels like everyone is in the same room working together.
Miro is quick to start with since there’s no setup or installation needed. It has plenty of useful features, integrates well with other tools, and I use it regularly for planning and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the boards get slow or glitchy, especially when they become large. It can feel a bit unreliable at times. Customer support is okay, but onboarding for new users could be smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of scattered ideas and unstructured discussions by giving a single space for planning, diagrams, and teamwork. It helps my team collaborate in real time and keeps all our workflows visually organized.
