Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for nearly four years. I gravitated to it not due to its templates but due to its ability to allow me to write and draw freestyle. In order to prepare educational audio/video presentations I needed a whiteboard whose layout allowed ease of access. The tools that I use the most are pens, eraser, selection, and move. When your goal in creating the videos is to present difficult material in an understandable and readable way you need a writing tool that draws sharp lettering and figures, changes colors quickly, and is easily accessible in a menu. Miro has all of that as well as the ability to quickly change between not one but three colors of pens and to resize the pen tip. My work involves writing detailed mathematics on the whiteboard. Anything other than sharp lettering would lead to an unreadable and unusable outcome. Over the years, changes have been made by the Miro staff to the layout of the tools as well as introducing new ones. They may have at times moved things around but never in such a manner that it hindered my work or made me feel the need to once again search for a new system. I would be amiss if I didn’t mention that it has many other tools at your disposal even for freestyle work that I have used from time to time. Precise shape templates as well as smart drawing are just two of many. Like I said earlier, I cannot speak to template use but as a freestyle writing system, it was the best I found years ago and it continues to perform exceptionally well to this day.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the features that I primarily use, I have found nothing that causes difficulty with my work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to prepare educational audio/video presentations.

Transformative Collaborative Workspace for Teams

  • December 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like using Miro because it provides a visual collaborative online workspace where teams can think, plan, and work together in real time. It's very useful as multiple people can write, draw, or add ideas at the same time. I appreciate how teams can map workflows, create command boards, and road maps and timelines. Miro is particularly beneficial for product design, UX, agile teams, and strategic planning, keeping ideas, documents, images, and discussions all in one place. The initial setup was very easy and very handy.

Perfect for Collaborative Project Management

  • December 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro's collaboration and visualization capabilities, allowing easy collaboration and flexible visualization for project management. I appreciate being able to place different kinds of objects in a free-form way, which lets me draw connections where they make the most sense and move things around as ideas shift. The availability of lots of templates and objects to work with is also a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if things scaled relative to the other objects that were placed around them. Sometimes when I place a new object down, it appears extremely small and I have to resize it. It would be nice if Miro automatically accounted for the size of other objects in my frame of work and put down objects that were appropriately size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows easy collaboration and flexible visualization, letting me place different objects freely to draw connections and move things as ideas shift.

Easy to Use but Lacking Prototyping Features and confusing for account management

  • December 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I do like that Miro seems pretty easy to use. It seems like it's easier and less intimidating for people to get up to speed with it. Even though it doesn't feel like it's as fully functional as FigJam and Figma.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the prototyping process in Miro cumbersome. Compared to tools like Figma and FigJam, creating something like a storyboard involves a lot of extra steps, which doesn't give the rapid ease I'm used to with other software. It feels like Miro is a bit behind the curve, especially for prototyping time-based experiences or using AI. Also, the setup process was confusing for me because I had an old account, and transitioning to a consulting account wasn't straightforward. It doesn't give me confidence to use it with clients, which makes me worry it might cause friction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Miro solves for me is asynchronous and synchronous collaboration, especially asynchronously, with both internal team members and clients.

Intuitive Design, But Lacks Precise Control

  • December 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's UI because it's very easy to use and very fast to make any flow chart. I also appreciate the infinite space that allows me to create any chart, document, or sheet. Additionally, Miro helps me visualize plans and effectively explain them to stakeholders. The initial setup was very easy for my team, making it a user-friendly tool overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no parametric designing, I mean the blocks and every other feature are very good but for a person who wants everything to be numbered, there is no way I can put size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create flow charts for project plans, helping me visualize and explain the plan to stakeholders.
