What do you dislike about the product?
Initial learning curve and maneuverability.

Limited Enjoyment, Needs More Intuitive Features
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for plotting user journeys and sharing with stakeholders who don't have FigJam. I find myself using the stickynotes feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like it, it's just what I'm forced to use. I just feel that everything is more intuitive in FigJam. Really not a fan of the arrows/connectors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for plotting user journeys and sharing with stakeholders, mainly solving stakeholder alignment issues.
Collaborative boards have streamlined sprint retrospectives and made presentation planning efficient
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Miro Business - Enterprise is to facilitate our retrospectives and coordinate on presentations.
A specific example of how I've used Miro Business - Enterprise for a retrospective is that it is convenient being able to see all of the different cards our retrospective team members might input, including the sticky notes and other elements.
I do not have anything else to add about how I'm using Miro Business - Enterprise or any other ways my team collaborates on it.
What is most valuable?
The best features Miro Business - Enterprise offers is that you can have several boards.
Having several boards does help my team organize different projects or topics, though the organization is somewhat random, and we might need it when we prepare for a presentation or if we have a retrospective at the end of every sprint.
Miro Business - Enterprise has positively impacted my organization because we are able to have a platform to coordinate for retrospectives. This change has made meetings much more efficient because everything is on the board, people know what to do, people know how to reflect, and it is very convenient the way we have our retrospective set up on the board.
What needs improvement?
I wish Miro Business - Enterprise had dark mode.
Besides dark mode, there is no other change or addition I would like to see. The main improvement on my mind is dark mode.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Miro Business - Enterprise for approximately one to two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Miro Business - Enterprise is stable for me, with no issues regarding downtime or performance.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Miro Business - Enterprise's scalability is good and it can handle growing teams or larger projects easily.
How are customer service and support?
I have not needed to reach out to customer support with Miro Business - Enterprise.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We use Lucidchart as well and we did not switch; we use both for retrospectives or presentations.
What was our ROI?
I'm sure Miro Business - Enterprise has saved us time, but I do not have a specific example.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Miro Business - Enterprise, I evaluated other options including Lucidchart and Mural.
What other advice do I have?
My advice for others looking into using Miro Business - Enterprise is that there is a free version, so go ahead and try it. My company does not have a business relationship with this vendor other than being a customer. I would rate this product an eight out of ten.
Intuitive Whiteboard with Powerful Connectors
What do you like best about the product?
I definitely like the connectors in Miro. They allow me to take something I've just drawn or thought about and connect it back to some type of team workload component. I also discovered Miro's ability to remove backgrounds, which I find very helpful for planning or vision boarding, like for a presentation slide or a piece of graphic work. Miro makes it easy to remove stuff, like pulling an icon and getting rid of its background super fast so it doesn't look abnormal on my draft. With Miro being connected to all these different tools, I can do work in one place without having to reproduce it elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is like a lot of tools today, in that you don't know about some of its awesome features until you spend time with it. This isn't just a reflection on just Miro, but is rather an issue with a lot of tools and systems in general. For example, I didn't initially know about the connectors Miro has or features like AI background removal. I discovered those on my own with time. Again, that may have been a fault of my own though, as I don't recall any kind of getting started guide, but very well may have closed that haphazardly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro to be an intuitive whiteboard that facilitates collaboration and enables me to transform ideas into tangible outcomes. The connectors are crucial, integrating workflows so I don't need to duplicate work across different platforms.
Powerful, User-Friendly Canvas with Impressive Features
What do you like best about the product?
The canvas is easy to use and extremely powerful for designing and planning solutions, even with a large group of people. The available apps and plug-ins are useful for accessing more advanced features, and the AI functionality works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to pricing, it would be great if there were options that better support non-frequent users and small businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MIRO makes it easier to collaborate effectively, especially during large-scale sessions like big room (PI) planning. It is also a powerful tool for delivering interactive training sessions.
Versatile Tools That Elevate Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers a handful of tools which are beneficial to our team for a variety of uses, including brainstorms, Retros, and Tech Canvases. I use Miro at least a couple of times a week and it's been useful for thinking collectively in a squad
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial landing page can make it difficult to find the Canvas I am wanting, I feel that as part of a team I'd like some sort of folder option to group Miro boards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is providing a convenient place for our squad to work collaboratively, with useful features in voting and anonymous mode. It provides a space for the whole team to work together, but also collate our thoughts in a colourful space
Versatile Tool with Great Collaboration Features but Needs Improved Templates
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is a blank slate allowing me to build my own universe to work within as I choose. Being a visually organized person, I find it most useful for keeping participants on track with visual cues for directing conversations step-by-step. I particularly found the arrows feature helpful for moving from one part of the presentation to the next, keeping everyone on the same page while allowing them to feel included and capable of contributing as needed. It helps maintain a clear direction of the conversation, focuses people's attention, and leads to productive use of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked if one of the templates offered was a middle ground between the pre-set 'presentation' and the free for all collaborative space. I ended up needing to build a hybrid manually that would have saved me time if it existed. It would be great to have some templates bucketed by industry to see styles that have proven useful across different sectors. I copy and pasted information from Google Docs and PowerPoint presentations, although the formatting was a bit tough as things were grainy visually, or the content didn't fully come over in the same format, which made me spend more time on formatting in Miro. If there was a functionality between Miro and Google Docs / PowerPoint, it would have been a more seamless experience. The initial setup took me a while to figure out as the AI assistant didn’t quite understand what I was trying to build, so I ended up doing everything manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows us to conduct virtual workshops that mirror in-person sessions, helping keep participants engaged and on track with visual cues. The arrows feature guides the conversation efficiently, focusing attention and maintaining a productive discussion.
Unmatched Flexibility and Collaboration for Traveling Design Teams
What do you like best about the product?
The adaptability, The neutral design of Miro allows you to truly iterate and create an universal ideation space, that is difficult to match in a physical setting. This allows endless possibilities for all design sectors to design, develop, and collaborate in real time, anywhere you have access to a computer. This is the most crucial aspect when it comes to remote work in design careers, the ability to see a full design process, like its on the table Infront of you (if the table was infinitely wide and long!)
What do you dislike about the product?
No negatives except when the program is laggy, or I reach a board limit, but one board is counted twice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When a project manager is traveling for another project, it can be challenging to effectively manage and support a productive design environment for proposal development. Usually, the PM is left out of the loop while on the move. However, this space enables a project manager to thoroughly contribute feedback and design ideas whenever and wherever coordination is required.
Essential for Collaborative Design and Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for whiteboarding, especially because my team members work virtually, and it provides a common space to share our thoughts together and get rid of ambiguity. I really like the infinite canvas and feel that the UI is really nice, allowing me to do things quickly using the shapes and pen tools. I don't feel limited when I'm doing these things. There are so many plugins, including one with Jira, which helps link to the tickets. The ability to create presentations using Miro is a huge benefit, acting as a common thinking vessel. At the end, the product gives value in different ways, whether it's showcasing it as a presentation or sharing with peers to get feedback. The setup was very easy for everyone on the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it's pretty hard adding simple text to Miro diagrams. I don't really like the formatting of the posted notes because I can't have headings, subheadings. And with documents, I can't change how big or small they look. It would be really useful if there was a shortcut key to quickly enter text mode, similar to how Excalidraw works for text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro gives my virtual team a common space to share thoughts and avoid ambiguity. It's great for technical design and collaboration, allowing real-time or asynchronous feedback. The digital end products serve as documentation, aiding in future references and ticket creation.
