Unmatched Flexibility and Seamless Integration with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility of Miro and range of work you can do with it -- from designing products, to brainstorming, to facilitating an online session. I find it's very easy to integrate work done with other applications into Miro, for example in integrating Google Slides.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main challenge with Miro is when I use it with others who are unfamiliar with the application -- they sometimes get overwhelmed by the number of features. This can usually be solved by suggesting that users stick to a couple of items (e.g. sticky notes) and a short tutorial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a new organization, and so we're building our systems from the ground up. We need tools that can accomodate both high-level strategic thinking and granular operational details, which Miro can do perfectly all in one board.
Versatile and Essential for Collaborative Mapping
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro provides a comprehensive visual of automations and assets, which is invaluable for my teams during execution, contribution, or leadership tasks. The platform's tools and integrations make it my go-to digital whiteboard, especially when mapping customer journeys and handling email marketing. The ability to link assets, use sticky notes, and enable team members to add comments significantly enhances our collaboration. Specifically, I can take a screenshot of a website and link it in an email journey, allowing me to effectively prototype the customer experience from one asset to another to identify any gaps or opportunities. The sticky notes feature is incredibly useful for jotting down quick notes during client reviews, and the AI capability that gathers these notes and transforms them into a clear action plan for next steps is outstanding. Setting up Miro was also simple, making it a seamless addition to my workflow. I am so satisfied with the tool that I regularly recommend it to friends and colleagues, rating my likelihood of recommending it a solid 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that for clients and team members to interact with the board and make edits, they need to have a user seat. This limitation is a barrier because I am usually the only one using the tool, and many clients do not use the platform, so getting a paid seat is often dismissed. Miro's dependency on paid user seats restricts collaborative interactions. As a potential solution, I would appreciate if a paid user could provide temporary access to clients, allowing them to access the board and make comments without the need for a paid seat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro visually organizes automations and assets, aiding our team’s execution and allows prototyping of customer journeys to identify gaps. Its integrations like sticky notes and linking enhance collaboration and planning, while AI aids in developing action plans.
Visual, Intuitive, and Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easily Miro allows us to track the progress of our projects thanks to its highly visual and easily accessible nature. It is intuitive, which simplifies getting started. The infinite size of the boards is a major asset that allows ideas to be developed without constraints. Features like timers and boards capable of performing calculations greatly simplify practical management without needing Google Sheets for simple budget calculations. I also appreciate the hassle-free initial installation of Miro, and my loyalty to Miro over the years is a testament to its reliability and usefulness. I do not hesitate to strongly recommend it to a friend or colleague, expressing myself with a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

It is a bit slow to load.

I use Miro to track the progress of projects. It is easy to share and visual, with useful features like timers and tables for simple calculations, eliminating the need for Google Sheets.

I am frustrated with the limited ability to create diagrams with a wide range of shapes in Miro. This constraint limits the flexibility I need to fully express complex ideas and visualizations. Being able to utilize a varied set of shapes would greatly enhance the utility of Miro for my strategic mapping tasks.

I love how easy it is to work on the same board simultaneously with my team, even when we are in different countries and time zones. This feature of Miro is incredibly intuitive and accessible, making collaboration smooth and efficient for everyone involved. I appreciate that it allows us to see our ideas spread out on a board, where we can include text and graphics, giving everyone a clear view of what we are discussing. This visualization capability greatly helps in having a shared understanding within the team. Furthermore, Miro has significantly streamlined our workflow, reducing the need for detailed briefs and making it much easier to visualize and plan our projects. The initial setup of Miro was very easy, which made the transition to using this tool seamless. Overall, these features have made Miro an invaluable resource in my team's project discussions and planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Miro could be improved by having a more advanced clipping tool for better integration of images. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have more templates specifically tailored for design and creative processes, which can enhance the workflow from the idea phase to the final phase. These improvements would cater more effectively to the needs of creatives and similar functions.

Effortless Collaboration and User-Friendly Design
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, great for collaboration. Easy to send invites to collaborators. The feature of adding and exploding all pdf pages is very useful. Update

Can get laggy when pdfs or multiple images are uploaded.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro to be an excellent tool for journey mapping with its diverse options and well-designed features that simplify my academic work. The use of sticky notes, color coding, and the ability to add images are particularly helpful, enhancing the visual organization and creativity of my projects. I value the collaborative workspace, which allows me and my team to work simultaneously on the same board, significantly boosting our teamwork efficiency. The intuitive nature of Miro makes it easy to understand and use, once we got past the initial setup confusion. Overall, Miro's comprehensive feature set makes it a pretty cool tool for my purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find navigation in Miro to be less intuitive than I would like. Zooming and moving around with clicks could be made easier to enhance the user experience.

Excellent Collaboration Tool with Abundant Templates and Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool for collaboration and creating visuals and presentations. It's easy to work with, has a large community of templates, and a great support function.
What do you dislike about the product?
I actually don´t dislike anything about Miro.
