The best tool for organizing projects

  • September 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the diversity of tools that Miro has. I love the variety of templates we can use, because it makes it easier to come up with boards that work best for my projects. Implementing all the tools is easy for me. I love how colourful I can make the board and how I can put everything in one singular place!
What do you dislike about the product?
Making files easier to implement in the board. It can be hard to do this with larger files. Also maybe having a new and improved how to guide for beginners who have never used this before - some of my colleagues find it difficult to learn it when I first introduce them to this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Miro has significantly improved how I organize research processes, communicate findings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. It saves time, enhances clarity, and makes the research process more engaging and inclusive. Healthcare research often involves multifaceted data (clinical pathways, patient journeys, systems thinking). Miro helps map these out visually, making complex relationships easier to understand and communicate. Miro is also great for virtual workshops with people like patients, clinicians, and policymakers. It encourages active participation and captures diverse input efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
The "Bring everyone to me" feature is so helpful for keeping everyone on the same page
What do you dislike about the product?
When you're on a paid plan, anyone who decides to join your org becomes a billed seat automatically. This leads to inflated bills for no reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me visually organize information

Miro for Shared Collaboration & Brainstorming

  • September 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has transformed the way my team (internally & externally) collaborates. The platform is flexible and makes it easy to bring everyone's ideas together in one space - whether we're brainstorming, journey mapping, or moving through other design activities. I especially love the variety of templates and tools that make it simple to get started quickly and keep sessions engaging. With teammates spread across multiple locations, Miro keeps us aligned and connected. The visual nature of the board makes complex ideas easier to understand. It has truly become an essential part of our work. As a research & design specialist, this platform has saved me time, sparks creativity, and makes collaboration not just productive, but fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has a steep learning curve especially for first time users - with the many tools and templates it can seem overwhelming to navigate at first. However, with time the platform becomes easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has been immensely helpful in allowing our team to solve for complex challenges & ideate solutions. With remote work, there can be a loss of creativity and Miro really helps elevate that experience by mimicking a whiteboard online as much as possible. Miro keeps my team engaged especially allowing me to run structured brainstorming sessions with use of sticky notes, voting, and facilitation tools. It reduced siloed work allowing us to cross-collaborate and align better as a team

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to upload photos and comments. I also like that I can easily adjust and move things around.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro's notifications do not always let me know when a comment has come through. I also wish you could always download images out of Miro without permission.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Versatile Tool, But Needs Better Navigation

  • September 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro's dynamic arrows and lines that seamlessly connect elements, saving me significant time. The integration of AI for affinity grouping and proposing dimensions is impressive. The automatic creation of cards from CSV data is a huge time saver, enhancing my workflow especially in integration with other data tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the navigation within Miro to be challenging, particularly regarding the organization of boards, folders, teams, and projects. Without formal onboarding or training, understanding this structure was disorienting, and I largely relied on search functionality for recall of files. Additionally, while navigation has improved over the years, clicking through structures is still a bit of a challenge. I also think that new user onboarding could be more intelligent, with actionable insights or best practices for organizing files provided. There is scope for AI to assist with suggesting changes in file structure or dynamically renaming files as their content evolves. This would be especially beneficial as Miro files can grow significantly over time. It would also be helpful to have more capability to view architectural chunks of data within a board, possibly through navigable subgroups inside a Canvas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, enabling synchronous and asynchronous problem exploration. It helps me document and strategize effectively through structured templates and dynamic AI capabilities, saving time and maintaining focus on critical content over visual details.

The Best Tool for Visual Boards and Flows

  • September 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is incredibly easy to use and reliable — it doesn’t crash, even when handling large or complex boards. The platform feels dynamic compared to others I’ve tried, and it makes visualizing boards and building process flows simple and intuitive. I especially appreciate how smooth collaboration feels, and it’s far superior to ClickUp’s whiteboard in terms of usability and flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is strong overall, it could offer more advanced integrations with project management tools to make the transition from brainstorming to execution more seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me tackle process fragmentation and reduce operational risk. By providing a clear visual workspace, I can map out workflows, spot gaps, and align teams more effectively. Instead of juggling fragmented documents and tools, I can bring everything into one board, which makes processes easier to understand and manage. This

Our key tool for brainstorming, planning, and collaboration across teams - Product Management

  • September 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The sticky-note workflow is unbeatable. I love the Post-it–style notes, the built-in timer for structured brainstorms, and the library of templates that lets us spin up sessions in seconds. Advanced elements like Cards and sticky notes make organizing ideas effortless. And the AI features are mind-blowing—you can paste raw information and instantly transform it into neatly formatted sticky notes for faster sorting and discussion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features require a bit of training time for newcomers. Also, the search function within boards could be more powerful and accurate—it sometimes takes extra effort to locate specific content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it easy for our team to collaborate even though we’re not in the same office. It allows us to document everything in one shared space and keep track of important projects and initiatives. This way, nothing gets lost, and everyone stays aligned no matter where they’re working from.
