I couldn't do my job as a UX Designer without Miro!

  • September 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is such a key tool in my role as a UX Designer for collaborating with stakeholders, presenting and designing UX artefacts like service blueprints and Customer journey maps and wireflows that I would be lost without it. There are other tools but they're inferior to Miro. I really appreciate that MIRO gets updated to include features that just make the smallest things so easy, whether I am mocking up screens or wireframing, or putting together a board to get client input and feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I've disliked is when I've tried using their AI tools, it's been tricky and not intuitive for me. I tried a few prompts that didn't work and I couldn't get much insight into how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me communicate my designs to stakeholders and this helps me get the feedback and input I need to be clear on the direction for the designs.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it easy for my remote team to collaborate. We can easily map out new journeys, workflows, and even brainstorm.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be user error, but sometimes it's hard to move or easily resize multiple items at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is remote and I love that it makes it easy for us to easily share ideas, provide feedback on new projects, and keep tasks moving along.

    Architecture & Planning

MIRO

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is an infinite board. Very useful for architectural concept design process and collaborations. I like that you can sticky notes like a real physical board and connect objects together thru lines and arrows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that when we have added a lot of images... the board tends to be slow. I also dont like that when we zoom in and out of pdf files, it reloads. This makes it heavier to move around Miro when we have added a lot of pdf files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online collaboration platform.

    Manufacturing

As simple or detailed of a tool as you need it to be.

  • September 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very quick and straightforward to put together something simple in Miro, but Miro also has the tools available to organise much larger scale, complex projects. The ability to create your own internally-shared icon libraries greatly aids in effective communication using the company design language. I keep coming back to Miro more and more often for different tasks, because it always has the tools to support what I want to do. It is also surpisingly easy to integrate Miro with media and other business tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still a notable learning curve when trying to implement complex diagrams, or when using some of the more sophistocated tools in Miro. There is no tutorial to expose you to the existence of some of the more powerful tools - you just need to discover them yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has enabled me to map out complex network diagrams for connecting different pieces of machinery together in order to create a smart interface for a heavy manufacturing environment. It is much faster to iterate designs in Miro than similar level complexity tools like Microsoft's Visio. Designs also look more appealing and professional in Miro than competing tools.

What do you like best about the product?
We use Miro for team exercises in the fashion industry. It is user-friendly and great for collaborating. We are able to use it across teams at the same time, allowing for ultimate teamwork!
What do you dislike about the product?
You can only make images larger/smaller but cannot manipulate them length wise or width wise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves our issue of being unable to work in the same file. It is super helpful for creative work and mind mapping. We can quickly hop on and make decisions as a group.

Helpful Yet Slightly Overwhelming

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the interactive whiteboard component. I'm an ESL teacher and we use Miro for our classes to teach the whole group lesson. Setting up and using a board is quick and easy and we are able to organize all of our lesson material for each of our classes. The add on features are helpful as well, whether we want to spin the wheel to select students or drop in a sticker or a sticky note.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro offers so many options that it begins to be a little bit overwhelming.I haven't used many of the tools or integrations because I would need to devote a considerable amount of time to figuring out how they work and that's time I just don't have in my busy schedule. Sometimes I'll get a training video on a feature I don't even understand. It works well for how we use it, but some of the other features are definitely over my head.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an interactive whiteboard that multiple teachers could edit and collaborate on. Miro's intuitive set up and easy sharing features solved that problem for us.

I’m really satisfied with Miro! It’s super easy to use.

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very intuitive and easy to use. I like how it makes collaboration simple, brainstorming, mapping processes, or planning projects. The interface feels smooth, and everything is well-organized. The templates are a lot and they make it easy to get started quickly. Customer support is also excellent, and I use Miro daily because it keeps my workflow productive and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming when boards get too large, and performance can slow down. Another downside is that when exporting huge boards, the images often get blurred, which makes sharing or presenting them less effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us design our workflows, systems, and other agency tasks in a very visual and collaborative way. It makes complex processes easier to map out and understand, while keeping the whole team aligned. This saves us time, reduces miscommunication, and makes project execution much smoother also make presentations more good!

A Smooth and Collaborative Design Tool

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Miro is how collaborative it feels. It’s easy for multiple people to work together at the same time without any friction, and the interface makes sense right away, even for new users. It also feels smoother and more straightforward than other platforms I’ve used. Wireframing in particular is easier in Miro, and the overall experience is more enjoyable because the tool stays out of the way and lets you focus on the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside I’ve noticed is the voting tool, which can be a little unreliable. It glitches sometimes, and that can interrupt the flow of a session when the team is trying to make quick decisions. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it is something I hope gets improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the problem of scattered collaboration, especially with remote work and client projects. In the past, it was hard to get everyone aligned when we weren’t in the same room, and ideas often got lost across different tools or email threads. With Miro, everything lives in one shared space, so we can brainstorm, wireframe, and map out plans together in real time, no matter where people are located.
