A versatile sandbox for UX design and stakeholder feedback.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is the infinite canvas and how intuitive it is to use. The pre-made templates for retrospectives and mind maps save my time. I also love the real-time collaboration features; seeing everyone's cursors moving around makes remote brainstorming sessions feel much more interactive and engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the performance can take a hit when a board gets too large or has too many high-resolution images. It can be a bit laggy to load on slower internet connections. Additionally, the mobile app experience is a bit difficult to navigate compared to the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the difficulty of sharing early-stage design concepts with non-design stakeholders. It benefits me by providing a low-barrier space where clients and developers can leave feedback directly on wireframes without needing complex design software. It has streamlined our feedback loop and reduced the time it takes to get sign-off on initial concepts.

Essential Tool with Great Ease of Use

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to use Miro and the large number of tools it provides for users. The ease of use allows me to focus on system design without delays or unnecessary complications. Additionally, I appreciate the multiple templates that facilitate the initial setup of the software, which is especially useful for UML diagrams, class diagrams, and the creation of wireframes and resumes. I am particularly grateful for the utility offered by the existing templates, although the variety could always be expanded further. This ease of getting started and the robust set of tools available make Miro a valuable tool for my design activities, allowing me to focus on the aesthetics of design and system development. Without a doubt, I would recommend Miro, as reflected by my rating of 10 out of 10 in willingness to recommend it to friends and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the shapes that Miro provides are not as flexible in their editing as they could be. This can limit the ability to customize certain elements, especially when working with complex diagrams like UML. The platform could improve by allowing greater flexibility in editing these shapes. Additionally, although Miro offers many templates for initial setup, it could have more variety to cover all needs from the start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to design systems and improve aesthetics in design with ease and various tools. It efficiently meets my needs for UML diagrams and wireframes.

Collaboration Made Easy with Miro

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro primarily for collaboration in larger projects. It provides a single point of knowledge with concurrent access, which solves several problems by allowing seamless information sharing and communication. I particularly love the collaboration features, as they allow me and my team to see who is working on certain aspects and what they are working on, providing clear visibility into team activities and responsibilities. This aspect of Miro enhances productivity and clarity within our project workflows. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro was straightforward and easy, contributing positively to its usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel limited by the current inability to easily append files in Miro. While it's not a major issue, having this feature would enhance my ability to share and manage additional resources directly within our collaborative space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for collaboration in larger projects, providing a single point of knowledge with concurrent access and visibility on who works on what.

The freedom offered by the Canvas is something I truly enjoy, as it allows me to explore and execute almost everything I envision with ease. I am indeed very satisfied with Miro, valuing it so much that I confidently recommend it highly to others, acknowledging that while it may not be essential for everyone, for me, it's a must-have tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some minor formatting issues with fonts and lines/arrows in Miro. Additionally, while the AI is good, I haven't noticed a significant change from previous versions; however, I don't consider myself a hardcore designer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to diagram processes, brainstorm, and communicate better. It helps verify business logic, identify pain points, and resolve complex communication issues. The library of visuals and community templates enhance creativity and ease collaboration.

Great for Collaboration, Held Back by Cost Barriers

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the freedom that Miro provides, allowing me to place things exactly where I need them without any boundaries, which really enhances my creative process during collaborations and workflow creation. The platform is incredibly easy to use, which is crucial for me, as it lets me perform a wide range of tasks seamlessly on the board. This ease of use means that even complex projects feel manageable. Sharing the board is another feature I find essential; it makes it possible for everyone involved to stay on the same page, which is vital for smooth collaborations. What stands out most to me about Miro is its collaboration capabilities. During meetings, the ability to interact and create together on the board makes our discussions more dynamic and productive. The initial setup was also very easy, which helped me get started with using Miro in no time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that everyone needs a paid version to effectively use Miro for collaboration. This creates difficulties when not everyone in the organization is willing or able to purchase a paid subscription. The restriction forces paid users to be unable to share and collaborate on boards with free-tier users. It would be really beneficial if Miro allowed paid users to share their boards with free-tier users for collaboration purposes, as this would make it much more useful for large organizations. Currently, we are evaluating other tools like MS Whiteboard, which offers easy access for everyone, as the situation with the paid version complicates our choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for creating workflows and collaboration during meetings, providing freedom in organization and easy sharing. It simplifies tasks with a visually collaborative platform despite limitations when others lack a paid version.
