Very flexible and modern whiteboard tool with lots of integration with other tools

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Unlimited canvas, Miro AI and Jira integration. Also, easy to administer and maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have some more on hand support when you are creating boards for the first time, but I don't have any complaints about the tool itself, it's really good.

Also, some really good templates/features lack core functionality like notifications which I think shouldn't take too much effort to implement on Miro's side, an example of this is Kanban, which does not notify users of any changes which defeats the purpose of Kanban.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration
Visual view of priorities
Product vision breakdown
Agile ceremonies
Team health check-ins
Project workflows

What do you like best about the product?
• real time collaboration between team members.
• even using it in Free plan it provides almost 90% of the tools needed by most teams in many industries.
• many templates to use and choose from to start your own board.
• it is really easy to use, for everyday task.
• I used to have sticky notes all over my desktop and notepad, now I can have all I need in one space.
What do you dislike about the product?
• I can only say one thing, maybe because i am on a free plan, which is I can't seem to manage the team members and see what boards exactly can they access and what not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
• it is helping me organizing my thoughts and notes, in a way that suits my personality.
• it is good to provide the team with real time graphical representation of ideas, and meeting notes.

A Product Manager’s Best Friend for Alignment

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I rely on Miro to translate complex ideas into clear, visual stories. The infinite canvas, wireframing tools, and extensive template library make it effortless to create user journeys, roadmaps, and prioritization matrices that stakeholders immediately understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
When boards grow very large, performance can dip, and navigating hundreds of frames can feel a little less reliable, whimsical does a better job at handling this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to run product discovery workshops, map customer journeys, and align cross-functional teams on priorities.

Five years in, still my favorite collaboration platform

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Miro for over five years, and it has become an essential part of my work. It’s incredibly intuitive and easy to use, even for people new to the platform. I really value the constant stream of new features every year, which always feel thoughtfully designed. My favorite aspect is being able to run presentations while collaborating in real time – it makes workshops, brainstorming, and planning much more engaging and productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time, the platform can lack stability, with small bugs or performance issues that interrupt the flow of work. In addition, some useful features are not available with the basic paid plan, which can feel a bit restrictive if you don’t upgrade to a higher tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to run remote workshops with clients, which makes collaboration smooth and engaging even when we’re not in the same room. It’s also great for creating and delivering live presentations (both in-person and online). On a daily basis, I rely on it as a digital notebook to capture ideas and as a central hub to gather all the elements of a project in one place. This flexibility saves me time and keeps my work well organized.

Great collaborative tool

What do you like best about the product?
I think it is super easy to use. It allows me to collaborate real time with colleagues across the world. Also the tools are intuitive and also very ignites and makes one creatively generate ideas that can very easily be turned into trackable actions. I have not used it yet but the fact that it can integrate with Jira & other very functional applications is fantastic
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is not easy to get everybody online. Doesn't happen always but when it happens it is quite painful. In general, getting the first access isn't that simple. Besides that, nothing really that i dislike. I'd like a drag post it option just like you have the auto voting application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me organize my thoughts easily. Also helps me articulate my thoughts very intuitively. Miro also helps me facilitate difficult topics through, provided there needs to be my own pre-thinking and for that that the templates help quite a bit

Miro is my main digital whiteboard

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
When I first started using Miro, back when the pandemic was in full swing and we couldn't meet f2f, it was the perfect tool to replace putting sticky notes on a whiteboard. Although we're now mainly back in the office, it's still an awesome product to use especially when we have team members still working remotely.

The majority of our project planning and workshopping is done first in Miro, then transferred/translated/linked to other documents later.

Also, the new feature to do bulk stickies is SO GOOD.
What do you dislike about the product?
No negatives - been using it for 5 years and it just gets better and better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Get my thoughts out on 'paper', visualising what I'm thinking. Also helps to collaborate between a lot of people.

A virtual whiteboard — and more!

  • September 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Drives collaborative behaviours, especially in a digital working environment. There are an abundance of apps/plugins and community created templates to help integrate this into your existing processes and workflows. There are always new and helpful features coming out and the support for them is great, the documentation is up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some performance issues you can encounter once your boards reach a certain size. However, there are guides and newer features to improve the experience in handling a lot of content across your boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro serves a gap of easy-to-use realtime collaborative software, especially in the form of a whiteboard. Because of it's broad applicability as a "whiteboard" it can be adapted for so many different use cases. Almost all workshop activities I run are facilitated through Miro, whether they are strategy, research, or even technical discussions. The support Miro has for such varying methodologies help it be useful in many aspects of my job, I use it daily.
