Boost Your Workshops with Miro's Versatile Canvas

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro extremely valuable for workshop development and process mapping as it helps me consolidate everything I want to work on into one accessible place, viewable on a single screen. I appreciate the simplicity of its functionality, which is nearly intuitive, making it easier to manage my tasks. The ability to import text, graphics, and photos into a canvas almost instantly is particularly appealing, streamlining my workflow efficiently. Additionally, the online tutorials were a significant help, making the initial setup fairly easy and boosting my understanding of the platform. Overall, Miro has proven to be a great recommendation for my needs in workshop development.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functionality in Miro isn't intuitive enough for beginners, making it challenging to learn effectively from the outset. Initially, I struggled with navigating the interface, as it took me two days to discover how to move around the screen efficiently using the scroll wheel and right mouse button. Additionally, the process mapping symbols could benefit from standardization to improve usability and clarity for users who are new to the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to consolidate all my work into one accessible place on a single screen. The simple functionality aids in workshop development and process mapping, and I appreciate the instant import of text, graphics, and photos.

Versatile Whiteboard with Easy Sharing but Limited Free Boards

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro as a digital whiteboard when teaching or reviewing concepts for my online high school science students, and I love the editable space it provides. It allows me to show students how to work out problems effectively and collaboratively by sharing the board with them and setting up practice exercises they can solve. I appreciate the variety of tools Miro offers, such as drawing, text boxes, and the ability to paste in images, which enriches my teaching experience. I also find it incredibly beneficial that the boards are shareable, permitting multiple users to edit them simultaneously. This feature enhances our interactive learning sessions significantly. Moreover, I found Miro easy to use right away, which made the transition seamless and stress-free. This ease of use, combined with its robust functionality, makes me consistently recommend Miro to others, giving it a solid 10 out of 10 in my recommendations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more than 3 editable boards with the free account. The restriction of only having 3 editable boards makes it difficult to manage my teaching materials efficiently. I find it cumbersome that once a board is set to 'View Only' mode, reverting it back to editable isn't straightforward. This limitation affects my flexibility in deciding which boards I want to keep editable. A more intuitive selection process for choosing which boards should remain editable would be highly beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create an editable space for teaching, allowing me to collaborate with students and set up practice exercises. It replaces less effective digital whiteboards and offers diverse tools like drawing, text boxes, and images, enhancing interactive learning.

Easy Whiteboarding, But User Management Needs Work

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Of all the 'whiteboard' apps I've used, including the free ones that come from Apple and Microsoft and Zoom, Miro consistently is easier and more straightforward to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user management continues to be confounding. I don't understand how to manage guests properly—it's a guess every time. The interface is so focused on upsell that it impedes daily usability for the collaboration function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for existing website content analysis (copy/paste/edit/rearrange), and also for strategy mapping.

Streamlines Creative Collaboration and Boosts Team Engagement

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Miro is the way it simplifies creative collaboration. Whether I am mapping out campaigns, planning content calendars, or reviewing assets, Miro provides my team with a single, centralized space to visually organize our ideas and maintain momentum. It truly makes cross-functional work more efficient, transparent, and engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting used to moving objects around the board can be a bit challenging at first. The controls take some time to master, and the initial learning curve may feel tricky. However, once you become familiar with how everything works, the experience is really enjoyable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it much easier for our marketing, creative, and operations teams to collaborate efficiently. Rather than managing several documents or dealing with lengthy email chains, we’re able to visually plan campaigns, structure our content, and coordinate timelines within a single platform. This ensures everyone stays informed and helps us make decisions more quickly.

Effortless Visual Communication with Versatile Add-Ons

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for creative scheduling and coordination, making it an essential tool for managing budgets, timelines, and the visual and logistical tasks for each collaborator. I love all the add-ons that Miro offers, as they enhance the capabilities of the software significantly. The sticky notes and flexible programs stand out to me, allowing for a dynamic approach to planning and visual communication. Switching from platforms like Excel, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook to Miro has been a positive change for me. The initial setup of Miro was very easy, facilitating a smooth transition and setup process overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the customization and labeling options in Miro could be greater, as I can't always change all the wording or programming in the templates. Additionally, while I am generally comfortable with Miro, some Excel-style functions could be improved to enhance flexibility. Furthermore, even though the initial setup is easy, some people struggle to access or engage with my Miro workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to visually communicate complex plans, enhancing creative scheduling and coordination involving budget, timelines, and tasks for collaborators.

Collaborative Real-Time Editing with Powerful Organization Tools

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can work collaboratively with other people in realtime, seeing their edits as they make them and having a large canvas to work on while having lots of tools to organize your projects how you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any complaints. It has been easy to use, and very snappy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm working with an external partner on a new CG trailer for our product, and it has been instrumental in staying on top of the latest updates. They submit updates, and I'm able to review easily and in realtime, and even add feedback or questions directly in Miro without needing to compile those things in a separate thread and slowing down the process on a tight deadline.

What do you dislike about the product?
I find the tables in Miro harder to customize, which can be a bit frustrating when trying to tailor them to our specific needs during project planning and documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for project planning and software architecture, solving communication and documentation challenges with its expansive boards.
